In case of the furnace installation. We had an estimate, asked them to perform the work. They discovered the need for additional cold air ducting and installed it with no additional costs to us. Most recently, we had therm service the furnace, and they corrected a manufacturing defect without additional costs. In the case of the fireplace insert, we discussed a number of options and selected that was considered most optimal. They came out, and installed the fireplace in less than one day. Everything works as promised. We had them install two and quot;solar-tubesand quot; on one occasion. The price was reasonable. The installers asked if we had any special requests in terms of the installation, and performed in accordance with our wishes. We had them install a third and quot;solar-tube on a second occasion. Again the installation was professional in every respect.

Sunset Air was pretty good. Not as informative as other companies I received quotes from. They were supposed to call me before they came. They just showed up.

Excellent service person from Shelton office of Sunset Air - knew all about the system and worked quickly but professionally. Very impressed; gave us options and information as new homeowners in the area.

I spent about $200 on the job. They are very reliable, very well established, and reputable. They provide very good quality. The workers are good. Everything is fine. I will use them in the future.

We were very pleased with them. We have recommended them to our neighbor who was also happy with them. They were very professional and easy to work with. They were very competent. Both the manufacturer and energy companies were giving rebates and there was a tax credit. The front entry door was $3,000 and the total was around $16,000 before all the rebates. They were made locally and we were very pleased.

They are a very popular company here, and their service seems to work for me. I don't know how their price would compare with others. I would use them again in the future.

I have used them for about 10 or 12 years. I like them and they are close by. They have given me some sort of a discount even though I didn't pay for the service that they have. They have a service where you pay so much. They don't make me pay that because I have been their customer continuously.

The assigned technician Toby, came to the house shortly past noon and was here until just before 2:30 PM. We were called half an hour prior to his arrival, as promised. Toby started by having me explain in detail what the problems were with the system. Then I showed him the electric air handler/furnace in the basement and the thermostat. Toby kept me present through the whole process, explaining what he was doing, what his gauges indicated and why he drew the conclusions he did. He was very clear and encouraged questions. The noises were probably due to several leaking valves inside the heat pump. These are not critical faults, although they indicate wear and tear, and the unit will very likely last through the coming heating season, but it is over 18 years old and nearing the end of its expected service life. If it should fail the electric furnace can still heat the house until we can have repairs or replacement done. The overshooting of set temp may be due to a short circuit or a faulty thermostat. Toby was unable to get the system to repeat that problem, but found and fixed one short circuit and advised me how I could test the next time it overshoots to determine if it's a thermostat problem or yet another short. I concluded we would run the system another year and replace it next summer. Toby also gave me information about how to compare units when I call for bids next summer and what size unit our house needs. The office staff I dealt with to set up the diagnostic service were very polite and efficient. Toby was very professional, obviously knew his stuff and was very helpful. I felt the fee charged for this service was very reasonable and that we got good value for our dollar. One of the bids we get next summer will be from this firm.

The sales rep was on time, knowledgeable and very helpful. The only reason I chose not to go with this company was price. If I have the rest of the windows in the house replace I will definitely call them again for an estimate.

They are a reputable company in the area. They have done some work for me in the past.

They did a good job. The salesman has called a few times, and they are never pushy.

Sunset held a "window seminar" at the Milgard window factory which was very informative. Subsequently we visited and talked with many other window replacement companies but Sunset was by far the most helpful and informative. Once we agreed on price, it only took a matter of weeks for our windows to arrive and only two days to install. The installers were real pros. My wife and daughter (I was at work) said they were courteous, respectful and funny. The crew that worked on our house appeared to enjoy their work, did a superb job installing our windows and cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with our window installation and plan to call on Sunset for further work at our home in the future.

Previously described. The estimate was professional and done at the time of visit using laptop computer. They had examples of the window. The total cost was what they estimated; no other charges. The cost was below another bid by $1700 and about the same as another bid. We had previously use this company about eight years earlier for two separate jobs. One job was for large bedroom sliding glass door where there was no previous door. Other job was was for large kitchen window where there was no previous window. Both jobs were professionally done. No problems with either products or the installation in the eight years. Have not had to call them to fix or complete anything on all three jobs.

