AA Window and Gutter Cleaning

I changed to this particular contractor after reading many negative reviews on another contractro in Angie's list, so decided not to take a chance. When scheduling the person was very polite and answered all of my questions. They also called about a day or two before coming out to make sure of the time. The individual arrived on time early in the morning, which was a definite plus for me as I didn't have to wait because I work from home and could get on with what I needed to do. Very polite and cordial. He indicated the work would take about 4 hours, and it did. I also wanted to get my patio cleaned because it was filled with moss and he did an absolutely wonderful job on the patio. The roof looks much different Overall, I was pleased with the work.

They were great and everything was great. They were unique. The job was very professionally done. Their price was very reasonable. The workers were great. Josh was the technician who came out and he did a great job. They did a great job, they showed up on time and they had a great price. I would use their services again in the future.

Josiah was very careful to avoid blowing the large quantities of junk onto our delicate hydrangeas, which were just coming into bloom, and he did a good job of cleaning up the stuff that was blown off the roof. The advantages of blowing over pressure washing include 1) the stuff coming off the roof was a lot lighter and much less likely to damage our plantings around the house, 2) it was cheaper, and 3) there were no leaks. (Previous pressure washing leaked along the beam at the top of our cathedral ceiling because some water was inevitably directed upward into the roof vents.) The roof did not end up as clean-looking as after pressure washing, but I do believe that blowing air is less likely to reduce the life of the shakes than blasting with water. Since it was less expensive and less trauma for the roof, I feel I will be more likely to have the roof cleaned twice a year (necessary since we are shaded by large maples and cedars) instead of having it pressure washed once.

They came out and cleaned moss off the roof and cleaned the gutters. From the initial contact to the final service, each employeed I had contact with was exceptionally friendly and professional. The roof and gutters look great and I plan to have them come out this month to do my exterior windows. Highly recommend this company!

I selected this company for a number of reasons: They removed moss from the roof by agitating with a brush which I had read was a better method than pressure washing the roof. They were licensed, bonded and insured They had 25 years in the business They had great reviews from a number of websites including Angies List They had a Super Service Award on Angies List They had an A+ rating on BBB When I called to get a quote over the phone, I found the lady (Deb) to be very polite, knowledgeable and friendly. She answered all my questions and explained their services in detail to me. Brandon, who came to carry out the services, arrived within the timeframe given and called beforehand to let me know he was on his way. He was professional, polite and friendly. He immediately set up his equipment and worked on the roof for hours, brushing away at the moss. He seemed very thorough and hardworking. He then cleaned out the gutters and was very careful not to litter our lawn (which had just been seeded) with gutter debris. There was a lot of debris and moss around the sides of the house once the process was complete, but Brandon did a great job of clearing it up before he left. My one concern I have, is that as we have a fairly steep pitched roof, the zinc sulfate granules seemed to tumble off the roof very easily so I am not sure how effective that treatment will be. The cost was exactly as quoted over the phone and although I initially thought their quote was quite high, I now feel that I got great value for money and that their services were worth every cent. This is a quality company that impressed me from beginning to end. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Jeff did an outstanding job. Everything was exactly as expected. The moss on the roof was gone, the treatment to keep it off was applied, and the area beneath the roof was totally cleaned up. We've asked for a maintenance agreement. They rock.

The gutters were pretty dirty, but overall there was still a lot of build up left on after the cleaning. My wife and I have have been up on the roof doing some painting and noticed that there were a couple of areas that were not touched. I didn't expect to have them brand new after the cleaning, but I expected better result than what was provided.

After about 8 years, our cement side walk, driveway and pavers to the house entry looked sooty. Angie's list provided us with names of companies to pressure wash the soot away. AA Window and Gutter Cleaning seemed to have good recommendations and frequent jobs, so we went with them. They lived up to their reputation!

Excellent work, professional & super nice. The tech even filled up my dogs water dish before I got home! I will use them again and would recommend them to anyone!

