AA Window and Gutter Cleaning

AA Window and Gutter Cleaning did a great job. They gave us an estimate, came on time, did the work quickly and efficiently and well and cleaned up after complete. He put a zinc coating on afterwards to keep moss from growing. We were very happy with the company and the man (cant remember his name!) that did the work. Will use them again, next year!

I love them. We had a little bit of price discrepancy. The owner made sure that I got the price that was quoted. He made sure of it and it was great. Overall the job they did was great. They were great. They show up on time and they stand by their quote. I’ve had everybody of them come twice. They did the rest of my gutters last year. When they run late, they call. They take their shoes off even if you tell them not to. They clean everything up. I did really like that. I made them bring the old magnet. I will use their services again in the future.

I noticed that there was visible moss on my roof, on the north side (my roof faces north / south). AA Window and Gutter Cleaning cleaned my neighbor's roof, and she spoke of them highly. I called them to setup the appointment. Over the phone, they gave me an estimate and setup an appointment for the cleaning. They also took my credit card number so I wouldn't have to be there during the cleaning. On the day of cleaning, my wife was home, and she talked with the worker (Dale) to ensure they wouldn't damage our landscaping. The cleaning went smoothly. Dale mentioned there was quite a bit of moss on the roof. I had a later conversation with Dale about our roof, to learn more about keeping it clean in the future. Overall, a very smooth experience.

Update 10-17-11: After submitting my prior report, the owner immediately called me the next day and apologized. He was professional, very cordial, outlined some of the missteps that had occurred and how they would like to make it right. I was very glad he had called and decided to give the company a second chance. Today Stephen came out and the work was successfully completed as I had originally hoped. The gutters looked great, the light trimming had been completed and the coating for the correct type of moss had been applied. Stephen also came back to the house later in the evening to help me clean up some of the branches, which was not part of the original deal - something I appreciated very much. He also explained to me what I need to do to keep the roof cleaning up to par in the future. I thought that Brett and the company really stepped up to the plate today to correct the situation very quickly. Most companies would not have done that. I will refer them and use them again in the future. Thank you Brett and AA Window and Gutter Cleaning for making it right! I am changing my rating to match the work that was completed today. ------------------------------------------------- I used this company due to the high referrals on Angies List. I was quoted twice, by both Brian & Deb of $330 to do roof and gutter cleaning and also light tree trimming around the gutter with my tree trimmer. The day of the cleaning, I had a friend meet the individual, who did show up promptly for the job. The roof cleaner advised my friend he refused to do the light tree trimming by the gutter because "their firm did not do this type of work.": When I came home, I was terribly disappointed with the service that had been done. The roof was a MESS, dark, dirty, streaks - it looked worse than it had been before. There was a piece of the roof shingles that had been damaged at the top of the roof. In addition, I had screens on top of all the gutters, and they had not been replaced - they were left in a pile in the back yard. I called the company and complained and spoke to Ryan. He confirmed my price of $330 was accurate, apologized for the tree trimming not being done as promised and we rescheduled for the same individual to come back out again. After further thought, since the roof was such a mess, I decided I did not want the firm to come back again as I didn't want anything else to happen to the roof. I spoke to Evan on 9-19-11 and he advised that they would adjust my billing and credit me something back for the poor quality work. Today I received my Visa statement and it was $30 higher than the original quote!!! The company billed me $360 instead of the $330 originally quoted. So, to recap: I did not get billed what was originally quoted The work originally quoted was not done The roof cleaning was done poorly I was promised a credit back and did not receive it. I've called this firm twice with no resolution. I have no choice but to file a disappointing report.

They were fantastic! My gutters look great and I totally forgot they were coming until I saw the invoice in the door. Then they followed up by email and phone to make sure I was satisfied. I'll be using them again for all my gutter needs.

The day after our roof and gutters were cleaned, my husband noticed a section that was missed so I called for them to come out and clean it. The person who took my call didn't believe me and kept telling me that they don't miss sections and that it would be weeks before someone could come out. Came home the next day and noticed a bunch of residue on the back deck and realized they came to clean the gutter without notifying us (thankfully no one was taking a shower). A courtesy call would have been appreciated.....overall bad experience and I would not recommend them to my neighbors and friends. Originally gave them a "C" rating. However, within a week, the owner gave us a call, apologized for the bad customer service and had our same technician come out and clean the outside of our windows as a goodwill gesture. I was pleased with the quick response of the owner and technician to make things right and would use them again in the future, therefore changing the overall rating to an "A"!

Jeff showed up promptly on time. He was very courteous and professional. We talked a little about our military backgrounds before he started work, which was pleasant and interesting. Very thorough cleaning done as promised. At the end of the moss removal, Jeff applied the treatment to remove the residual moss that remained after the wire brushing and air blowing. Residual moss was gone after the 30 days as stated by the company. Received a followup call to see how everything went, which was appreciated. Only caveat was a little of the moss blown off by the air hose got on the side of our house, but eventually fell off during subsequent rain storms. Overall, very satisfied with Jeff''s work, and with the company overall. Will definitely use AA Window and Gutter Cleaning in the future.

