They did a great job. Their clean-up was thorough and they did a great job with the caulking.

Great company to do business with. The two guys that did our windows were prompt, tidy,and professional. They worked diligently and were careful to leave everything neat at the end of each day. We had our sliding glass doors (2) replaced as well as all of our windows. There was an issue with the foundation not being poured completely when our original basement door was placed, so the lead Signature guy built a frame and assisted my husband in getting cement poured for a better fit or our new door. The Signature guys had hoped to be done with our windows in four days, but this little extra project set them back an extra 1/2 day, which they gladly did for us at no extra charge. We are grateful for their expertise and kindness to help with this. We would highly recommend this company to anyone for superior windows and service.

From the first contact to the last contact this company was a pleasure to deal with. We needed a replacement for a sliding glass window which had been damaged due to a break-in. We called 4-5 companies, but most of them did not even reply with a quote. Signature came right away. They were courteous, very organized, presented all the options well and provided a clear price quote. After we made our decision, the installers came and did a fantastic job. They left the place spotless and paperwork all in order. Each time I had a question, the office staff replied quickly and politely and made sure we were taken care of. After the work was done, they solicited our opinion via a survey which makes me feel they really cared about customer feedback. Signature was recommended to me by a friend, and I would highly recommend them to my friends (or anyone).

I had already gotten quotes from a few other places before the Signature representative came by. He seemed to quickly understand that I didn't have a ton of time to review products that I knew weren't going to meet my needs, so we went right to what I needed and he gave me a quote very quickly. That was important to me, since it means the salesman is actually listening to the customer, which is not as common as it should be, I'm finding. He gave me two quotes, one having internal grids and the other not, and then gave me his opinions on how it would look in my house. The prices were lower than I was expecting, which made them very competitive with an alternative approach I was considering (storm windows). I appreciated the extra time he spent doing this, and he even emailed me mock-ups after he left my house. Clearly, he had my satisfaction mind. Another good sign. The installation happened a few weeks later, and the installers were great. I was unable to take down my blinds on my own, but they helped me out (both taking them down and putting them back up afterwards). They prepped the area sufficiently and cleaned up after they were done. It took about 4.5 hours from the time they arrived before the install was complete, and the windows looked fabulous, both inside and out. Even better, the drafts in my living room are gone and my house now has a consistent temperature for the first time since I moved in. Overall, everyone involved, from the receptionist to the salesman to the installers, were extremely professional and didn't oversell. They definitely deserved the high ratings they seem to consistently receive on here.

I'd gotten several bids from various window people. Signature was the most economical and they had good reviews so we went with them. And it was a good experience. You don't have to pay through the nose for quality windows and workmanship. They were prompt, did what they said, and finished quickly.

Our experience was great. Randy Lucas made an effort to discuss with us various options and nail down the exact types of windows that would fit our needs and budget. They scheduled the installation about a week in advance (the date was flexible and depended both on their and our availability). The installation was quick and mostly painless. Two windows required a separate visit to plug some unsightly holes between the windows and the brickwork. This was done upon our request without any hassle. In general, our concerns were addressed very quickly. I would recommend Signature Window to everyone. Fortunately, all our windows are already taken care of.

We contacted Signature and they scheduled an appointment to come take a look at what we wanted. Grant came out as scheduled and within a couple of hours gave me a detailed written estimate. It took my wife and I a couple of days to look over the estimate and make our decision. We had a couple of changes and Grant was able to get us a new quote via email very quickly. Once we made our decision, Signature put the windows on order and scheduled our install date. The crew showed up on time and were very professional. They finished the work on schedule. We had a some scratches on a few of the windows, and Signature took care of contacting the window manufacturer and had them replaced. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Overall we are very happy with our new windows and that we chose Signature to do the work.

