Signature Window & Door Replacement

Grant came to our house to do the initial bid for the job and did such a great job explaining every little thing and instilled such confidence in the quality of their work. We had four companies come out to bid on the job, but Grant was the most thorough in explaining the process, taking us through the options and answering all of our questions. Although they were not the lowest bid we received, they were very competitive. We did feel like they would do the best job, and in fact they did a great job. The job foreman was very professional and terrific to work with. During the middle of the job, I had a family emergency that required me to leave town. Grant brought in another team to help with the installation to get the job done before I had to leave. We really appreciated the effort that went into accomodating our special circumstances. The windows look amazing and we are so happy with the overall look. I have already recommended them to a friend!

I received my bid and was astonished to find it in the middle of the 4 other bids I had received, even though I felt the quality of the windows was maybe a bit less than that of Anderson and Pella (two of the other 4 bidders). As I have done extensive research on the cost of the windows and the labor (I supervise commercial construction projects, all the time), I emailed and challenged the price, saying I would love to work with the company but that the overall price was too high (I was given a price per opening, with out a labor/materials breakdown). The owner basically told me that he couldn't work with me, as he "Obviously wasn't going to be able to make me happy..." I have read numerous anecdotes and references on the internet that Pella and Anderson like to use a rule of thumb of $2,000 per opening... and that is certainly true as their bids were north of that, after the "extras". Unfortunately, this bid was also in that neighborhood. As a postscript... I waited until I had actually finished my project to post this comment. I found windows comparable to Pella/Anderson/ and those offered by Signature (Marvin)... in any event, they all have a 20 year guarantee. And I found a contractor to do the installation that was most excellent to work with and produced a superior finished product. FOR 40% LESS!

Our overall experience was excellent! Randy Lucas was very thorough in explaining the benefits of the new door and was very responsive to questions and phone calls. The installation crew was professional and competent.They were a pleasure to work with. We plan to have them back to replace our other doors. These are good people to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

Highly satisfied. I met Randy Lucas at a home improvement show when I wasn't shopping for windows, and felt confident with him immediately. We did our homework shopping around and comparing products. The Simonton windows he recommended appeared to be the best value. There was no sales pressure, nor a requirement that my wife and I sit through the pitch, as other firms "require" before offering a price. Work days were scheduled about six weeks ahead and went very smoothly. Nine months later, we remain highly satisfied with the installation and the choices we made with Randy's professional guidance.

We had a wonderful experience with Signature and are enjoying a much warmer house this winter. After soliciting three bids for replacing all our windows, Signature came in with the lowest estimate and the nicest style in windows. The co-owner, Randy, pitched Signature's services and took the initial measurements. He was patient and methodical in explaining our options. Signature is ably served by his foreman, Simon, who came to take detailed measurements and later worked as one of two window installers. Simon has extremely professional, accommodating and supernaturally fast; he and his partner finished the entire job in under three days.

Randy Lucas, the owner, came out and talked over the job with us. He was very friendly and professional. He let me know what my options were and the pros and cons of each one. He carries more than one brand of window so I was able to select something that went with the windows we were keeping. The job was done on time and very professionally, and the crew was friendly and helpful. They didn't leave a mess at all. We are very happy with the windows and trim. They look just great! He also let me know about their Angie's List coupon, which I had missed!

It was very good and we were very pleased. The quality of the work, the workmanship, and the product we received were all good. The sales people and the installers were very professional. They did all the work in less than a week.

Randy Lucas gave me bids on three different windows and discussed the pros and cons with me so that I felt very informed and confident in my ultimate decision. From placing the order to the installation, it took only about two and one-half weeks. He sent an excellent installation crew, who worked very efficiently and with great care to do all the work very professionally. We had just had another contractor do another big job at the same house a couple of months before, and unfortunately, although the work was ultimately OK, the process was horrendous, both for us and for the tenant. We were all wary of going through that again, but were delighted with how easy and hassle-free the process with Signature was. This is a top-notch company.

We were incredibly impressed with the installer. It was definitely the most professional crew that we have had at our house. There were a couple things that had been delivered wrong and they came right back out to fix them. So far the windows look excellent and seem to be working out perfect.

The job went very well indeed. It's easy to see why they have high ratings overall on Angie's List. They sent a representative right away to give me an estimate. Within 2 weeks I had my new door. The workers who installed the door were incredibly knowledgeable, and very professional. You can tell they take pride in their work, and believe in doing a job right the first time! We made the initial contact through the website. We were quickly contacted and an appointment was set up for the owner, Grant, to meet with us. Grant brought a notebook showing their company information, insurance, etc. He discussed the various types of windows with us and what they could do for us. He showed us a sample of a window and showed us how it worked, and we also tried it ourselves. Grant was very knowledgeable and set our minds at ease that we really had found just the right company to take on this project. Grant walked through the house to look at the windows we wanted replaced and did an initial measurement so that he could provide an estimate to us. We were quite concerned about some of the windows and getting things ready for this process. Grant put our minds at ease that his window installer would not have any trouble. We had decided to go with single-hung windows as they were less expensive. Grant checked with the window manufacturer to see if they could make the single-hung windows for our house. The manufacturer told them they could. Shortly after, we received our estimate via e-mail. We were very pleased with the estimate for 8 windows. Later, Grant contacted us as the manufacturer advised they (the manufacturer) were mistaken and could not do the single-hung, but could do the double-hung. Grant told us that we would get the double-hung for the price of the single-hung as it was the manufacturer's mistake. Wow... we were quite happy about that. We had some questions regarding the double-hung product which were efficiently and quickly answered. We were so happy with this Signature Window Replacement company that we decided to add another 7 windows onto the already 8 windows ordered. Grant came out again & prepared the paperwork right on the spot. So, we made our deposit. Simon came out with Grant so final measurements could be made. We have a sun porch that had really been bothering us as to logistics & how we would get it done. They put our minds right at ease that it would not be a problem at all. They advised us what we would need to do to prepare for them - move a few glass things, tie back draperies, move things back about 4 feet from the windows. We had a bed unit that was causing difficulty... how could we do it? Simon told us they could help & there would be room for them to work without a total move of the unit. We were told it would be about 6 weeks and we were anxiously counting down to a warmer house. We were contacted with the schedule of when our windows would be arriving and installed. We were also advised if that schedule did not work, it could be adjusted. They let us know how long it would take to install the windows. They asked where we would like them to start (which we thought was nice). They arrived at the time & day stated ready to go to work. What they moved, they moved back. They also put the bed unit back together for us. Thanks!!!