They were easy to work with and professional. They showed up on time, did their job and cleaned up everything. It was a good experience. I will use them again in the future.

They were very friendly. They were up-front about the services they could provide. They were also up-front about what would and wouldn't be good for my place. Scheduling was easy. They were punctual.

I called to schedule a site visit for a bid. The estimator failed to show up at the scheduled time. I called to find out what happened and was informed that the estimator drove by my building 6 hours before our scheduled appoinment and determined the building was to tall for them to work on. I informed the company rep that I had a deck and adjacent ground level siding that I had wanted the bid for not the 2nd/3rd floors. He promised to call the estimator and then call me....They have yet to respond. They wasted my time waiting for the appointment and then failed to respond on the follow-up

They were awesome. They did the work at an exceptional price. I live quite a distance from them but there was no charge for extra gas or mileage to come here. They were on time. The young man who came out and did it was very professional and they were here for 5-6 hours. I hope to use them again next year.

They were very, very good. They gave us a $20 discount because of Angie’s List. They were the first to call us back, and we had called about three of them. They were very, very polite, nice, and very cooperative. We have dogs and one of them is not friendly. So we had to take the dog downstairs when they had to go upstairs. They did an excellent job. It looks like there is no window because it is so clear. They charged $67.50 per hour for one person. I thought it was a good price even though we didn't do any price comparison. We have an older house with a lot of windows including floor to ceiling windows. It was a very good experience. I would recommend them to others. They would probably be the first people we call if we need some work done again because we now know them. There were a few streaks that they couldn't get off, and they apologized for it. They tried really hard, but it just wouldn't come off. It wasn't their fault.

They came on time and performed the job. After they were gone about 4 weeks, I started noticing the green moss growing back in one shady area of the roof. I called them and they came and retreated it. They were responsive and professional. I'm happy and will have them come back to do gutters next. My roof is beautiful!

They did their work very well. I would use them again. I thought they were going to pressure wash the moss, but they blew it off. I guess pressure washing is not a good thing to do in that case. They did a good job with getting the moss off.

I'm always very happy with the results. The maintenance is scheduled for the same months every year. I never worry about the work getting done. From front office staff and the people who perform the cleaning on up to the owner, I've always had a pleasant and professional experience. Recommend them to anyone.

It went well but they took more time than originally planned, treating it two times instead of once. And they did not clean up the Skylights after they were finished.

He was on time and very professional. I had gotten a bid over the phone and he did a quick inspection before checking in with me to make sure the bid was still accurate. It was $100 more due to the moss on the garage roof, but I did not feel pressured to have him add this service on (although I did end up having him just do it along with everything else). I had to leave for work, but he was able to continue the job and finish it while I was away, which was very convenient. I would highly recommend AA.

AA Window was almost within the window of time in which they said they would arrive. They did the work pretty well with the exceptions being the landing areas on the stairs which seemed to still have some grime that did not come up from the pressure washing. The spigot caps were left off, and one of our hoses was left on the ground rather than put back up on the wheel. Also, I had to call them back to pressure wash the sidewalk which they missed initially, and they got most but not all of it when they came back the second time. However, these critiques are not deal killers in my book because on the whole they are small potatoes as they say. Just slightly annoying. The good side is that they were prompt with a quote, quick and on time with the appointment. THE MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL THOUGH IS THAT WHEN I CALLED BACK WITH AN ISSUE ABOUT THEIR THEY DID NOT TRY TO FINAGLE OUT OF IT. THEY TOLD WHEN THEY WOULD BE HERE AND THEY DID IT (minus the little bit of the sidewalk they missed). Lastly, the price was a little steep, but we have a 3 story building and those balconies they had to get to from outside. So all in all it's not as bad pricewise as it may at first seem. Their quote was less than another company that we were considering.

It was a big job, taking nearly 5 hours. The results are very good. We would use them again.
