Fabian & Ryan of Bodine Construction redid our French drain that was 16 yrs old. They did an outstanding job – they were punctual, everything was done so neatly (see the photos), and they left the surrounding area in clean and perfect condition for new grass to start growing (where sod had previously been removed). Both employees were polite, extremely knowledgeable and very easy to work with! I’d highly recommend them to anyone needing drainage work and would hire them again!

He did an excellent job, was within his price quotes, and you have to be happy before you pay him the final payment. I would highly recommend him and I would definitely hire him again.

Great experiences each time I've used this company. It's really, really hard to get good people to do quality work in Seattle, and Steve Bodine is one of those people. He employs great workers, treats them well and holds on to them for years. He personally is a genuinely decent and nice guy as well. He has years and years of experience and I would trust him with all my drainage needs (that's saying something in Seattle). Bodine also did a fantastic job with my concrete driveway and walkways. I first hired Bodine almost 3 years ago to redirect my downspouts to a new drain field in my back yard. His crew did an amazing job. I was so pleased, I hired them to do some concrete work in my basement. Again, excellent work. Based on that, I then hired them to pour a new concrete driveway and walkway. Again, an incredible job. They really care about getting it right. Bodine does virtually all of their work based on referrals... and they are busy. But if you have a problem, they will take care of it immediately and other times, you just have to be a little patient knowing they're busy taking care of someone else's problems. It works both ways. They were very patient with me when I had to change dates to have my driveway poured due to other work going on at my house. I also want to mention Jim Cuba and Manny, who worked on my most recent project and were terrific.

It went well. Fast and accurate work.

The project took 10 months to finish because they sat on the project, which only took approximately 4-5 days of actual work. Then there was a dispute about their bids and what was owed, and I issued a check for the amount I believe was owed under the bids. They sat on the check, blamed me for not issuing payment, never cashing the check, requesting a new check (old one had expired months before), and finally, a little over 3 years after I first contacted them, they cashed my final payment check. If you want prompt, timely work and resolution, this is not the company for you.

After seven years of living with basement leaking after heavy prolonged rains ,and estimates of up to $21,000 from other companies to resolve the leaky basement, I am very happy to report that after this year's heavy winter rains Our basement has remained bone dry. I/we are very very happy with the work performed by the Bodine Construction employees and am happy with the costs associated with the work.

Steve Bodine came to the house and did a thorough assessment of the work needed. We had water pooling in the yard in several locations because of downspouts not tied into the sewer system. Steve gave us both a verbal and detailed written estimate for the work, performed the work on time and budget, His team did a terrific job of making sure we had proper drainage and putting the yard back the way they found it. We were very happy with the service Steve and his team provided.

The owners of the company really know their business. The crew that did the job had great communication and the landscape replacement appeared like they were never here.

They had to dig up the old outdoor drainage and put in new. The had to create two French drains and 4 clean-outs. They did a wonderful job. They cleaned up after every day and I am very very happy with their work. I refer them to all my family and friends who need help with water issues.

Bodine Construction prepared the most comprehensive and understandable bid we have every seen. We knew exactly what Bodine was going to do. (We've done several remodeling jobs in this and earlier homes; so we have a fair idea of what constitutes a good bid specification.) The Bodine crew was great: prompt, hard working, and personable. (If you were in a crawl space working for many days, could you say the same.) The crew took great care to minimize any damage or dirt coming into the house. This was really important, since they had to access the crawl space through a fairly long run from the garage, thru the laundry room, a hallway, the master bedroom, the master bath, and finally to the crawl space entrance in the master closet. The only nit was the 7th day of work when the crew only had four hours of work left. Bodine management called the crew away to handle an "emergency", and they really mystified us -- still does. Aside from that Bodine Construction and their employees provided excellent service at a very fair price, especially considering everything they had to do. I highly recommend this company to anyone who has a home with drainage issues.

