It went well the end result was hardware not software.

Gary was right on time for our appointment and he went to work on our Mac as soon as he arrived. He cleaned up unnecessary programs to allow the Mac to run faster. He also suggested that we purchase (not from him, but from an outside source) and install more RAM to improve the Mac's speed. The difference has been remarkable. Gary has also been helping us via email with another issue we are having. Very good service even after the appointment.

Gary arrived at the scheduled time and was ready to get to work. The job of the data transfer presented Gary with some definite challenges because of the age of my old computer. He did a lot of creative problem solving to get the job done, and now all my data is on the new computer as promised. Once the transfer was in progress there was down time while we waited. In that time he helped me with my iPhone and iPad and answered many questions I have long had about Mac computers. It was important to him that the time was all well spent, which I appreciated SO much. In that downtime I learned so much that I felt like I had just had a private class with him. His demeanor was so pleasant, and I felt that there was no "stupid" question - the sign of a very good teacher. Gary was very prompt and efficient. We went over my list of concerns and he got to work checking out the items and explaining what he was doing. His explanations were clear and understandable. I liked his ability to communicate in a friendly and helpful way.

Gary?s service is excellent! He was on time, wearing an Apple logo hat and shirt and with a business card. He completely reconfigured my ailing Macbook Pro, repairing all problems and installing the latest operating system while answering questions about other household electronics. Instead of coming back and charging me more, he wrapped things up with a phone call instructing me to make some minor adjustments. I appreciated his professional yet friendly and helpful demeanor as well as his consideration of time and cost. I will definitely call Gary again to troubleshoot any problems with electronics in our home.

Gary is very personable, he was thorough, his expertise was helpful and went beyond what was necessary to get my business computer back online.

The service was excellent. We delayed the service a little bit; it was just provided just a few weeks ago. He was great. He did not charge me more than the $89 Big Deal charge. My computer was just really outdated and needed some work. It was an Apple laptop computer. They were prompt, professional, and really helpful. They recommended some things. They did not push any other additional services and really just added a little extra value to the work. They made some suggestions to what I could do with my computer going forward. So, it was great. They provided quality work.

I didn't feel as though the technician was as knowledgeable as I expected, and it was somewhat difficult communicating the computer's issues to him.

As usual, Gary was punctual. We discussed the issues then he set to work resolving them. Gary is very professional and able to communicate clearly with those of us who are not overly tech savvy. He was here for about an hour and a half and when he left, our problems had been resolved. We did an email follow up a few days later and tweaked a few more things. Gary has always been available to resolve issues remotely when they lend themselves to such diagnosis and repair. We have been very pleased with his work and highly recommend him. We will not hesitate to contact him in the future with our technology issues.

We purchased the $89 Groupon offer for tech services and we feel it was money well spent! We were very pleased with the work Gary did on all of our devices. He explained what he was doing, as he was doing it, along with the reason WHY he was doing it. He confirmed what our son had told us earlier which was that our computer was on its last days and we should look to replace it sooner rather than later. Gary helped us with this as well. On his next visit, he'll refine our set-up of the new Mac and get us going on an external drive backup system. We are extremely pleased to have found a tech service provider who we feel is trustworthy, knowledgeable and efficient with his time.

Gary was great. He utilized his considerable knowledge and skill to make our systems run more smoothly. He was also very flexible and assisted us with a few problems that we brought up only on his visit. You always wish you had someone like Gary around to help with what seem like basic issues, but always end up being complicated. We're definitely going to hire him again in the future.

This is the third time that I have used Gary and as usual he was punctual to include a call-ahead phone call prior to his arrival. He unboxed the new computer, hooked up Wi-fi, external storage and all cables to get the new one running. He transitioned information from old to new and did several performance tests to make sure all information and files were to my satisfaction. He gave me a walk through of the new system and gave me several different pointers on the operation of the new MAC that I did not know before. He ensured my Wi-fi and printer were communicating as well. He explained all of the procedures he performed to ensure I had no questions or concerns while he did the work. In addition, he was very clear that I was to notify him if I encountered any problems after he left. He was professional both during the work and after to ensure my work space was left as neat as he had found it. Both my wife and I have been impressed with his professional expertise and guidance in helping us with our computer needs. I would HIGHLY recommend Gary with any computer, iPad, iPad or cell phone problem or issue.