They were fine. They were professional.

Technician was here on time and performed all the required work in a professional maner. I was totally satisfied with the job completed.

I found them to be great. The installers were well trained, very responsive, friendly, and really seemed to want to do a good job.

Of course, when your A/C goes out it's always 95 degrees. I was amazed they came out the next day. They are great!

After moving into our new home we realized that we needed to replace the furnace and hot water heater. I contacted Sunset Air because I knew the VP of engineering and they had done a lot of commercial work. Steve Westall promptly returned my call and set up an in-home assessment. He took time to evaluate the home and understand our needs. The bid was delivered with 2 days. The prices very competitive. In the end I went with a different company. It came down to two very good furnace brands and I simply had to choose. I would definitely contact this company for my heating and cooling needs in the future.

During a pre-move trip, I contacted Sunset Air about installing a heat pump in our vacant house before we moved to Washington from another state. With only a week in town for me to coordinate details, it was imperative to have a contractor who responded quickly. Kelly responded very quickly and set up an appointment for the following day to give an estimate. After flying home, I decided to go ahead with the project. The folks at Sunset Air were more than willing to not only help me finalize the paperwork from long-distance, but to work with my property manager re: access to the unoccupied house. During a busy season, they were willing to schedule the heat pump installation to be completed before we arrived to move in. Part II: While the crew was at the house installing the heat pump, they became aware that the water heater was not working properly but cycling all of the time (even though no hot water was being used). They brought this problem to my attention, and because I had already planned to eventually put in a tankless water heater, I asked them to send a quote. Satisfied with the quote and happy that they agreed to install the new tankless water heater before the moving van pulled up, we authorized the work. ***It is significant to note that when the gas company sent our record of use, it showed that the gas utilization had been steadily increasing over the three months that the house had been unoccupied. The only appliance that was on during that time was the water heater. It was very obvious that there HAD been a big problem with the water heater when the guys told me about it. I am so thankful that they alerted me to the problem before I filled the garage with full moving boxes. The only part of the project(s) I was not happy about was the electrical sub-contractor. Their work did not pass inspection and required correction. I ended up working directly with them (not Sunset Air) to get the inspections repeated. Communicating with them was frustrating. (This is why I did not give Sunset Air all "A's.")

Fantastic! Matt came out in the morning and install both Solatubes, cleaned up and was very pleasant, polite and informative as well. We have to stop ourselves from reaching for a light switch whenever we enter these areas because it is so bright!

The installers came out early and spent most of the day removing and replacing from entry door. They were polite, efficient and worked hard. The door is beautiful and really changes the look of the house. Very pleased.

Ken came to my home along with another Sunset employee, James Bohlen to give me a bid on the furnace replacement. He was very polite and did not waste my time with a lot of sales jibber jabber. He listened to what I wanted, looked at the existing furnace and venting. He then gave me 3 recommendations, their high end product, mid range and economical. I asked him for his feedback and we went with the Coleman (mid range pricing) and have always wanted to add an air purifier to the heating for our home. We are very happy with the results.

The installer, Matt, and his crew were on time and very polite, efficient and worked very hard throughout the day and came back the second day to complete installing the remaining 2 rear windows and frame out and install a new front double entry door. Matt was concerned that the large picture window was different from what we had ordered. Sunset installed the 8' X 10' window anyway. Matt indicated Craig from Sunset would get back to us about the window. The coordinator for Sunset, Craig, indicated the request had been misinterpreted by the manufacturer and we would have the replacement installed at no additional charge. I became very obvious to us that Sunset values customer service. Our 30 year old home looks fresh and near new!

THEY JUST REPLACED A PIPE THAT VENTS THE CHIMNEY. WE HAVE HISTORICALLY DONE BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE A GREAT JOB FOR US, EVERY TIME WE USE THEM.

SUNSET AIR DID A VERY NICE JOB. THEY WERE VERY COMPETENT AND PROVIDED GREAT SERVICE TO US. PERSONNEL THAT CAME WERE VERY PERSONABLE AND ENJOYABLE TO HAVE.
