Description of Work: Twin City did an excellent job of painting our house. I have recommended them to anybody and everybody. We would definitely use them again. They did a terrific job of prep, as some corners of the higher levels needed repair before they could be repainted. The color matching was excellent. The only complaint I have is minor and has nothing to do with the quality of the job, and that was that they once parked in front of our trash can on collection day, which meant that we didn't get our trash picked up that week. There was plenty of street parking. And on another occasion, the paint matcher totally forgot our appointment; I had to call her to reschedule. But, as I say, these are minor things and had no effect on the final product whatsoever. Our house looks great.

Description of Work: Company asked for two thirds of payment for a down payment. Did one day of prep for painting on the exterior of my house - job incomplete and inadequate - no one came to supervise/ check on the work as I was told would happen - Insisted that I chose a lighter color than I wanted because they thought it would cover better, even after I had checked with the paint store to see if I could bring the paint in to have more pigmentt added and was willing to do it on my own. Twin City only does one coat of paint. After I notified them that I had terminated the contract they came back when I was not home to do some more inadequate prep work. They would not meet with oregon contractor resolution board for a site visit to mediate our dispute.

+ -1 moreI contacted Twin City Painting after hearing that they only do hand painting. Their rep came out to my house and provided a very detailed estimate of the service they would provide. Overall, I was very pleased with the entire experience. All of the items listed on the estimate were addressed exactly as stated, the painters worked very long hours, and maintained a clean work space. The main reason I hired this company, was the fact that they don't spray. If I was going to do the work myself, I wouldn't be caught dead using a sprayer.
Description of Work: The company washed my house, removed all of the bad paint, primed and caulked and hand painted everything.

+ -1 moreI WAS SURPRISED AT HOW CLEAN CUT THE GENTLEMEN WHO CAME TO DO THE WORK WERE. THEY LOOKED LIKE WELL-EDUCATED PEOPLE. THEY WERE CLEAN AND VERY COURTEOUS TO ME. THE JOB IS GOING ON NOW, AND THEY HAVEN'T LEFT ANY MESSES SO FAR.
Description of Work: THEY HAVE PRESSURE WASHED THE HOUSE AND DID EXTERIOR TRIM ON A THREE STORY CENTURY OLD HOUSE.

+ -1 moreVERY UN-PROFESSIONAL! IT WAS A BUNCH OF KIDS. DID NOT KNOW A THING ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY CAME ONE DAY AND POWER WASHED THE ENTIRE HOUSE, INCLUDING WHAT WE HAD JUST PAINTED, SO IT CAUSED CHIPPING IN NEWLY PAINTED SPOTS. GOT MY PATIO FURNITURE AND PLANTS DIRTY. WHAT A MESS!! PLUS THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE ALWAYS GOT THE MACHINE!
Description of Work: WE PAINTED THE WHOLE EXTERIOR OF OUR HOUSE AND HAD SOME SPOTS THAT WE OURSELVES WERE UNABLE TO REACH, SO WE HAD THEM DO THOSE SPOTS.
