AA Window and Gutter Cleaning

I was told that Matt would be here between 8:00 and 8:30, depending on traffic. At the exact stroke of eight, he rang the doorbell. He asked ifI had any questions, and we discussed the application of zinc sulfate, as I was concerned about it killing plantings. He assured me that they used a powder rather than a spray and that there should be no damage to shrubs or flowers. At that, like Clement Moore's St Nickolas, he said not a word but went straight to his work. He very nonchantly walked down the roof ridge, and scrubbed off all the patches of moss with a long handled brush and then applied the moss killer. He finished the job in about four and a half hours, did not appear to take a break during that time, and kept moving faster than I would have wanted to keep up with. At the completion of the job, he informed me of a repair that I needed to have made, and pointed out the specific spot. He loaded up and was gone by 1:00 p.m. Matt was pleasant and courteous and thoroughly professional throughout the transaction. I would defintely use this service again and recommend it to my friends.

We got an appointment less than a week after calling. They were able to provide an estimate over the phone once we provided the address, based on the square footage of the house. The house is a split-level, with high windows in front--too high for me. Ryan showed up on the appointed day, and did all the windows, inside and out, cleaning away years of dirt. He had been with the company about a year, knew what he was doing, and was professional and courteous as well. The results were spectacular and my wife was ecstatic. This had been on her honey-do list for a long time. We got a $20 discount because of Angie's List. Well worth the money; should have done it sooner.

At first he thought he couldn't do the deck but they rearranged the schedule so that they could accommodate the service. Everything looked good afterward. They were very professional.

Great job. I'd hire them again. In fact, I'll probably go back to them again next year, and I'll probably have them do the insides of the windows, too. They're a lot faster than I am.

I was told that the workman would arrive "early afternoon". Grant arrived approx. 1:00, We chatted briefly about what he would do and approx. how long it would take. He got to work and finished in a timely manner. I was very pleased with his performance and communication with me. I would use this service again.

They were very thorough and fast. The downspouts are no longer clogged. Everything works well.

They arrived early and were thorough and competent and polite. They explained everything very clearly. We have signed up for their twice yearly maintenance service.

The initial phone call was handled professionally and they were able quote me a price over the phone. I agreed to proceed based on the positive reviews they have had by other Angie's List members and the price seemed reasonable. The job was scheduled two days after my call. Jeff (our technician) showed up on time and was also very professional. Our gutters had black mold on the outside that made them look horrible. Jeff did a fantastic job of cleaning them! They look almost brand new again!! We are so happy with the results. He also added metal screen to an area where we have had issues with birds nesting for the last couple years. Once he was done, he explained what he did and where the screen was installed but I literally could not tell from the ground. Fantastic work by a company the obviously takes pride in their service. As an owner of a business that is also highly ranked on Angie's List, I truly appreciate a company that takes care of their customers they way they do and I wholeheartedly recommend AA Window and Gutter Cleaning! They do it right.

They showed up on time and did a pretty good job with the cleaning. It was a run-of-the-mill experience.

They were friendly and professional, called both times when they had to reschedule due to weather, were punctual the day of service and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend them.

Good - the job was completed per specks of the job.

I called and they quoted me a price for covering the holes. I had to reschedule several times since all the birds had not flown away. When Nate first came, he said there were birds in one of the holes and they would have to return later to cover a few holes . I waited a month and Nate returned and completed the job. No additional charge to return a second time. They actually reduced the price when they realized I had fewer holes than the initial quote. Great job, great price, great service.

From the beginning I was impressed by their professionalism. The person with whom I talked gave me all of the information I needed, and price; set my appointment at that point. The tech arrived on time, presented himself and did the job in an appropriate amount of time. He cleaned up afterword, talked w/me about the roof and asked if I had any questions. I liked the fact they did the work in a reasonable amount of time after my first contact. I will definite call them when I need another cleaning.

