Washington Generator did a fantastic job from start to finish. They were very informative and helpful during the selection process and once we proceeded with the purchase and installation they kept all of the timelines they had provided. We really appreciated the level of professionalism and communication they provided.

For whatever reason - I can't remember - they couldn't service my generator. I used Allenbach Electric instead and Mike Allenbach did a superb job.

Washington Electric did an amazing job! I had a generator installed by them, and it went incredibly well. They did everything they said they would, were on-time, did clean work, and were incredibly thorough during the whole process. I would highly recommend them for a standby generator.

They were punctual. For the most part, it was fine. They communicated well. There was some discrepancies in services but they followed through with the original quote. The work was great. They should be more tactful in their email responses.

Eric and his team were fantastic- knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Everything was done on time, and the services and costs were clearly communicated during the estimate and at the job. The newly-installed panel is clearly labeled, and all safety concerns with the old one were addressed. During the panel upgrade, the crew also ran into some unexpected challenges, and they took the time to explain how each issue was remediated. I am very pleased with the overall experience.

Work was not per code! Months after work was performed I was about to have the ceiling drywall fixed when I looked up into the space between the ceiling and the 2nd story, I noticed a splice connection out in the open. (I have attached a picture so you can see what I am talking about). I know enough about electrical to know this is not per code. If one or more of the wire nuts fell off, live wires would be exposed and could start fire in the ceiling. I called and explained what I found and they wanted me to wait 4 days. I mentioned I'd prefer sooner considering the issue and they called back to schedule a tech later the next day. He came and fixed it and apologized, but didn't appear to concerned with this shoddy work. I explained that I paid a "professional" to do professional work and they failed to perform. What if I hadn't found this and years down the road something happened and an arc fire started? Again, I PAID for this work to be done right. They have such great reviews, but I would never hire them. I recommend you pull a permit if you decide to hire them. At least that way, they will know their work will get inspected and hopefully they will do it right for you.

Requested a bid to relocate an old permanent backup generator due to some issues meeting electrical code. Someone was sent out about two weeks after I called ? a bit long, in my estimation, but apparently they are very busy. The individual they sent out was very pleasant and professional, and seemed very knowledgeable. However, that is when the problems began. We had discussed several scenarios, and I had requested bids on these so that I could begin addressing the problem, as the state inspectors were breathing down my neck to fix these code violations (which do not pose a safety hazard, btw,). After not hearing back from them for over a week, I called, and was told by the person answering the phone that they would contact the estimator and get the bid to me promptly. A week later, no response, another call, and a similar answer. It is now nearly a month since the inspector has come to give me an estimate,and after three phone calls I have still not received a bid on this work project, or even a call back. Color me unimpressed. They may do good work, but their responsiveness is horrendous, and I would never use this contractor on this basis.

Service was great. Prices quoted for work that could be performed in the future seemed fair.

Washington Electric charged me for another new battery for the generator, a service, and the generator failed again within a matter of weeks with the same error as before. After they quoted a huge bill just to visit and attempt to fix again (and a refusal to guarantee their work fixing the generator), I did my own research online and discovered that the generator has a known design flaw/recall and Washington Electric should have known about it and how to fix it. When presented with the recall information, Washington Electric, instead of offering to fix the problem, refused to perform the recall/warranty service on the generator, and reported to the manufacturer that the unit should not be warranted. In other words, Washington Electric advocated for the generator company over their customer. When asked about this fiasco, they lectured me in condescending manner about how generator companies need to be protected and that it didn't matter if the product was defective. It was a horror story from start to finish, so I terminated the relationship with them. In the end, I hired a different company to repair the generator for a fraction of the cost, and they were friendly and nice about it. The issue was resolved in a simple visit, but they couldn't get my warranty back. They also informed me that it is not standard practice to replace batteries every 1-2 years as Washington Electric insisted it was (more money thrown away). I wish someone had warned me about this company in the beginning!

Everything went exactly as planned. The electrician was very knowledgeable and worked quickly. The new lighting looks much better than our old lights!

