Description of Work: Installed a new exhaust fan in the ceiling of my master bathroom. It became a complicated job since the fan did not fit well. The workman did a good job on a complicated problem, but the labor estimate was more than what I was told in advance. The work was not low cost but was well done. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Put crown molding in my bathroom, fixed a loose faucet and repaired/replaced a fence. Cleaned gutter and removed moss from my roof Great job. He's also repairing some minor roof issues. I have and will continue to use him in the future.

Description of Work: I spoke to Calvin about building an insert for the exhaust unit of the portable air conditioner for my sliding glass door. We talked about how best to do it and he said he had a job Seattle and that I should send him my info through Angie's List and he would contact me and let me know when he could stop by to take measurements. |I sent the information as he requested but never heard from him again.

Description of Work: They took an old light fixture down and put a new one up. They also took an old porch lamp down and put a new one up. Also fixed a bathroom sliding door that we had not been able to open or shut for years. The handyman, Kirk, was very professional and nice. He took all the old fixtures with him as I asked. We will definitely use this company again!

+ -1 moreThe home we recently purchased in the historic district of Snohomish had a back door that was warped which caused it not to seal or latch properly. Because of the age of the home and with my limited experience in hanging a door I decided to obtain the services of a handyman to take the lead and I could learn from his experience. I contacted Calvin of Handymen of Everett on the day before Thanksgiving and asked if I purchased a door could he come out on the day after Thanksgiving and help me install it. Surprisingly he said that would work for him as I expected I was asking too much. Calvin came out mid-morning and assessed the situation and sent me to the local lumber store for some supplies. While I was gone he started cutting out the old door and frame and found that the door was leaking for some time and the threshold and supporting boards were rotted. He again assessed what was needed and came to the lumber store and found me to change what was needed. Once back onsite he installed the door while I watched and he was kind enough to point out what he was doing and why he was doing it. At one point he didn?t like the way the door fitting with regard to the flooring in the house so he pulled the door and frame back out and installed another board under the threshold to raise it up. Overall we were very pleased with the work Calvin did and it was a good think he was there when the water leak was discovered as I would have been lost at that point! For him to come out on what is normally a long holiday weekend was also great as I could be there to learn from his experience. Calvin has a vast array of knowledge in the home repair and construction trades and we would highly recommend him for your projects.