I contacted this company because of the good reviews and the award it had received. I sent out an email through their website requesting for an estimate, and no longer than 10 minutes after I sent it, I got a call back from Evan. He asked a couple of questions over the phone and right then and there I got an estimate and an appointment. The price quoted was the price I was charged for the work and I thought it was reasonable. I spoke with them on a Tuesday and they came over the next Monday at around 8:30 a.m. I was a bit concerned whether the weather (it was raining the previous night) would affect their work, but when I got home I looked at the result of their work and I couldn't be more satisfied. The roof was clear of moss, the gutters were free from debris so as around the house. Meaning to say, they cleaned up after their work. Overall, I am very pleased with the whole process

They did the roof cleaning and they did a tremendous job. They did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves as well. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Own 2 homes in same cul-de-sac. Quoted $250 + tax per home to clean moss from comp roofs, treat roofs, and clean gutters on single-level, 1300 SQ FT homes. Told company I would pay cash. in-advance of work performed if necessary. Was told that a credit card number was required at the time of scheduling the work, no matter how I intended to pay. I don't like using credit or leaving my card # with anyone, particularly with those I do not wish to use it. Maybe when I contact other cos. on AL, I will learn that they all require CC #s...not sure on that one yet.

Went great. Technician was professional, explained what results to expect from the treatment, worked quickly and efficiently.

I was originally a little put off when I made the appt. due to all the questions asked, but I can see they are a very organized company and realize how important customer service is. They provided great prompt courteous customer service, I will use them again.

They said the technician would arrived between 12 and 2. He showed up right at 12 and got to work. Very professional, explained in detail what he'd be doing. Worked until around 5 o'clock. Very good experience.

This is the first service I have used since joining Angie's list. This is the reason I joined! I have a Large home and cannot get up on the roof to clean gutters and fix the mesh and bird problem we have had for 2 years! They quoted me , scheduled me, came out on the correct day and time. I had excellent service. The gutters are super clean, inside and outside. The mess was cleaned up. Pressure washed the mess on the house and windows. I actually thought it would be more, and was happy with the price for the time it took. I will be using this company next year for the roof, gutter and windows! Thanks Angie and AA windows!!!

I was very pleased with the results of the cleaning. An extremely professional firm offering services at a reasonable price; exactly what most consumers are always looking for. The firm's followup phone call after the services were performed was another indication of a high quality firm that stressed customer service. I used them two weeks later to power wash the exterior of the house. Highly recommend. Angie's List discount was an added bonus.

My driveway has many cracks and my deck is Trex, both of which require a gentle pressure wash. Britton was an expert at getting everything very clean with no damage. Excellent!

My initial call was handled friendly and professionally. The price was what I was quoted, exactly. When I mentioned an Angie's List coupon, he immediately applied it without hesitation. The Service Tech was prompt and very nice. They said he would arrive between 8 & 8:30 and he was here at 8:10. He described the steps involved and answered all my questions throughout the process. He cleaned up thoroughly and quickly afterwards. I highly recommed AA Window & Gutter Cleaning.

They arrived two weeks after I made the appointment (they were very busy when I made my appointment). They have done work at my place before, and always do the job well, without any unsightly debris left all around the house, and again did a terrific job. My mint plants don't like the 30 Second cleaning fluid, but it only affected a small amount of plants, and my roof and gutters are very clean - these guys do a terrific job and are very professional. Also, they always send out a survey when they are done to ask you if everything went well.

They charged us $919 and they gave us a $20 discount for being on Angies List. We thought that they were great. They were here all day and were thorough. They did a roof treatment and instead of pressure washing our roof like companies did they sprinkled some stuff and told us to allow 30 days for it to dry and the moss would die. They used some special technique and the stuff is still up there, but mostly the moss was gone. We felt like they were contemporary and better on their work. They called right back and were right on time.

The owner's son showed up to clean all our windows and skylights prior to our putting our home on the market. He did an OK job on most windows, but left pools of dirty water on window ledges and furniture in several rooms, broke the screen on one window when taking it off (which I had the misfortune to discover after he'd left), did a poor job on the outside of several windows, and didn't clean one window at all. I have a call in to the company that is still unreturned, but even if they replace the broken screen and reclean the still-dirty windows, I would not use them again unless I was given the option to request a more qualified window cleaner. I used AA because of the high remarks by users on Angie's List, but I guess I should have known they looked too good to really be true. Update: AA did fix/replace the screen, tho maintained it was not broken by their cleaner.

I was really pleased with this company and their work. Brett showed up about five minutes early to do the job. We walked around the house and he pointed out some sections of our roof that I hadn't noticed that needed moss removed from them. I was grateful for that. He got right to work and did a great job. He had to come back the next day with a spotter so that he could get on an extra tall ladder for one side of the house. They showed up as promised the next day and finished the job. It was the best and most thorough gutter and roof cleaning we've had in six years!

Hired this company after reading recommendation from Angie's list. They did an excellent job! Arrived promptly, worked efficiently, was very courteous and professional with the reasonable price matching the estimate. I am highly satisfied and signed up for regularly scheduled window cleaning services on my house. Luke was outstanding, well spoken and did a magnificent job! Thank-you!

The individual arrived on time and quickly blew the debris off the roof and applied the moss killer. Hosed off the deck area to fully remove all the debris. He was quick and efficient in cleaning the windows. However, two items to note - spilled moss killer powder on the side of the driveway on the ground cover killing two small sections. The debris was cleared, bagged and move to top of driveway, but missed area on the south side of house and garage.

This job was quoted over the phone, using square footage of the house, etc. I relied on the high ratings of Angies list. A young man arrived exactly when scheduled, and worked tirelessly to get the moss off the roof, and clean the gutters. Our house has lots of steep angles and a very steep roof with lots of gables. Composition roof was scrubbed with an industrial strength wire brush, then the debris blown off with a leaf blower, gutters cleaned, and a solution of "poison" sprayed on, that they guaranteed for two years. The roof is free of all live moss, the treatment is very effective. I would and will hire this company when this is needed again. We had the roof power washed a couple years ago, and I am sure we lost 5 or more years of a 40 year composition roof, this is the way to go. He cleaned the gutters, and removed a large quantity of moss from the entire roof. Highly recommended, job well done, happy home owners.

They did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves and were very reasonably priced.