My house has a view of Lake Washington through 4 large windows with a smaller window above each of them. The original windows were Millgard aluminum frame, double pain. After 20 years, we decided to replace them because of moisture forming between the pains. To further complicate things, I wanted to replace the 2 window configuration with a single larger window, and I wanted minimal frame intrusion on my viewing area. I am pretty particular about what I wanted, and had already done a fair amount of research into different window products before contacting local installers. Grant Neiss at Signature Window Replacement was extremely helpful in selecting the specific windows to install and reaching a design that satisfied me. He contacted several window manufactures to obtain window frame width dimensions so that I could evaluate them for view intrusion and harmony with my existing window dressing. Because my windows were quite large, some frame designs were not strong enough. Grant assisted me in filtering these out. This effort alone took almost a month, partially due to my strict criteria. We ended up selecting windows from Comfort Design. I received bids from several other window replacement contractors, and while Signature Window's bid was not quite the lowest, I felt more confident in the quality of their workmanship. Especially in the replacement of the decorative wood liners around each window which had to be replaced since two windows were being merged into one. Installation took only 3-4 days. The work crew of 2 people was very courteous. They started each day by laying down canvas tarps on the floors to prevent damage to our carpet. Although I am very particular, I was satisfied with the workmanship of their installation. Well done installation of the window frames, surrounding woodworking, and caulking. I elected to stain and varnish the window liners myself to control quality and integrate it with other similar work I needed to do. I also pre-painted the new exterior trim cedar boards since I already had exterior house paint. Because I did this finish work, I can't attest to the quality Signature would have provided. The windows have been in for almost a year now. We remain very satisfied with the windows and the workmanship.

I obtained quotes from six companies to replace the old aluminum windows in our home. I never felt I was being "sold" with Signature, but I did feel like I was listened to. The quote was one of the lower ones we received, but unlike the others, included a "nail fin" installation (which my father in law, who works in construction, insisted upon). Scheduling and installation were on-time and 100% as advertised.

It all went great...done in 2 days as promised.

Met Randy Lucas several years ago and he bid on a project but we went with another company because we anticipated more work on the structure around the windows and that we felt we need a contractor for. We kept in touch because he was always up front and responsive to our questions. He also had a foreman-Simon- that was polite and straightforward. The work was done in a day with little intrusion and the windows are very functional. They were fiberglass and not as sturdy as our wood windows that we used elsewhere, but we understood this going in and the price points were good. The only issue we had was with the secretary. She basically gave us one day in a month to get it done and we weren't home that day. This was awkward but because we had met the foreman before, we trusted him and the company. It would have been nice to have been there and watched the project and be in the home. I would recommend that a date to have the work done be made when we put your down-payment down. I felt pressured to do it on a date not convenient for us. Felt like I wasn't treated with the respect formed between Randy and the Simon. I would work with them again.

Randy provided us a thorough, competitive quote and took the time to explain the various glass and frame choices without any pressure. The whole team, from the office administration to the installers were professional and always seeking to ensure our satisfaction throughout the project. Overall we are very happy.

ghway Signature's representative, Grant Neiss met me at the house on 10/30/12 and we proceeded to evaluate the type of window that would be appropriate for the vintage of the home. I had gone into the appointment with Grant with the mindset that double-hung windows would be most appropriate for the vintage of the home, but with the concern that double-hung windows would impact the view of Puget Sound from several of the windows. Grant suggested to me that casement windows that open out would be appropriate to the period of the home and not impact the view, something I had not considered. He also suggested a grid pattern for the windows (Queen Anne style) that would be more appropriate to the period of the home than what I had considered (divided lights). The Queen Anne style grid also has less impact on the view. Grant carefully evaluated each window in the house, taking notes along the way. Within 24 hours of our appointment, Grant had e-mailed me detailed information on what each window would look like, both casement and double-hung. He is waiting for me to let him know how to proceed at this point so that he can give me an estimate. Grant was very professional, yet easy-going, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. His years spent in the window/door industry clearly showed. I feel it is important to note that I have also sought estimates from two other window companies for this project - I have received dollar estimates from only one so far. His presentation, the confidence he demonstrates and his follow-up are, I feel, well worth mentioning to you.