A pleasure to have in my home. Took more time with me ...15 minutes ....over promised hour. Explained everything easily. Zero sales pressure. Ordered findings into categories of importance. Definitely interested in cost awareness. Indicated which items could be safely performed by us and which needed a professional electrician's services. Obvious an experienced electrician. We will use them in the future when we build a writer's hut in the backyard.

He was very thorough. He answered all the questions I had. The price was very good.

Arrived on time and worked in my garage for a few hours.

Prompt service. Did a thorough job of inspecting our electrical installation and also gave a detailed list of improvements to do.

The 2 technicians that came out were friendly but when I called back after the new dryer shut off, Eric, the owner, was defensive and extremely rude. I insisted he have someone come back out and fix the problem immediately. I also requested that Eric call Home Depot and get my perfectly good dryer back (only 5 years old) or reimburse us for the $850 dryer we didn't need. Eric could not have been more unprofessional. He did have a Lead Electrician come out who, after five minutes replaced the breaker. Problem solved. Eric kept telling me the "industry standards" suggested if the breaker tested fine, it was fine. That it would take extensive diagnostics to determine the cause of intermittent tripping and that they didn't know that was the problem. I told them that was the problem all 3 times they times they came out. I spoke with a contractor who's been in business for 40 years who explained exactly how the job should have been handled. The breaker should have been replaced on the first trip out. Period. The last technician even said he might reuse the breaker he took out because it looked fine!

We were very happy with Washington Electric from the very beginning. They have a very professional office staff, and every contact with their entire team was a great experience. From Eric who came to do our estimate, to the installers, to any follow-up. We were also very impressed with the professionalism shown by everyone. The install team worked efficiently and competently. They clearly had installed many standby generators before, and gave us confidence in what they were doing. We would gladly recommend Washington Electric and Generac to anyone we know.

From the get-go, it was clear that these guys mean business. The estimator that came to size the job was extremely knowledgeable and very open to questions and suggestions. He did not try to upsell anything and was very attentive to ensure that I got what i needed. The quote was very competitive when compared with other non-specialized electricians in the area. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze. Their back office got me in less than two weeks away. Perfect. The day of the appointment, a crew of three showed up (actually they were there silently half hour before the 8 am appointment - very good). They clearly know what they are doing. They were quick, efficient and clean. The details are what made the high grade. The new lines they pulled, the caulking of the holes, the positioning of the generator, all was done with care and attention to the aesthetics of the final result. It is not a small job. The crew was onsite more than seven hours. They took care of everything and when they left, the conditions were better than when they came. I have rarely seen a crew so thorough in cleaning after themselves. I highly recommend Washington Electric if you are thinking of a backup generator.

I called to set up an appointment twice and left messages and no one called me back.

Great from start to finish. Very knowledgeable and very responsive to questions. Install went great and the installers were also very knowledgeable and accommodating, even when I had questions during the install process. They coordinated all the inspections and permits. Even after install, very responsive to questions we had about the system. Would highly recommend for install of back up generator. We signed up for their maintenance plan too.

We contracted with Washington Electric for installation of a standby generator because some friends recommended them. A crew led by Kurt showed up promptly at the appointed time and they immediately went about their business. They obviously had done this kind of job a number of times before and it showed in their ability to get the job done efficiently in one day. They were very knowledgeable, great to work with and cleaned up when the work was done. Washington Electric took care of all the details to get the job done, including the necessary building permits. Final City inspections were conducted easily and quickly the next day. The electrical inspector said that Washington Electric is the best on these generator jobs and he rarely finds problems with their work.

He did a good job of going over the electrical system in my home, made recommendations for improvement and safety, answered questions, & followed up with questions afterwards

Tyler showed up early and promptly went to work. Service was thorough and professionally done. I made a reservation for next year too!

From initial consultation and quote, to install was very smooth. There was one minor hiccup with the install, but that was due to the scheduled date being 12/26. There was only one installer that showed up, but he worked all day and they came back out and finished up later that week.
