Signature window was flawless on every level. They made it easy and we felt the price was very fair for the quality of the windows, which were beautiful. They also spotted and replaced some sun-damaged rotted wood on some of the exterior windowsills, which was very much appreciated.

After a brief phone call it was discovered that Signature will only install their own doors and not pre-purchased. Not a practice to promote recommendations.

The day of the planned project, the team showed up right on time. There was still an issue about existing trim around two of the windows. A few hours into the project, the original Signature salesman, Danny, arrived to check on the project which was a nice touch and valuable as we reassessed the trim issue. Discussing it with the installation foreman, we changed our approach which turned out very nicely and I really appreciate their willingness to flex that far into the project. Despite the two story entryway work requiring extension ladders inside and out, and the change to collapse the two windows that were replaced involving the trim issue, the team finished the project by the end of the day and cleaned up well. The only issue we had was they did not have enough drop clothes to cover the entire work area, and wouldn't you know someone tracked in what appeared to be black adhesive or caulk in two spots on band new carpet. I was able to work the stuff out of the fiber with a solvent with 30 minutes of work, so it turned out OK.

The experience was smooth from start to finish. They came to measure, and went over the technology behind the products with us. We didn't need replacement of the vinyl, just the glass, and they didn't try to convince us otherwise. The price was far less than two other estimates we received. We were scheduled for installation within a couple of weeks. The crew of two arrived on time, were friendly and courteous. They replaced the four windows, cleaned up, and were finished in under two hours. We recommend Signature Windows and would absolutely use them again.

We contacted Signature in late May after we signed a contract to purchase a mid century house in RB to do a preliminary measurement and give us an estimate to replace several compromised windows and three sliding doors. Jerry the sales rep came on 6/3 and gave us an estimate. We signed the contract and gave a $7500 deposit. Right after July 4 their first installer came to the house for final measurements, did his job and left. Later that week I found more windows that had been compromised (double pane with compromised seal) and called to arrange another appointment for an installer to measure and revise the estimate. The installer arrived an hour before our scheduled appointment, and according to other contractors working on the house walked in, looked around and left. When I called Signature to find out why he left before our scheduled appointment, I got the run around from 2 administrative employees, and asked that the owner give me a call. An hour later, Jerry our sales rep called me and said that they had decided they would not do the job as it was "commercial construction" (it is a 1960s house). I again asked to speak to the owner. He called me later and said the owner was not answering his phone. 3 hours later my wife called the owners cel and got Randy immediately on the phone. Randy was completely unresponsive and unwilling to consider any solutions or alternatives to the problem and said that he had not accepted our contract, despite having our deposit for 8 weeks. He said He said he would refund our deposit plus 2% (obviously a way to avoid any legal problems). The real problems here are that we were never communicated to over a 8 week period that there were potential problems with their ability to complete the job and fulfill what we thought was the contract, and that we are now eight weeks behind schedule on being able to move into our renovation and must find another contractor to complete the work that they originally said they would complete.

Very professional, honest and high quality service all around, from sales managers to the actual crew doing the work. One of the few companies I worked with that makes you feel that they genuinely care about creating value for their customers. Would hire again without hesitation.

Everything about this company was top notch. Danny came out to give us a bid and explain the door choices to us. He was great to work with, very friendly and informative. The cost was a little higher than we had hoped for, but the doors are made of fiberglass, not vinyl, so they cost a bit more. We got put on the schedule and the installers came out on time and did their work quickly, politely and efficiently. We are very happy with the way the doors look and function, and we would definitely hire Signature Door & Window Replacement again.

Brent, the estimator, was friendly and helpful, provided useful information and even provided itemized info. He gave a competitive quote for Simonton Vinyl Daylight Max windows, but unfortunately did not know the limitations of his installation crew. Despite assuring me they could install the windows, once I was ready to sign the contract, he backed out.

I sent my request out to many vendors via Angie's List, and Signature was the first vendor replied to me. Though they don't offer emergency services, Stephanie called me and recommended another vendor to me which I went with and got my glass door fixed. Very really impressed with Signature's responsiveness, willing to help and customer service! (I had windows replaced with Signature twice during the past ten years...and they have always been wonderful.)

Signature Window did a super job replacing two windows. One had been installed badly and was leaking water into the basement from the top and one side. The other was smaller than the opening, probably to fit a stock window, and Signature restored it to the original size. The salesperson explained our options well and provided a quote before leaving the estimate meeting. The installation was done very meticulously and cleanly by Ed and Jordan a few weeks later. At various points during the work, Ed invited us to examine the windows and take photographs so that we could see and document all the steps he was taking to ensure it will be sealed against future water intrusions. The end result looks fantastic, so much better, and Ed gave us full confidence in his skills by being so willing to share the installation details along the way. This was one of the best experiences we've had in Seattle, after using many different contractors for various jobs.

We were happy with both the product and the services. The Simonton window had features we liked - lower profile frame, self locking, very transparent screens. We also got estimates for the Marvin product Signature installs as well as for Renewal by Anderson windows. Those later two were quite expensive. We did not get another estimate for vinyl windows so we can't say how their pricing compares for vinyl windows. The estimator was thorough, low pressure, and answered all of our questions. He had several good suggestions for us about the products. The estimate came back timely. Especially appreciated was that the crew supervisor came to do the final measure so that we could discuss job aspects with him and not have to start all over with the crew. He was especially accommodating about providing trim that best matched our rough cedar siding. We waited a long time to replace windows because the installation methods described to us previously sounded prone to failure. Signature cut back the siding to use the nail fin, and provided several layers of sealing that satisfied our concerns. The 2 man crew was here a day and a half. They were on time and cleaned up well. They were experienced, professional and answered any questions we had as they arose. We appreciated that they took care of filing the warranty info for us. We have had the windows about 2 months now and are very happy. We would happily recommend this firm to you.

Had a couple quotes and Signature came in with a much better price! I also will say the salesman who came to my house was much better than another company. He explained the procedure very well with no pressure (unlike another company). When I decided I can only do several windows and not all of them, they worked with me on my concerns so respectfully and professionally. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again if needed!

We have about 12 windows across our home and we have got about 3 price estimates. (One of it is HomeDepot). Signature's pricing came below Home depot and their reviews and the sales person we worked with made us go with Signature. We are very happy with our decision. The installation crew was very professional and did the job very well. I would highly recommend these guys.

Signature did a great job. The installers were on schedule, and were professional, hardworking, and personable too. They pulled out the old windows, using plastic and dropcloths to minimize dust inside from removing the old windows, and hauled everything away. The new windows look great. They went the extra mile to match our wood-trim surrounding the windows. Highly recommend.
