Signature Window & Door Replacement

Grant the owner came out to work up the estimate and sit down with me. Grant was awesome and read me right away ... I didn't want a sales pitch, I had done my homework and very specific technical questions. He patiently answered everything and added some information. The estimate was in the range of others, but the initial experience with Grant ranked this company as tops in my book. Vadim and his installation crew are craftsman. They took outstanding care of the inside and outside and as they finished a window area they immediately cleaned up that area. I've been telling everyone what a professional company this is.

I was very impressed with Signature Windows. Everyone I interacted with was prompt, friendly and professional. Getting a quote was a pleasant experience, unlike the hard sales tactics other companies used. The installation crew was outstanding. They found 4 window trim pieces rotting when they replaced our windows, so they just pulled some cedar from their truck and replaced them from their stock at no extra charge - wow! When they were done there was no cleanup to be done, it's as if they hadn't been there, except for the beautiful new windows. I love my new windows. I will definitely use them again.

It was excellent. They were reliable. They have excellent product. It was good installation.

What separated Signature from their nearest competitor for us was that they weren't pushy on the sale and didn't play salesman with us. Grant worked ridiculously hard to get our contract, coming over to our house late in the evenings. He seemed to make an effort to answer our questions honestly. Simon, the installer was incredibly informative and I peppered him with questions about the condition of the house's original windowframes and trim and about the workings of the new windows, what kinds of finishes to consider, etc, etc. The installation team showed up exactly when they said they would and left my house cleaner then I've ever seen a contractor leave it. While I feel a little sick about the amount of money I spent on these Marvin windows, the experience with signature was very good.

There was a little bit of confusion at the beginning because the salesperson went out of town and didn't get back to me, but later the owner of the company did. I wasn't in a mad rush so that was fine. The person who came out to measure and then later to install the door was great. Very professional. The door works perfectly, fits tightly and the hardware which wasn't working so well in the prior door is fine now. Also, he took care of the alarm which had been a concern for us. Everything was cleaned up. The power happened to go out while they were installing the door, and it was a cold, rainy day but neither of the installers complained or slowed down. Yuri also went above and beyond by helping us with another door we'd be having trouble with. My husband asked if he knew how to fix that problem. Yuri said he did and proceeded to fix it. This saved us a lot of aggravation because we would have had to hire someone else to come in and fix that problem as well. I highly recommend Signature. If only all services were so great. We also were given discounts which really helped. Honestly, it was a relief to deal with this company and I'm happy to recommend them.

We had used Signature for previous window replacements and were very satisfied with their work. When the seal failed on 2 of our 4 large living room windows we decided it was time to bite the bullet and replace all 4 of them so we called Signature first. Signature's original estimate was so high (around $10k) that we decided to call other companies. In the end we found another company through Angie's List whose price was close to half that price for the exact same windows. Signature did offer us a modest reduction from their first estimate but it was still several thousand more than the company we chose.

This is our second time working with SIgnature and they are excellent...we never need to look for a window company again. Let them know we wanted to match the prior windows they installed a year ago, they came within a week to get the measurements, ordered the windows from Marvin, and four weeks later, they were installed with minimal effort on our part. The quality of installantion again was excellent and the professionalism of the installers evident. Randy, the owner, takes great pride in his company and manages the operation with the greatest of integrity.

Great all around. Every step went as expected - everyone was punctual, work looks great, and the price wasn't too bad. The only not 100% positive is that I was unable to get a quote for a door I requested. I asked twice, but never did get it. That's not a negative - more of a meh, but it was a bit puzzling. I give these guys a big thumbs up!!!

In late January installation foreman Vadim came and did the critical measure. A week before the installation, Oksana, the office manager called and reminded us the crew would be here at the appointed time and date. On March 31st, Vadim and two assistants arrived and went to work. Watching these craftsman do their work was a joy. Although I have been an avid "do-it-yourselfer" over the years I was in awe at their expertise and how they made it appear relatively easy due to the experience they commanded in doing what was obviously not an easy job. Weather cooperated and the team was able to completely finish a two story house with nearly 20 windows, sliding glass doors and a special garden window. We are very happy with our windows and would recommend Signature without reservation.

It was an exhilarating experience to realize that not everyone out there is cut throat and highly competitive. i appreciated the honesty.

This company is about as rock solid as it comes. Good prices, expert craftsman, and honest. I would recommend them to anyone that needed windows done.

They arrived when advertised for the 3 days that it took to install 37 windows and 15 sliding doors. The windows for the stucco building have a nice trim inside and out. The sliding doors have very nice trim also. I have had nothing but good comments from the tenants about the new windows. I was on site every day and cleanup was done every day. On time, cleaned up and did great work. We have had 5-6 different window installers over the years and I found them to be the best. The installer, Yuriy, did an especially professional job with the window that had a sill that was several inches above the bottom of the window frame.

The owner, Grant came out for our estimate & was very friendly and easy to work with. The workers showed up on time, and worked quickly. The job took 2 days, and our home was "buttoned up" overnight, and someone was always present while the house was opened up. The workers were polite and friendly. The construction and windows look good and work well. For the most part, clean up went well, but there are a few places where our carpet was dirtied by muddy footprints (they did use drop cloths). Signature provided us with the form needed for the PSE window rebate along with the stickers from the windows as the needed proof. The gutter downspout was disconnected during replacement and not replaced.

