We were just having trouble communicating with the company and I have just decided to go a different route. We were having trouble corrdinating a time and date and then they didn't show up for an appointment that I thought was scheduled for yesterday. Their emails to me were confusing to read and very difficult to understand.

They promptly replied to all my emails and were pleasant/professional. We elected to roll all the interior painting into a contract with a general contractor handling our remodel.

They called me promptly to schedule, but I have found someone else who can do the work, so I have cancelled the Deal.

Initial communication good. After a meeting we determined that the service didn't meet our needs

He came out to look at the job of painting the trim on the exterior of my home. He wanted to tell me that it was 4 hours for each man. I showed him the printed Big Deal that it was 8 labor hours each. He danced around the subject and said they wouldnt be able to do it in a day anyways. I asked for an estimate on the work then but never got one. I dont feel comfortable with this company and am requesting a refund.

The gang did a great job. They did misjudge how much paint was actually needed and needed to go back for more. They also missed some spots through various cracks in the siding that we needed to touch up, but for the value of what we paid Manuel and his team did an excellent job. I suggest conversations through texting rather then phone as it's very difficult to understand his English, but a very nice crew that transformed our house! Thank you again Manuel!

Amazing, they painted the entire home in a day, including the trim. Exceptionally friendly and clean. I highly recommend them.

I called Manuel for an estimate and he came out on the same day. He showed up right on time (a few minutes early, actually) and quoted significantly less than other contractors. He provided a clear timeline for completing the job. We decided to go with Manuel because his price was so much lower than the competition. Given the cost, we were expecting delays, surprise charges, and/or low quality work. I'm very happy to say that we got none of those things. Manuel and his team completed the job exactly when he said they would for the exact price we were quoted ahead of time. Overall, the quality was good. There were a few things that needed to be fixed after the job was done (some missed spots, paint drips, bad lines), but Manuel fixed them on the spot without hesitation. Overall, I am very happy with our decision to use Los Angeles Painting.

Manuel was very quick in responding to our emails, text and phone calls. He had a team of 4, that worked very hard and quickly. He did his best in accommodating our schedule and needs. He met us for the final walk-thru and came back to finish an area that was missed or needed correcting. They helped us a lot and we appreciate the professionalism and care they take with their work.

Manuel and his team wiped out evidence of 3 kids and 3 dogs worth of dents, scratches, dings, plus quite a few nail pops, and all evidence of my feeble attempts to patch those areas...they made the walls flawless, then painted the entire interior to include walls and ceilings. They did such a great job, and left me wondering why we waited until we were moving out to do it. They were very flexible with our tight schedule, and they were friendly and professional. They did such a great job on the interior, that we hired them to do the exterior as well, to include caulking the windows, cleaning the gutters, and painting the exterior. We would definitely use them again.

It was very difficult to schedule the work, and once scheduled dates kept changing or it was unclear when the work would be finished. I initially communicated a timeline and the reasoning (I was selling the house) which was ignored - and they were surprised when i told them I was gone. The quality of the work was ok, and was done very fast but with no real prep. Despite the coupon saying basic materials were provided they were not and I ended up paying for these. The biggest issue was that they got pain on brand new vinyl flooring, carpet and decking - which required the new carpet to be replaced and professional cleaning of the new deck and vinyl. Despite asking to make good no details of insurance etc were provided and I ended up having to pay out of pocket.

Simply efficient, quick and painless with no "GOTCHA"'s attached. What he quoted was what it was and the quality, service, and value was excellent. My, like most of ours, time is valuable and I look for contracted services with no problems, actually that is one of my pre-requisites and he fit the bill. Will use definitely use his services again.

I purchased a coupon for the work. The vendor came to my house and gave me a bid. I seemed high so I checked around and got two other bids. They all came in at the same price but one was going to put three coats of finish down and replace boards so I went with the other bid.

Manuel responded quickly via email to scheduled a date/time for the estimate. He came and scheduled us quickly within a week to perform the work. The cost is very reasonable and the workmanship is good. He finished within 2 days within estimate. He didn't mask well so a bit of paint over run at small places. Overall, it was a good experience and we are satisfied with the result.

They are more for exterior painting not interior painting. Lots of runs. Some areas not covered.

I highly recommend Manuel and Los Angeles Painting. We scoped the job earlier this year and agreed to work on it as weather permitted. While it took a few months to find enough suitable days for exterior painting (being the middle of winter and all) Manuel worked quickly and efficiently on the days he could be here. He even came in on a Sunday to wrap it up. Manuel was very responsive to mail, often responding in the evenings or weekends. He's personable and very easy to work with. We discussed my plans out the beginning and he had several great suggestions that I took. Even on simple jobs there's always room to do things better and Manuel always found ways to improve the plan. Pricing was very fair and transparent. I bought a Big Deal through Angie's List and Manuel was very clear and up front on extra costs (like taxes and supplies). He organized his time very well and finished on schedule and on budget. Best of all the job was done very well. The house looks so much better thanks to Manuel's hard work. We'll definitely hire him again for future painting jobs.

Lots of left over paint; poor at estimating. Early communication poor but got better.

It was for my son's condo and he was very pleased. He said they were great. They were professional and very good. I was impressed that they got back to us right away and they were eager to do the work. However, there was an issue with their language but it was not their fault. They were very easy to understand and very accommodating. They were outstanding and punctual. They came when they said they will and they did a nice job.

Manuel and crew were polite, neat and efficient. Stayed within estimate. Would definitely recommend Los Angeles Painting.

Angie's Deal specified the room had to be all of one color. I had 2 colors and they accepted it with grace. One room was a touch-up only, where I was unable (myself) to make a straight line between the 2 colors and the ceiling edge, too. The other had an accent wall. The third was one color, but had many areas difficult to reach. Yes, I would hire them (husband and wife) again. Three caveats: 1) They did not putty any picture or other holes. 2) It was very difficult (for me) to understand Manuel on the phone. In person, no problem. 3) Nothing - no furniture or anything else - was put back or offered to be put back; even on the 2nd day when paint was dry. All the furniture was just left in the middle of the room. Maybe because I had put it there before their arrival to help out. I did have the rooms 90% ready for them - only a very few items left for them to move. I know this gave them more time to paint. Yes, I'd hire them again - but get them to putty first & help move the furniture back!

They said what they would do and they did it. It was so painless on my part and the quality is excellent.

I liked them very much. He called right back and made time in his day to come right over. He was very efficient. We liked how he interacted with us and we were very comfortable with him.

The misunderstandings occurred on both sides. I did not realize that I would be contacted on Angie's List and waited for a phone call. After backtracking I was able to contact Manuel on the list. We set up a time. He called about 15 minutes early and said he was at my door. I woke my husband and went to the door and found no one. I called him and he was at an address 40 minutes away, but said he was on his way. Three hours later I called and he said he was still on his way, but was now 15 miles past us the other direction. He finally arrived on our doorstep in the dark and in the middle of dinner. My husband said that he did not want the coupon.