It went very well. Done in apx. 2-3 hours; workman Britton did a great job and really earned his pay!! Plus he was very nice to work with. Minor points: (1) some of the shrubs/vegetation - at eye-level! - around the house could have used "blowing off" as well - pretty small issue, though, because I could and did; (2) not Britton's fault, but the wind/strong breeze caused most the moss-killing granules to be blown off half of the porch/deck overhang plus perhaps other areas - to be seen. Britton assured me the morning dew would activate the granules (since we're having dry heat spells this year); believe the first night's dew DID "cement" the granules as seen on the ones sprinkled over the deck: now they're flat white, immovable spots no longer granules. My expectation is when we get into rainy-er days these spots will activate 10-fold to kill the moss/lichen/algae on my shady roof. I'm pleased by the 3-week warranty: if the roof's still Green, they're back out to sprinkle more moss-killer granules. Re: "B" rating for price - breakdown was, $325 for basic roof-clean-with-moss-treatment and skylights'-cleaning, plus $15 for two exterior window cleanings, minus $20 Angie's List coupon, plus Tax. Ultimate price okay (for my desperate situation), but it still is over $108/hour if he was here 3 hours. Pricier than I would've expected; as a 1st-year Tax Preparer last year I made $10 - 10.50/hour - go figure. Also, estimated Roof blow-off only, for November 2013, was $150 - for probably less than one hour's work? I'm presently unemployed and find these figures just a tad high.

He arrived on time and cleaned the roof, skylights and gutters. He completely cleaned up the debris from the roof and gutters and completed the job in a timely manner. While he was here, I asked him to clean the inside of the skylights which I could not reach with the ladders I had. He cleaned all four - carefully avoiding marking our wood floors, and again made sure that any mess was cleaned up prior to leaving. This was the second time I used him - quality and price are excellent.

They are great. They are great to talk to and office responses that way. It has been very easy to set up times when to come, they are on time and last time I wanted them to make sure that they got checked out couple of places where most waters can collect in the gutter system and they were happy to double check those for me so it was special request essentially and they were happy to do that and they do it quickly. I would use them again.

Vendor showed up on time, performed the work requested in a timely fashion, cleaned up all the ground mess, and provided a great recap of services provided. One of the best vendor experiences I have had. Great job!

Ben arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He was friendly, professional, and did an excellent job. I'm a repeat customer with this company, but I have never written a review. I will continue to call on AA Window and Gutters for future roof cleaning!

It went extremely well, one employee showed up and was extremely professional. He got everything done and cleaned up the moss from the roof. It went perfectly.

Two very nice technicians arrived at scheduled time. Our roof is quite steep & had a lot of moss. Josh explained the process & answered my questions. They did great job removing all the moss & also cleaning up the debris from the yard.

Outstanding service. Ben showed up at the scheduled time and walked my wife through the work he planned to do. We have a 2 story, 2000 sq ft house with a hipped roof and moss on the northern slopes - not a lot, but enough that I didn't want to spend the time cleaning it myself. He estimated the work would take 3-4 hours and although we weren't here for most of the time, he was gone by the time my wife was home 6 hours later. When we came home, we had a clean roof, clean gutters and clean skylights and a note on the porch with the charges and a quick summary of the work he did. Overall I would say this was incredible value and would highly recommend this company to others.

They did a great job on the roof. WIth the window cleaning they missed a couple of windows. I'm not sure if they cleaned the exact number of windows I said i had(I was giving them a guess as I hadn't counted them) or else they missed some. But, the ones they cleaned looked great as they even cleaned the screens .

I had a very good experience with AA Windows & Gutters. Brian, the window cleaner, was right on time, asked if I had any questions, told me where there were problems with broken seals, and was very friendly. We have 4 skylights and he cleaned all of them. I would definitely use this company again.

Arrived on time, and spent most of the day doing the work. They were professional, did an excellent work on all jobs, and made sure that area was clean and presentable when finished.
