Larry met me at my home, looked at the fence and within 15 minutes I had a bid. This was on a Wednesday. We discussed doing the work on the following Tuesday. I got home Friday night and found my new fence. It was such a pleasant surprise! The fence sections were at the back of the property and the guys who built the fence and removed the old pieces did a beautiful job and my yard was not disrupted or damaged by hauling materials back and forth.

They did what they said they would do. It wasn’t extra expensive. They cleaned up.

Very well; I would definitely use them again for another project.

Larry came out and was on time. He drew up some ideas which were very good, but I found something a little different that I liked better. I was given a finish date that was about 3 weeks out. Two weeks after the parts were ordered I called to see when they were installing. I was annoyed to find out that the parts were on back order and I hadn't been informed. When they arrived we had another delay with the painters sandblaster going out. But Larry called me to let me know. I was pleased that he listened to my complaint about the prior lack of communication. It took longer than originally planned to get the railing in, but it had nothing to do with Larry. The railing was installed and looks BEAUTIFUL. They did a great job and were very thoughtful about doing a great job.

Good experience from start to finish. Communication returned promptly, they scheduled the job quickly and got it done in a day. The fence looks great.

Very impressive original visit, prompt estimate, prompt service. Had to board two big dogs for 3 days while they removed old fence and put in new one (as planned). Worked around mature trees and shrubs without damaging them. Couldn't be happrier.

It just went flawlessly. They started on the start date. Finished on time. Returned to fix one small issue we had and the workers were totally respectful of our needs and we fellt it was as much thier goal to finish as it was ours. The weather was horrible and they suffered through it and just kept working when others I know would have left and waited for better weather.

I called Contour Fence and the owner, Larry Hendry, came out to look at the job. He listened carefully to my concerns about using the same materials that had gone into the original constuction, and told me just how it would be done. The bid, which was submitted by e-mail, was prompt and fair. Because this was partly an insurance claim, and my neighbor with whom I share the fence, was going to pay his half, there were slight delays on our part getting the proper authorization. Larry was very accommodating, sending statements for each side. He sent Evan and Patrick and they did the job in good time, even managing to stain the fence a color that was very close to the original stain, done more than ten years ago. I am very pleased with the result because the fence is sturdy, looks good, and Larry was really easy to communicate with. I will gladly recommend him and would use his company again.

I called last week for a estimate they outbid 4 others on Angies list. My dogs left the yard because of the old fence. I called Larry and asked when he could do the job. He said that he could fit it next week. It was done Thursday. It looks great and all of the hacks that I used over the years to contain the dogs are now history. Great job, give them a call if you need a fence.

I may be using them next month for a small job. He seemed very decent and was very quick to respond, he's very nearby, so I'm thinking of hiring him.

Larry Hendry arrived right on time, listened carefully to our wants and needs. He offered helpful suggestions and asked questions to make sure he was quoting us properly. He took time in his truck to finish the bid on the spot. In all the years I have owned homes and worked with contractors, I have never received a more professional, neat and down right beautifully presented quote as the one he wrote by hand in those few minutes! We got 3 other quotes, but based on price, product and professionalism, we chose Contour Fence. Larry came out a second time because after discussion, we wanted some changes in configuration and layout for the final fence. He ordered the materials and in about 2 weeks they came to install. We did a walk through and Patrick and Evan got to work. They hand dug the holes in our rocky soil without complaint. The finished fence is beautifully installed and precisely leveled on flat areas and contoured to match slopes wonderfully. We couldn't be happier. The neighbors have all come by to look and have been impressed by our pretty fence.

I scheduled an appointment to have an estimate for a fence in our backyard. I talked to Larry directly to schedule the appointment and he said he was able to come the next day. The next day my husband came home from work for the appointment so he could talk to Larry as well. Larry never showed up. I called his company number when he was late and the lady who answered said she would page his blackberry. I still have not heard anything back from him.

These guys did a wonderful job. Our fences look better than they ever did and enhance the appearance of our yard. The guys who did the work were friendly, efficient, good communicators and hard working. We will be using these guys in future for any fencing work we need done.