They were absolutely fantastic! Aside from the windows being stunning, and an amazing fit for our 1918 house, their customer service was above and beyond anything I have received in the home-repair and contractor business. We had two large "wood" windows installed (They sell a fiberglass window with a wood covering that is amazing. It is significantly less expensive - and more durable - then solid wood but still has the exact same appearance. I highly recommend it!). Plus a large vinyl picture window set in two double-hung windows and a couple other small windows installed. The wood windows are beautiful (There is a company they work with that will stain and finish the wood to match - I highly recommend using this service if you need to match pre-existing trim!). There were some complications with the large vinyl window at the manufacturers end and the care we received while these complications were addressed was amazing. Randy and his team took the extra time, attention, and effort to ensure that we received a high quality product. We plan on using them again!

Great. Of the 4 bids I got, Signature was the lowest and Randy, one of the owners, was the best salesman of the 4 who came out! He gave me a good suggestion for our entry way windows which I love. Clayton and Sean are very hard workers and have done an excellent job of installing the windows. They seem to really enjoy working together and have a good time. They work very well and efficiently together too. They clean up at the end of the day and you'd hardly notice they were there.

Outstanding. Yuriy and Andre arrived on time every day, they installed all of the windows as promised, and did an excellent job with the trim and caulking. Any time they had a question, they would tell me the options available, the pros and cons of each, and let me decide. There weren't many, but a couple came up during the 3-day install process. Even when bidding, they made suggestions for changing the arrangement of the windows that open, and it's made a huge difference in how nice the house looks. They really know their stuff. I'm planning on buying a couple of windows for my parents as a Christmas present and having Signature install them, as well.

He showed us the pros and cons of the window brands his company offers, which ultimately provided us with exactly the information we needed to make our decision. Signature installed Simonton double-hung vinyl windows, as well as a few large horizontal sliders in the back of the house. Simonton now comes with a life-time warranty. We couldn't be happier with the quality and convenience of these windows! Signature's installation team was professional, meticulous, courteous, and punctual. In fact, Signature was able to schedule the installation two weeks ahead of the original estimate! We were thrilled! We got estimates ranging from $5,000 to $13,000 from 5 window replacement companies. We chose Signature because we liked the Simonton product line and because of Grant Neiss' responsiveness and honesty.

Every step of the process was extremely well organized. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and professional. The in-home estimate with Grant was very easy. The windows he recommended look great in our home, and he provided a great value on the price. The installers were right on time and did an excellent job. I have owned my home just over 10 years and have worked with a fair number of contractors, this was by far my most positive experience and I highly recommend them.

I found Signature Window Replacement on Angie's list. They are top rated for good reason. Very easy to work with and have great knowledge of their product. Guarantee their product. Carry several brands of top vinyl windows. Hubby and I are saving our money to have all of the aluminum windows around our house replaced by SIGNATURE. We only have good things to say. These French sliders are super quality and glide like a whisper.

Signature came out promptly, discussed several alternative windows and gave me an estimate. I was impressed with the reports I had read on Angie's List, the price was reasonable considering other companies I had talked to, and the quality of the window was excellent, so I ordered the window. The window was ready two weeks before I expected and the installation could not have been easier for me. Oksana worked around my schedule for installation and Yuri and Andre were both hard working and professional in their demeanor. They did a remarkably clean job of the installation and took care to clean up after themselves. While I will need to paint around the window a bit, they did such a clean job it is barely noticeable. In addition, a small adjustment needed to be made to the window by the manufacturer's rep and Signature contacted the rep to make an appointment with me and then stayed on top of the situation until the rep had called me. The window and the installation are both guaranteed for life and I could not be happier with the entire process. I highly recommend this company.

They did an excellent job, they were very neat and always on time and the product was what we expected it to be, I would recomend this company to others.

Randy's crew showed up on time, any concerns handled with smiles and polish. Job done on schedule, confirmations timely, any questions Randy and his office handled the calls no annoying phone computer telling me "your call is very important to us" .....or press this # for this or that person. All clean-ups were great from day to day. Job took 5 days to do only because an extra day needed for lowering the bay window, a customized job-customized! I would recommend this company to my mother!!!

It went very well. They were very professional and they did what they said they were going to do and did it when they said they were going to do it. The workers were professional and they did a good job.

It was okay, they were good, they were on time and they did okay work, but they could have been more careful and they could have cleaned up a little better, including glass in my daughters room.
