I could not be more happy with my experience with Twin City painting! They are professional from start to finish. They have so many years of experience in this area it shows in their work and end product! The communication was great from top to bottom. I had LOTS of questions and they were all answered in great detail. The employees are clearly engaged and honest. The salesman/estimator, Seth, was fantastic and then the project manager, Ian, was just a pleasure to work with. Very detail oriented and always goes the extra mile. The painters were efficient, friendly and did a fantastic job. They kept a very clean job site. I can't find an area of the house I'm not pleased with. They paint the house by hand and have an amazing 7 year warranty! Painting by hand is more expensive than painting with sprayers, but the qualify, customer service and long warranty make it more than worth it! I will use this company in the future and recommend to all of my family/friends!

Twin City Painting was awesome. I suspect our house hadn't been painted in over 20 years. Ian and his crew did a fabulous job dealing with all the imperfections of our old home. They properly removed paint that needed to be removed and took all extra measures to make sure the house was prepped correctly. During the painting, I was most impressed by the fact they would actually make solid repairs to damaged wood rather than simply painting over potential trouble spots. The paint was applied by hand and we couldn't be more happy with the final result. It came out beautiful. Huge thumbs up, everyone I dealt with from Twin City was awesome to work with. I would definitely hire these good folks again. Special shout out to Sarah who is their color specialist. She made more than one trip to the house for color thoughts and suggestions. She steered us in the right direction and it wouldn't have turned out so great without her help. Thanks Twin City!

Very easy to work with and they take great care to do a quality job. I appreciated all the personalized help I got from Sarah in selecting paint colors and other design elements. And all the people doing the painting were friendly and communicated clearly about what they were doing. I am very happy with the results.

Excellent - painting was delayed a year due to extreme heat in 2017. They held the price; came out and redid the power wash at no additional charge. They provided a schedule and met it. Crew was courteous, professional and very hard working. At end of each day they reviewed what they had accomplished and described next day's schedule. They exceeded my expectations in every aspect?

The painters were on time every day, very courteous, did a great job of hand painting this very large & tall house. The neighbors were all impressed with the quality of work.

Some lack of communication regarding start date, but after that, everything was great. Young men who painted were proficient & polite. I was kept informed daily. And I love the results.

After getting 4 estimates from painting companies we decided to go with Twin City Painting. There estimate was $100 more than the other companies, but rather than spraying and rolling, Twin City Painting does it all by hand; rolls and brushes. And, their estimate included a color consultant From start to finish this organization was very professional. Seth, who came out to write up the estimate, was exact, and very precise in his explanations of how and why. The fellow (wish I could remember his name) who came out to power wash the house, was very thorough, and careful, in cleaning dirt off of the house; preparing it for the painting to come. My wife and I really appreciated Sarah, the color consultant, (which is included in the total price). I'm color blind, and my wife's color vision isn't as good as it used to be, so having Sarah work with us to select the colors was immensely helpful. When we called in to the office, Mark was always very helpful and friendly. He answered any questions we had and kept us appraised of the schedule. The crew that worked on our house, Connor, the crew chief, with Jordan and Weiss, were all very friendly, prompt, and professional. They took the time necessary to protect screens, the deck, shrubs and plants from having paint dripped on them. They did not rush through the job, but rather made sure they applied the paint accurately and in the right quantity. What I really liked the most about the process was, once the crew had completed their painting of the house, the very close inspection of their job. They walked slowly around the house more than once, inspecting it for drips, splashes, and any corrections that needed to be made in the application of paint. And they took the time necessary to clean the spots of paint which shouldn't be on windows, trim or siding. We are very glad we selected Twin City Painting for the work on our house! We recommend them to anyone. Definitely first rate.

I am very happy with them. The quality is so far so good. Professionalism is above average. They are very responsive. They have been very careful in their work. They make sure there is no paint scrapings left. So far, the painting looks really good.

The crew was prompt and communicated well throughout the whole process. They solved problems as they came up, and were totally professional.

Very professional from start to finish even when the weather wasn't cooperating

The entire process was professional; from the bid process, to paint selection, to work performance. While they started a week later than originally scheduled, they kept me informed on the timing. When work started, the crew was always on time and worked diligently the entire time. The work was performed in a quality fashion. My punch list after completion was short as they were proactive in correcting issues as they arose.

We were very impressed with the professionalism of the crew and all staff at Twin City. From the quote to the final sign off, everyone was great to work with. We especially enjoyed the professionalism of the crew and crew manager, John. The team listened to all of our questions, provided recommendations and followed through on every item. Price was the mid-point of the three "A" rated vendors. In the end, we chose Twin City because of the good feedback from our multiple neighbors who have used them. We are very pleased with the result.

Dealing with Twin City Painting was a pleasure in every way. Yes, they cost more, but I felt it was worth it to get the hand-painted attention to detail and a 7-year warranty. We are continuing to live here, so it makes sense to pay a little more for a job that will last twice as long. The first step was a complete low-power wash and hand scrub of the whole house. That was given plenty of time to dry, then the first team showed up and spent a full day scraping and peeling. At the end of each day we did a complete walk-around to see what was accomplished. The site supervisor had a lengthy checklist and after each milestone I was asked to initial that I was satisfied with the work so far. I felt this was an outstanding way to make sure all the details were taken care of. Speaking of details, on request they painted the outside edge of the window casing in the trim color instead of the siding color. With the uneven edge made by cedar shingle siding, this takes a lot of skill. It cost extra, but with a sharp contrast in the colors it really makes the windows and Tudor trim “pop”. After a couple days they were able to bring in a second three-painter team and the house was finished in five workdays total. The workers, who are all employees, not subs, were all quiet, courteous, and hard-working. The site supervisor, Taylor, was constantly paying attention and showing workers the best techniques. If you live in a nice neighborhood and have a significant investment in your home, you definitely should talk to Twin City Painting about making your house look outstanding.