They did a marvelous job. I think I used all of the materials they have; I used wood, chain-link, and metal. I had a hard time getting anyone to come out so the best thing about this company is that they were willing to come out and do the jobs. Everything looks first rate to me and they only used a nice looking grade of cedar on the wood gate. They were very responsive and there was one point that I offered to pay them to remeasure things but they were willing to come out for no charge. They all showed up when they said they would and they called to let me know what was going on when it was raining. They knew what they were doing, they were efficient, and they were professional.

THERE ARE BETTER FENCING CONTRACTORS. 2 years later fence is still up. had to recall them to fix initial installation errors in 2009 and again this year (2010) very slow response time, months. THE MATERIALS, FENCE BOARDS LOOK LIKE CRAP. LIKE THEY PICKED THEM OUT OF THE PALLET RECYCLE TRASH PILE. the nailing is not spaced uniformly and most nails are bleeding black stains on the face of boards. right now there are several fence boards that are split and or cracking. the gate is sagging and difficult to pass through. Overall a crummy job for a simple fence.

We received three quotes for the work and Contour's bid was competitive with the others. They scheduled the work quickly and the installers were very friendly and professional. Through a communication glitch (which was partially my fault) the finished garden fence was about a foot higher than I had wanted. When I called Larry to see how much it would cost to lower the height he said they would take care of it because it was not built according to the plan, even when I offered to share the costs of the additional work. The crew was out the next working day to make the corrections. The fence looks great and I cannot say enough about the great customer service they provided. I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend them to others.

Larry came promptly and gave a reasonable quote with a detailed map. We employed them because their price is the most acceptable and Larry impressed us with his professionalism. They started the job as soon as they got our paper work, and the job was done in a total of two days. The materials are good and the job was done very properly. We are very satisfied with their job.

The owner, Larry, was very thorough, responsive and detail-oriented. I was very happy with the fence. There was a defect and they came back a couple of days to resolve the defect. I would use this company in the future.

This Company was professional and pleasant from the appointment for a bid estimate all the way through the completion of the project. The workers were experienced, hard working, and courteous. They used creative ways to address any unforseen issues, such as the downspout drain pipes, mounded dirt, and trees that had grown since the install of the original fence went in 25 years ago. They were on time and paid attention to detail. They did not hestiate to answer my questions as the project moved along. They cleaned their work area at the end of each day and stowed their tools out of the way. It was a pleasure doing business with this company.

Larry did a quick, professional job of answering questions about fence options and created a bid. Pat and Ben were the installers, they were very professional did a quick job with the fence posts and came back a week later to complete the fence. The whole team of three were very professional, easy to work with and the finished fence looks great.....

They did a great job installing new fencing, both cedar lattice and ranch rail. Their price was lower and included more work than other contractors' that I had bid on the job.

Very easy to work with. During the estimate, he quickly understood what we wanted and made some great suggestions regarding height and spacing of the fence boards. Also suggested the removable panel to provide easy access to the yard in cases when the gate may be too narrow. Scheduled the work promptly, arrived on time and completed all of the work on time and per expectations. Kept work area very clean. The finished fence is very attractive, provides privacy, and keeps our dogs in the yard. We are very satisfied.

They were on time and did an excellent job. No problems. They do good work.

Larry (the owner and estimator) came out and gave us a bid which we accepted. His crew came out and set the posts a few days later. A few days after that they came out to build the fence. It turned out that the design that we had in mind and that we had discussed with Larry was not actually what was in the bid. We discussed this with the foreman, who couldn't contact Larry because he was on vacation, but indicated that our preferred design would take a few hours extra work and that Larry would bill us the exact amount when he got back, so we told them to go ahead. When we got the bill, though, $590 (plus tax) had been added for the design change, which seemed out of line with what the foreman had told us. After long and tough negotiations with Larry, he agreed to reduce that to $170. The fence was well done overall, although the largest gate wouldn't open or close properly. After we pointed this out to Larry, he came and fixed it so that now it works fine. When we got the final bill, it turned out that Larry had made an addition error in the original bid; the bottom line he gave us (on which we had based our acceptance of his bid) was $300 less than the sum of the items. He wanted us to pay the extra $300, and after considerable negotiation we split the difference. Now we have a nice fence at a fair price, but it was a stressful process.