Randy came out to estimate. We were considering Marvin Infinity windows, and Signature is currently the only local installer. I liked Randy's attitude, his desire to understand what I wanted (e.g., he was the only estimator who took me outside the house and asked me to describe what I liked), and Signature's philosophy of hiring experienced installers who will both measure and install your windows. It didn't take him long to convince me that Infinity were the highest quality window I had looked at, and that Signature would do a fantastic job installing the windows. We were just torn between high quality (and high price) compared with a good quality vinyl window at a much lower price. Long after the initial visit, Randy helped me debate the pros and cons and settle on Simonton, a style that was extermely highly rated in the industry and that met our needs with a much lower price point. If I lived somewhere with extreme summers or winters, I would've gone with Infinity even at the price, but Simonton's warranty and Signature's installation made the difference. Yuri (sp?) came out and measured our windows after we placed the order and was as promised the foreman on the installation crew. It took two men only three days to install all the windows, and it is obvious that they know what they're doing. The cutbacks on the windowsills were so precise that they didn't even need caulk (although in kitchen and bathrooms they did use it just to be safe). The crew arrived on time but not too early (not before 9 am) and cleaned up thoroughly each day and at the end of the job. Everything went smoothly. I gave them a little feedback on how to reduce dust inside the house and it was received appreciatively -- it's obvious that Signature cares about their good repuation. Overall I couldn't be more pleased. We were really nervous about such a big remodeling project -- certainly the most expensive project I've had done before -- and Signature made it easy and worry-free.

The co-owner came to view project, punctual, knowledgeable, very personable and told us, to our great relief, that we had a smaller job than we feared. We had some dry rot around large windows, but he examined and said that dry rot did not penetrate and windows did not need to be replaced. I was grateful and relieved.

I set this up for a specific time in the summer not knowing what the weather would do. They started on time, andworked every day they said they would. There finnish was on time and done right. They went way beyondwhat I was expecting......

Grant Neiss came to our home, measured the windows and doors, discussed in detail the options available and prepared a quotation at the time of the visit. The quote was printed and all support material was provided at that time. He was very professional, answered all our questions and never, at any time, was there pressure to make a decision. We were encouraged to review the quotation, evaluate the material and let him know if we wanted to work with them. We did obtain competitive quotes but given the professionalism of Grant and Signature?s competitive pricing there was little doubt as to who were going to use. We placed the order and immediately we were contacted to schedule a time for the installer (Yuri) came to our home make final measurements. At the ttime of his visit we discussed our unique requirements, and he assured us that we would be completely satisfied with his work and with the product. It was requested that we receive two weeks? notice prior to installation so that our schedule could be accommodated. Just over two weeks prior to installation they called to set the date and time we could expect installation. Yuri and his assistant were on site per schedule, were professional, personable, clean and courteous, and used great care in protecting our hardwood floors, carpeting and the landscaping. The quality of the installation was exceptional and the product met and exceeded our expectations. We have already recommended Signature to others and when we complete the next phase of window replacement there is no question who we will contact to have the work done.

Everything went great. First off, the sales experience was great. The representative wasn't trying to sell us more than we needed. For example, we had heard about vinyl windows sagging, and the representative explained how the problem occurs when vinyl windows are not framed properly, when the vinyl window protrudes outside of the house. The salesperson did not try to sell us super-reinforced frames. When a vinyl window is resting properly completely inside the frame, he explained, there is no problem from sagging. The representative answered all our questions about reflective coatings, insulation values, etc. He helped us pick out very nice, low profile vinyl windows (I hate the bulky frames that some vinyl windows have). Last, there was no pressure at all. In fact, the representative didn't try to get us to sign a contract the day that he came by. Instead, he sent the estimate the next day, so my wife and I were free to evaluate it with no pressure. We used to have a big, aluminum-framed window wall with windows continuing up to form part of the roof. Other window companies didn't want to touch that at all. Signature Windows had no problem taking out that monstrosity and in its place framing out a conventional roof and conventional wall with 3 large conventional windows. They had to replace all the shingles on the bump-out that this window wall was part of, and made sure to find shingles that matched the rest of the roof. The job took 3 days to complete, if I recall correctly. One of those days, it was pouring, and they had a gigantic tarp set up, hanging from the edge of the roof, and they were continuing to work under the tarp. Everything got done to a high level of quality. I pointed out a couple spots where the caulk wasn't perfect (and 1 other spot where I had accidentally touched wet caulk), and they fixed it, no problem. Great attitude, too. They did not begrudge me asking them to fix little imperfections. The price was excellent. After tax, it was $24k for everything - replacing the window wall plus 16 other windows. They had also mentioned a rebate from Puget Sound Energy. After the job was done, I searched on the Puget Sound Energy website to find this rebate, but couldn't find it. I called up Signature Windows, and they explained how PSE was still doing the rebate, but had stopped advertising it, and Signature Windows emailed me the necessary form. We got our rebate, no problem. Very shortly after the install, one of the bathroom window panes cracked. We called, and they explained how it's not too uncommon for a pane to crack right after install, when it's first put under pressure. They came out and installed a replacement pane immediately. It's been a little less than 3 years now, and the windows are doing great. No problems at all.