This was the second time we've had Gary work on our equipment in the past two years. He is easy to schedule, but quite busy. Personable and patient, he is a good technician and teacher

Gary's phenomenal. We purchased the deal on Angie's List for a Mac tune up (for one hour). This Mac was a work computer for an older job and was loaded with gigs of email and files that we needed to have transferred to an external hard drive. The operating system also needed to be updated and many programs removed. Gary spent over two and a half hours working on it (updates, files transfers, etc.) and I honestly don't think he was going to ask us to pay for the additional time if we hadn't asked (he only charged us for one additional hour). He answered every single question we had and the Macbook is running like it hasn't in years. We will definitely be using Gary again in the future should the need arise.

The only bad news we got was that our son's phone was not reparable, but we kind of figured that. He was very patient, which was necessary because technology doesn't come easy to my 70-year-old husband. He can really mess up a perfectly good computer! :) Gary advised he get more memory, which he did and it made quite a difference. He got the 4 computers we wanted hooked up to our one printer. It's great to be able to print from anywhere! He showed us things on our router that we didn't know about, changed some things around for us and now our internet connection is much more stable. In short, Gary solved all of our computer problems in less than an hour and a half. We were very happy with his service and liked him very much as a person and as a professional. We will definitely be calling on him again.

Gary was fabulous. He showed up at my house right on time and we sat down together to go over my computer. He gave me a lot of pointers and helped me out with things unrelated to the speed of my hard drive, which was a problem. He freely offered suggestions on shortcuts, communication between devices, etc. When I decided to upgrade the hard drive in my computer Gary described very carefully which hard drive I should get and why. He visited my house two days later to pick up the computer since he had an appointment close-by. The hard drive was completely installed by the following afternoon and I picked it up at his house. The cost of the hard drive was what he said it would be, but his labor cost was much lower than I anticipated. He only charged me for the time he spent actually doing the work on the computer, not the time it took for my data to get transferred to the new hard drive. That was much appreciated. He said he was doing other things during that time and there was no need to charge me. I am grateful to have found Gary since I now feel comfortable going to him with questions and concerns. I am confident he will help me with any computer-related problem in the future. Thank you Gary.

Gary did an excellent job. He was not only thorough and professional, but he was punctual and happy to answer all my questions. I gave my old IMac to my nephew, and Gary answered many of his questions by phone without charging us anything. He is extremely knowledgeable. I will be using him for all my Apple needs from now on.

The provider was not able to do within my schedule due to his trip plans he never contacted me afterwards. He did indicate that he had a larger than expected response to his offer. Very disappointed especially since I am a small business owner as well. UPDATE I asked for my money back and the provider agreed only if I would remove my negative post and never post again. I then asked one more time and he has refused to return my money stating the "big Deal" was non refundable but he never contacted me as he assured me he would after returning from a trip. I am a 67 year old man all I want is my money back

Scheduling was easy with Gary. He was knowledgeable about my mac(s) and accessory devices, and knew what to do to get them humming happily again.

Gary could not have been more fabulous! He is now our go-to guy for any kinds of problems with our Internet or computers. Gary was a joy to work with and explained everything as he went along. He was amazingly efficient and incredibly knowledgeable!! We feel lucky to have found him.

The service was excellent. I really enjoyed him and I would definitely and do plan on using him again. That was my second time. I used the Big Deal pretty quickly within the month. There were no extra charges to the $89 Big Deal. Every time I use him, he goes above and beyond. I am extremely pleased with him. I like the way he explains everything that he is doing. He knows the computers inside and out, but at the same time, he is able to explain in simple terms for someone myself who is not as techno as he is where I can understand what he is doing. He always explains every step along the way that he is doing. He is very spot-on.

Every step of the way, Gary would go all out to provide me with the information needed to make well-considered decisions about what issues existed and what steps might be taken to get me what I needed. As a former systems analyst myself, he was able to skillfully go between deep technical descriptions of issues that I could understand from my prior experience and more layman-oriented descriptions of issues that were specific to the Mac. Unlike other tech services providers, he also could clearly convey - in realistic terms - what could and could not be done in my particular case. I've had other technicians in the past "promise the moon" only to come up way short. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gary to anyone needed technical assistance in the (often-vexing) world of Apple computers!
