"The project started 10/2021 and ended sometime in 2/2022. This project took long3r than anticipated. I had to check in multiple times to see if anyone would be working on the project that day. The sub contractors used for electrical and plumbing cut corners in places causing issues and failures in 2024. The electrician tapped into existing wires, over loading the breaker and the water tank connections were not threaded and sealed correctly causing a leak with the expansion tank. Luckily I found good people to do the work and get it done right."

Nate worked with me to design, build and finish my 12x16 shed from start to finish. The process was efficient, and the shed is beautiful. Honestly, what I call a shed, would probably classify as a garage, had we installed a garage door, but that was not what I needed at the time. While working with Nate, I quickly recognized he could be trusted to find a solution to any problem. Next he helped me plan and built a matching railing for my home’s staircase, after I had previously removed an old rotting one. Again, this process was quick easy and friendly. "Groundworks were contracted to encapsulate the crawl space, with a dehumidifier, intellijacks & sump pump. The inspector showed us pictures & videos of what the work would look like on completion, & explained how each solution would be installed. They tried to charge me more for vent covers until I showed them the contract covering this part. The foreman told me there was a reset button for the sump pump to be installed on an exterior wall, but they did not install it, instead said they would put in a service order. I haven’t heard anything about this issue yet. When they installed the moister barrier, they excluded the cement pads I was told it cost extra to have them covered. When I signed the contract, I was never told there would be extra charges for vent covers or cement pads to be covered. The contract I signed covered a complete encapsulation, but this is not what I got. This is a bait & switch. I would not recommend Groundworks."