We loved Randy right from the start. He listened and helped us get the best for our house and keep within budget. He worked with us to make sure we maintainted the look of the house. They came timely and left the house clean. The end results is we now have beautiful windows that kept within the era of the house. We only had one issue with the new modling they put in (did not match) and a sticky door lock. BUT Randy had them schedule that and fix it immediately. We were very happy with the results and the pricing. We would absolutely recommend Signature Windows and Randy! The windows still look great!

I got quotes from 3 companies. All 3 were about the same cost, so my decision was based on my research on reviews on angie's list, BBB ratings, and any complaints filed with WA State Department of Labor and Industries. And also based on my general sense of the sales approach as a reflection of how they would be to work with. After the 3 quotes and my research, I decided to go with Signature. Part of my decision was based on Grant (one of the owners who was the person that came out to my house), and his willingness to spend time with me to educate me on window replacement (first time I've had this done, so wanted to better understand what this kind of work entailed). He was more thorough than the other 2 companies. I also like that he was an owner of the company, whereas the other 2 were salespeople (not that it's a bad thing, but figured that an owner has more at stake in a successful installation). The next day I got a follow up letter from Grant thanking me for the opportunity to provide a quote. Neither of the other 2 did any follow up at all. It seems like a small thing, but Grant was the only one that showed that sort of interest in my business after the quote. That made the other 2 companies not nearly as appealing - if they weren't interested in following up to ask for the job, then I wondered what they would be like if any issues came up. So I decided to hire Signature. It took a few weeks for the install to occur (in part due to need to have the windows made to size, and then getting into their installation schedule). However, the expectation was set at the very beginning, so no surprises. And it occurred exactly at the day/time scheduled. The install was planned for 2 days, and took exactly that. The only issue that came up was a miscommunication on whether the trim around the windows would be primed or not - in the contract it stated that they would be primed, but the work crew didn't have that information in the details of the job. The foreman called Grant and gave me the option of having someone come out to do the work as soon as they could arrange it, or reducing the original pricing if I wanted to do the work myself. I was planning on doing other trim painting on the house anyway, so decided to do the work myself and getting a fair and reasonable discount. Although it would have been preferred that the priming of the trim had been done as per the contract, they took immediate action and gave me 2 options for resolution. This all happened within an hour of the issue coming up. It seems that my initial impression that this company would be there if an issue came up was correct - they were prompt and fair in resolving the issue. No hassle. No argument. Just an immediate resolution to the problem to my satisfaction. You can't expect more than that from any contractor. Another great example of how they went beyond my expectations was that my door had originally been installed with some poor workmanship. The foreman showed me what had been done, and fixed it as it should have been done with no additional charge, even though they could have asked for an additional charge, based on what was in the contract. The final result was new windows and a door that look great, and a very happy customer. I would happily recommend them. It is rare that you get the kind of service that really exceeds expectations, and these guys worked hard to do just that. A final note - you'll see I give them all A's except for pricing. Only reason is that their pricing was pretty much in line with the other 2 quotes and what I expected based on research on what it should cost. However, if the question was VALUE for my money, I'd give them an A+. I fully got what I paid for, and more.