Steve Bodine came twice when we needed him most: after our gutter down sport failed and flooded our basement. He was able to quickly diagnose and and gave us an excellent "tutorial" in how water damage works. He came the second time to inspect a moisture issue in the existing chimney. We did not wind up needing to use his actual construction services as the fixes he recommended were able to be addressed by out regular contractor and/or ourselves. We cannot tell you how much we appreciate not only his sound advice but his professional manner and "blessing" to have our own contractor do the work- so many companies in this day and age tell you that you need more repair or service then you do. Given this, if we ever have a more serious water leak issue, we will not hesitate to call. (Not that we want water damage!) Thank you, Steve! P.S. moved into a house with a broken driveway drainage. out of the 4 quotes i got, Steve's was the most detail and comprehensive. Steve got on a call with me over the weekend when i had follow up questions on the work description. he was patience and thorough in his explanation including follow up pictures of how the end state would look. the crew showed up timely and were professional. they cleaned up after the end of each day. reason for the B in punctuality was when the concrete finish was delayed i was not notified. I reached out to find out what the plan was and it took 2 days to figure out the delay and the plan. they finished the job one day late which is not a big deal for me but it is room for improvement. overall, I will recommend and I will use them again. happy with the project.

Bodine did a hard job professionally and perfectly. No more water or bad foundation. It was a complex job and included many surprises (neighbor's oil tank leaking onto my property) and holes and cracks in the foundation. They had to do a lot of digging and redigging and cutting concrete and digging under trees and paths and avoiding killing plants. They were expensive but did things right and perfectly. In the long run, they were the right choice.

Originally came to our house to repair and inspect our two pumps when we moved in, came back on a rainy Saturday to do emergency work two years later when drain pipe was plugged up, replaced one pump. Came back recently to run a second pipe to prevent future problems. Our go to team for all sump pump work.

They were on time professional and explained the problems well. Unfortunately for the company they were about 5000 dollars more expensive than the company I eventually went with. They did a nice job on the diagnosis part but were way to expensive compared to an alternate bidder who did a great job as well. So no work to rectify the problem was done.

This is a pump that sits in a rain/run off catch basin on site for a multi-unit building. The person came out on two separate occasions. The first occasion the person tried to see if he could fix at no charge. A couple weeks later the pump started acting up again so I had him come out and do the replacement. He was very professional, patient, was definitely not there to make a quick buck. He really wanted to fix it the first time, free of charge. Completely trustworthy (his name was Jim Coolbaugh).

We selected the inside patching option and the workers arrived on time to start the work. I had removed the drywall to expose the area where the leak was and they helped expand the area to give better access. They made sure that any wall studs removed were not load bearing before moving them. They chiseled out the crack and noticed the area had been patched before. Since I am the original owner of the house, it means the area had been patched by the builder before I moved in. The work was being done on the third day of rain so it was easy to see where the leak was. As they patched the leak, the water would move up and leak at a higher spot. They continued to work upward until they reached the top of the crack. They let that layer of cement cure, then came back for a second layer in spots that were still showing dampness. The final time they returned they put a layer of cement and binder over the whole area to seal everything. I was impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to return to verify everything was complete. They were very careful to make sure everything was kept clean and any debris was cleaned before they left. I would recommend Bodine for any foundation repair.

From the very beginning I had a great experience with this company. I received professional and prompt confirmations (voice and email) of the estimate appointment and prior to Steve's arrival received a courtesy call that he would be late by 10 min due to traffic. Steve spent a good deal of time evaluating my entire home, answered all my questions and gave his opinion about which services would be most beneficial and economical for our house. He advised against utilizing his services and recommended prioritizing other home repairs to address the problem. He seemed knowledgeable and experienced. Following the appointment, he promptly and courteously responded to follow up questions and emails. When it is time to have drain work done, we will definitely be calling Steve back and recommend him highly.

Steve arrived on time and spent more than 90 minutes assessing the problem. He went on the roof, recreated heavy rains with our house in the downspout and pointed out several areas of patch work that were apparently done incorrectly. After a thorough exterior and interior inspection he was able to show me exactly where the water was coming (even recreating it with a house) from and outlined a plan of attack for us in getting the situation under control. As it turns out this isn't a problem his company would remedy (as we need to replace a sliding glass door) and he still did not charge me a cent for his time. He was honest and professional and it was very refreshing.

The work went fine. When finished, they matched the texture of the new section of sidewalk to the old, The finish looks great! I highly recommend this company,
