The job was fairly straightforward, and they accomplished it quickly and well. Minimal taping and masking were needed, since the house is being remodeled and the flooring and trim aren't installed yet. There were some tricky bits, like running Ralph Lauren Suede paint up into a new skylight box, but they made it look great. The crew came in over a few different days, and worked very quickly. The results look great, and I'd use them again.

This painter and crew were fabulous! They were professional, punctual and did an excellent job. He had great pricing too! This painter went above and beyond my expectations. He paid close attention to detail and insisted on doing only the best job. He really was interested in how we wanted the job done and was very patient with our color selections. We had lots of questions and the way he answered you could tell that he knows his business. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a truly professional painter!

He didn't call me when he was supposed to, and I am having problems scheduling it.

Manuel has been responsive to my calls, but the job required several calls to return and complete the job to my satisfaction. He clearly wants to work until the job is done and the customer is happy, and I appreciate this. They missed some places that needed caulking and applied the paint too sparingly in one spot, but returned to fix this, and to replace some shingles that had been discolored by trim paint. They worked quickly, and did a great job cleaning up. Their price to paint our 1700 square foot house was very competitive.

I mulled over writing a review for the past week, and I wasn't going to but I feel this company did not deliver on its promise. I purchased 40 hours of painting for $1149.00, it was a "Deal", that normally cost $2,000.00. Well, the power washing took approximately 3.0 hours. The job of painting was originally scheduled for10/4/2013 but, Mr. Valdez called me the morning of the 26th of Sept. and asked if I had the paint (this was just before 8 am, as I had told him that I was getting the paint on Thurs. 9/26/13 this was Wed. evening the 25th after the power washing was completed. Mr. Valdez stated that his painters had time to paint my home Thurs., when I asked about what time, it was to be around 1000 am. I went and purchased the 5 gallons of white, 1 quart of burgundy, and 1 gallon of gray paint. 1000 am came and went, it was after 100 pm 9/26/2013 when the painters showed up, dropped off by Mr. Valdez. The painters were painting for approximately 6.5 hours each. It was dark, and they could no longer paint. I had also requested to have painted the areas under the eaves in the back of the house, as they appeared to be in need of paint. One of the painters did start to paint but it became too dark to continue. I had purchased a gallon of the color, as I was told that would be the amount needed. Mr. Valdez arrived to pick up the painters about 815 pm, it had been dark for quite sometime, and painting ceased when it was dark. Mr. Valdez told me that the areas in the eaves were just dirty, and didn't really need painting as the power washing solved the problem. I paid over $30.00 dollars for that gallon of paint. I provided the paint. The way I figure I am still due about 20 plus hours of painting, at 6.5 hrs time 2 painters = 13 hours, and add 3.0 hours for power washing it's still not anywhere near 40 hours of painting. There were paint splatters, and these were not cleaned up, (how could they be? it was pitch dark!). I did ask Mr. Valdez about painting the entire exterior of the house, and he told me that it would be an extra $2,000 dollars, above the $1,149.00. I still am owed painting hours of more than 20 hours, I would not recommend this painting company. If something seems to good to be true it generally is, fool me once, and I don't do repeat business. Nor recommend to friends and family.

Manuel and his assistant are very easy to work with and very hard working. We usually do our own painting but didn't have the strength to do this job. And we wanted straight lines between ceiling and wall. We are having other work done and Manuel helpfully scheduled the painting between the other contractors work. He kept the work area clean. He even added an extra hallway and kitchen walls which we were going to paint later. It isn't easy to hire someone to do work we think we can do ourselves but so glad we did. The ceiling and walls look great and the lines are straight! We highly recommend this provider.

They were great! Did an amazing job. I was so happy.

We recently had our chimneys re-sided and they needed to be painted to match the remainder of the house. Manuel did a great job! He quoted a reasonable price and completed the work in a day! Very happy with the results.

Manuel responded quickly to my request for an estimate and was able to fit us into his schedule immediately after we had new siding installed. He recommended using Sherwin Williams paint that has a 25 year warranty. His estimate was thorough and similar in price to other bids we received. He finished the bulk of the painting in 2 days then touched up and painted the doors on a third day. Manuel has an eye for detail, works very fast, and is easy to work with. I highly recommend him.

Bid was comparable with other painting companies, however they came well-recommended by another construction company. Painters are a husband & wife team. They do good work, complete the job quickly, are pleasant and clean up after themselves. My bit of advice is advice to potential customers is to make sure that everything is in writing and well-communicated. I would hire them again, based on their workmanship, but would be more careful in communicating exactly what I wanted done.

I want to give the highest recommendation to Manuel, and his company, Los Angeles Painting. Manuel offered a great price and got the job done quickly and to the highest standard. I could not be happier with the job. The used the best paint and left the job completely clean. I had other estimates but Manuel's bid was more competitive. He showed up on time and worked hard while he was there. I give Los Angeles Painting a 5 star rating for a job well done. Thanks Manuel!