From the initial consultation to the final walk through upon completion, Twin City painting was an excellent company to work with. They hand painted the entire house and trim and did an excellent job! Their frequent and clear communication at each stage of the job was very professional and appreciated. Sarah, the color consultant, made sure that each question was answered and color selections were exact. The painting team arrived promptly each day, were efficient and unobtrusive and cleaned up before leaving each day. Ian supervised the project and went above my expectations with the finishing work! Hand painting is more expensive and takes a bit longer but I would choose Twin City Painting to repaint my house again!

Twin City Painting did an excellent job repainting our home and provided wonderful customer service. Our house was previously hand-painted which lasted about 10 years, so we knew we wanted it to be hand-painted again. After we signed the contract, Sarah, the Color Consultant, helped us choose the colors for the house, doors, and shutters. She was very knowledgeable and painted samples on different parts of the house to make sure were satisfied with our choices. Weather caused a couple of delays, but we were always kept advised of their schedule. Communication was never an issue. The crew was professional and personable, and we felt very comfortable with the quality of their work; they never cut corners. Our neighbors even commented on what a great job they were doing. We wanted to upgrade our shutters and find a way to easily remove them for future repainting. We finally found a system that would work with our lap siding, in which the hardware is attached to both the house and the shutters, enabling easy removal and providing proper airflow to prevent wood rot. However, this involved very precise measuring to insure symmetrical placement of the shutters. Ian went above and beyond installing this system. He worked diligently to make sure we were happy. It is important to note that the installation of this system was not included in our original bid. We contacted the company and told them, we expected to pay for the extra time (at least two and a half days, if not more) Ian spent installing the shutters. We were told it was not necessary - even though we insisted! Speechless. Twin City Painting is a great company to work with - you won't be disappointed.

They under estimated the amount of paint and the preparation involved. We went from a really dark color to a very light color and the darker color is bleeding through in areas. They missed spots, painted boards that should have been replaced. Our deck is peeling and bubbling after a year. We have a huge mildew problem now in areas, some of the paint cans say mildew resistent and some don't. I am not sure it they got a cheaper paint or what happened. They were late everyday, backed into our electrical box and the one guy was trying to tell me that they don't paint between the boards on the deck. It was the worst experience ever and a lot of money. There is a warranty and I am debating if I even want to deal with them or just fix it myself.

I hired Twin City Painting because I wanted my house hand brushed. No other painter in my area offered hand painting. The house looks beautiful and I'm happy I chose this company. They did a great job!

Power wash crew was unaware that contract stated they were to dry windows as they went. They were unprepared to do so, but willingly did after I told them they were suppose to (an item specific to my contract because of high silica well water). I supplied paper towels. Power wash crew was unaware that the stain product we were using specifically said not to use bleach in the wash as it will cause adherence and quality problems with the stain. They used bleach. Painters were young and inexperienced. There were problems with quality of application. There were drips, areas with too much stain, areas with too little. There was stain on light fixtures, metal railings, and foundation. There were areas that had no stain applied at all. Part of the bid including sanding posts that previously had an incorrect product on them. The crew was inexperienced at sanding, one of them saying, "I have never sanded before." This same crew member was seen multiple times hanging from high beams taking "selfies". The areas that needed sanding was done incompletely, and the finished job looks poor. There were problems with supervision. The crew boss was young and inexperienced. One day I was going to be gone for the day and asked for someone with more experience to come out and supervise and help. That did not happen. I was the only one there for quality control and I did not like that. I had to point out problems to them and ask them to fix them as the crew boss did not see them. On the last day, the crew dumped a solution that I guess was solvent, paint and stain mix on my asphalt driveway. It left a huge messy stain, which appeared to be corrosive as the asphalt became soft and chippy and cracked there. I told the supervisor and he said someone could come out and power wash it. I did not allow this as it would have further damaged the asphalt. It was a stressful 2 weeks and I would never hire this company again. And, if there are good reviews for this company be aware that you will not get the same crew. The painters I had were very young, all around 20 +/- a few years. They were doing a temporary summer job with little to no prior experience. There wasn't any understanding of pride of ownership or what a good job looked like. Just today, 2 1/2 months later I lightly hosed off my garage doors and the paint started dissolving. And, I have been picking up paint chips from their old, paint-laden tarps since they left. There have been chips from prior jobs ranging from half an inch to 10 inches strewn all over my property. This whole paint/stain job has been a disappointment. That being said, they were nice people, but lacked the experience and knowledge to do a nice job. Do not hire!

Overall the job went well, and I was happy with the paint job on the trim. There was a problem with my front door. I had initially made the decision not to paint the front door, so that was not included in the contract. But during the power-washing (prior to painting) some paint on the front door was blasted off by the high-pressure wash, and I still need to paint the door myself. And even though they used drop clothes to cover my front and back porch, somehow I ended up with small paint splatters. Initially I thought I could merely wash/scrub the splatters off, but I discovered acrylic paint doesn't come off that way, and I spent hours with a razor blade cleaning the splatters off my front porch. I would still use this company again, but I would take measures myself to protect my porch. There aren't that many companies who hand paint or hand roll the paint, and as I didn't want the trim on my house spray painted (did that before and there are still tiny splatters on the vinyl siding), this company painted the trim in the manner I wanted it to be painted, and I am pleased with the job. I ended up thinking the price was a bit on the high side. At the same time I was having the trim painted on this (two-story) home, I was having another home completely hand-painted (including the siding), and the cost for the trim painting was only about $1,000 less than it cost me to have the other house completely painted (some of it the level of a two-story home).