Randy and his team replaced 10 windows and the front door in my bungalow. He was very prompt to return phone calls and helped to work out some sourcing issues for the front door. I ran into some problems finding a distributor for a vinyl door that had a craftsman feel, but Randy was able to have one created and then worked to get the false mullions installed. Very much appreciated. The crew was able to replace all the windows in a single day, including replacing some minor rot on some of the framing. This was great, but I think they may have felt a bit rushed - there were some minor finish problems (caulk lines) that needed a bit of touch up. Nothing major and everything went well - not a single mismeasured window; I would definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

The company owner (Randy Lucas) came out for the initial consultation. He is a wonderful person and gave me best advice for replacing the older windows (and he didn't try to sell me something that would have been a costly overkill). Once we worked out the exact order, I was contacted by one of the installers who came out on a separate trip to take exact measurements. The 2 person installer team came out towards end of January to install our windows. I had contacted them a few days prior to let them know that we would have no electricity that day as the city was shutting down service for repairs in the neighborhood. The folks at Signature said that was not a problem as they could bring a generator. I should say that the Signature folks were really nice about letting us use their generator to hook up our tankless water heater so we could take hot showers that morning while they were installing the windows. So the team was able to install all 6 windows in one day, which was also a challenge because they were on the 2nd floor so required them to use ladders. The team was really friendly, professional and clean. There was no evidence that they were even there when they left. Everything came out great and we are so happy to get our new windows, which has already made a huge difference in savings on our most recent energy bill.

We had a Great experience with Signature Windows. The owner Randy came out to give us an estimate and emailed us a price quote the next day. We scheduled the installation and were pleasantly surprised when they finished the entire job in One Day! They showed up on time and worked very efficiently together as a team. There was one issue when the wrong Bathroom window was installed and I didn't notice it until after they had finished the job and gone home for the day. I called Randy a few days later and he reminded me that I had approved and signed the contract ... I hadn't noticed the error when I reviewed the contract. Since I was partially responsible for the mistake, I offered to pay some of the cost to have the window replaced but Randy refused my offer and sent one of his guys out just a few days later to replace the window at NO Extra Charge !! I was very impressed with the service we received from Randy and his crew and highly recommend them.

We did compare their prices with other companies and we felt that their price was fair. They were good, but we did have a couple of issues with them. We had just painted a room and there were quite a few marks on the wall under the window that they had put in. They said that they hadn?t done that when I brought it to their attention. However, they were responsive and the work that they did was good. They did everything that they said they would do and also got it done in a couple of days. There was one window that they put in the laundry room where the glass had cracked and so, they replaced the glass. We would use their services in the future too.

We had Keystone estimate replacing our front entryway (door and 2 large picture windows). Their bid was very competitive, right there with the rest of the companies. There wasn't much separating the three bids we got. I felt like the quality of some of the details in their bid (door jamb, locks, handle, etc.) was a bit lower than the other some of the other bids, which was why we didn't choose them. I did feel like they would do good work though and we will consider them for future work.

We had problems with a wrong type of glass from one manufacture and Grant was quick to find out how the error had occurred and how we could resolve the problem. His office staff (Oksana) was outstanding in keeping me informed of the process and if there were any delays or problems the office was excellent in letting me know where I stood in terms of receiving paper work, phone calls and what to expect next. It is when there is a problem that you see the grade of a business and Signature and their employees are a grade A company.

I was impressed with what they offered and they seemed to know their business. They were prompt and responsive. It went very well.

First we got an estimate from another window installer for enlarging the two windows (we got a mailer that there was a sale going on). The estimate was $6,000. So we looked online at Angie's List and read about Signature windows and made an appt. Randy, the owner, came out to talk with us about our project and gave many good suggestions. He sent the estimate within a couple of days and after a few more questions we decided to go with Signature. Randy came out and we went over everything in detail and told us that the windows would be installed in about 4-6 weeks. It was sooner than that. The installers, Simon and his assistant, were very clean and efficient. It took them about 4 days to do the work. We were very happy with the overall process and thought that everyone we worked with was great. If we knew it would have been this hassle free, we would have done it sooner.

I was very impressed with the owner who came out to show me all the options. He was very knowledgeable and very professional. They showed up when they said they would and did a great job. They cleaned up well. They were a bit expensive. Their quality was very good. The windows were great and the room was warmer in winter and cooler in summer. The owner, the installers and the business staff were all good. The owner let me know that it was a tax deductable improvement and made sure that the windows we got were energy efficient enough. He also let me know about the mail card rebate for the windows and also told that he worked it out so that it was the cheapest for us. He obviously took pride in what he did and knew what he was talking about. It was totally non-stressful and I felt I was in good hands. I was able to trust everyone there. I would use them again in future.

They were terrific and excellent. The office manager and the workers were great. They went above and beyond of what they had to do and they did a good job. I had one window that wasn't inclined and they fixed it. They did all the windows and I was happy with their workmanship.

The experience went well. The owner came out to give the quote. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He came out twice; once to give the quote, and then once to verify once we decided to go with them. It has been great so far! I called two other companies to give me a quote, and they never did. I don't have any price comparison, but I liked their customer service. If they follow through with their quote, then most likely they will follow through with the windows.
