Installer Direct Flooring

I called them on a Thursday, and they came out on Friday and did a great job. They only left the smallest beading and did the work very quicky. Their measurements were right on.

I bought a $499 Angie's List deal & supplemented it with additional work. They removed the old vanity & toilet, pulled the existing vinyl floor, put in a new subfloor, then tiled the floor. They also installed a new vanity & toilet & removed a mirror from the wall. The work is really great. Beau even matched up the pattern in the tiles so it flowed. The job took two days. He came back the following day to stretch the carpet in the doorway where it met the tile.

We had a GREAT experience. Beau did the actual tile work and did a terrific job!! We're extremely happy with the results and get compliments from everyone who sees it. We had natural stone for the vanity and Beau polished it and made a beautiful edge for the vanity and the backsplash above it in the bathroom. Thanks to Kevin and Beau we'll definitely use you again when we need more tile work done.

Kevin and his crew were great. Kevin came over to examine the existing floors, measure and give me a preliminary estimate of the costs. We also discussed what type of new flooring to install. I had been leaning toward ceramic tile, but after talking with him and looking at samples at DeMar floors, I decided to go with the Armstrong Luxury vinyl planks, at which point Kevin gave me a final price for the job. The crew removed the two existing floors and the existing plywood subfloor in the kitchen. They installed a new subfloor in the kitchen to make it level with the family room. Then they installed the new floor and baseboards. Throughout, they were careful to make as little mess as possible and they were constantly sweeping to keep things neat. The job actually took a day less than estimated and the final price was what we had agreed to beforehand. I would recommend them to anyone who needs flooring installed. However, be aware that they are very busy, and you need to contact them at least a month prior to when you want the work done.

Kevin and his team were very professional. It required a lot of labor to remove glued down Pergo, with tile under that in the kitchen plus installing new sub floor. We had a beautiful LVP floor put down and they did a great job ensuring the floors were level. LVP flooring is quite a bit more expensive than Laminate Flooring, but it is more resistant to moisture than laminate. It took them just over a week to get everything done. They left everything very clean. I really want them to do the bedrooms now, but need to wait until we accomplish some other things in the house.

They made the process extremely pain free. They worked with us and our schedule and did a did a large 2 floor house in just a few days. The quality of the install was great and the installers were very helpful not to mention hardworking. Other people biding for this work required us to move the furniture but they actually said they would move all the big stuff and not to worry about it. They even took the time to take photo's of each room prior to moving the furniture out for the carpet install, to insure that everything got put back in the correct place. I unconditionally recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again.

Had difficulty getting owner out for estimate. Once we got that, everything else on carpet order & install went as scheduled & smoothly. I didn't really want to hear about his kids BD, etc.

My husband and I needed to find an installer rather quickly after purchasing 600 square feet of Armstrong Alterna luxury vinyl tile that our son-in-law was originally planning to install. A change in his job situation left us searching for someone who could step in and take over the entire installation. After reading several reviews on Angie's List, we contacted Kevin Dubois. Not only was he experienced with this product, he highly recommended it and understood the unique challenges we were facing with our home (stairs, cement foundation, old vinyl, etc). Kevin and his crew (Beau & Miguel) tackled the job with enthusiasm and professionalism, taking great pride in their work. After three days of hard work, we had the floor of our dreams. Ten days later, we are still in awe of how perfectly it turned out. The price was very fair. We will use Kevin and this company for all our flooring needs in the future. Kevin and his hard-working crew were absolutely fantastic, and I cannot recommend this company enough! Beau (tile) and Fransisco (carpet) are really great at what they do, and they're extremely friendly and accommodating. This was a large project that took about 10 working days. Kevin gave us an estimate, and it was right on target with what the project ended up costing. I also had to schedule other repairs to the house before the carpet was laid out, and Kevin was very flexible. Best part of all, they did a lot of work for free (hauling stuff away, installing new toilet, installing shower head, etc....). In a world where many providers try to nickel and dime you, Kevin and his company are a breath of fresh air. Thank you for the outstanding work, Kevin!

On time, cost came in a little higher than estimate, timely, excellent product, overall very happy with job.

Went great! From the initial phone contact with Kevin to the presenting of the invoice at the end of the job to the follow-up phone call to make sure everything was fine, Kevin and his crew were punctual (even with having to drive all the way to Lacey), professional, meticulous, clean, helpful, friendly and thorough. When Kevin met us for the estimate, his expertise and knowledge of the product allowed us to cut costs without risking the beauty and quality of the flooring. Even with the house empty, each day they cleaned up. The floor and baseboards look absolutely beautiful, including the tight spots and awkward cuttings needed in some areas. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend them. After doing lots of research, we initially got several quotes from flooring stores for both material and labor to see if we could get a better deal on such a big job. But the eventual buying of the LVT separately from a flooring wholesaler and then Kevin installing it, saved us several thousands of dollars. And, quite honestly, installation by someone whose livelihood depends on a job well done tells me he's going to do everything possible to make sure the customer is satisfied and happy - and we were. A job well done!

Kevin was great. I had 2 days left to complete a month long bathroom project along with everything else i needed to do to get my house on the market. with one day notice, Kevin was able to send Bo out to complete everything in the bathroom, allowing me to focus on cleaning the garage. Bo was very efficient. I was able to tell him what need to be done, and he just did it. Much better than the so-called Handyman I had helping me before. I wish I talked to Kevin a month early. I will definitely contact them for my next flooring need. Thank you!

Kevin did a great job with the floor. It looks much better than it did before, as there were some weak spots and missing joists in some areas of the house. He also repaired some strange stairs and leveled out some areas that were weird to walk on. The installed flooring looks great and all thresholds are even and look nice together. There was some confusion on whether he would install the painted baseboards that I provided, but in the end baseboards are easy for me to install so I will just do them myself. There was a slight scrape on the wall from them installing new subfloor, and when I pointed it out Kevin nicely fixed it before finishing the job. My only complaint is that Kevin seems to have alot of work, and so scheduling was slightly strange. My rental is currently empty and so it wasn't a big deal, but if I had wanted this done in a timely manner I don't think he would have been able to meet any deadlines.

Make sure you call Kevin as he will be the flooring expert you are looking for. Kevin and his crew were on time, professional, treated my project and my home like they would their own. Kevin's knowledge of product and his quick solutions to problems made having them in my home a pleasure. The floors installation is beautiful. True quality.

All facets of this process were seamless! Kevin DeBois responds to email promptly and professionally. His knowledge and expertise make doing this kind of project manageable. The installation went smoothly due to the excellent skills of Miguel and Beau, who worked tirelessly as a team. They moved the heavy furniture, removed all the old carpet, cleaned the subfloor and installed the new floor. Kevin, himself, worked with his team to complete the job. Their camaraderie created a joyful feeling throughout the day. At the end of the day they cleaned the staging areas and left my home in excellent condition. As a senior citizen I appreciate the attention to all aspects of the job and I recommend this company wholeheartedly.

I had done research on this product and was looking for a contractor (Angie's list) who installed them. I was very happy that Kevin at Installer Direct was familiar with and liked the product. Kevin is a very busy guy. It took a few calls back and forth until we were able to get the floors measured and then an estimate. He never forgot about me and always returned calls. Kevin's estimate (above) was only for installation. Flooring was purchased separately at flooring wholesaler. Two weeks later, Installer Direct was here to install flooring. Kevin's crew was polite and professional. I had requested that the washer and dryer be removed first to allow me to paint the room. The crew got to work protecting the area with covers and before I knew it, they had the old flooring out and installed new underlayment upstairs. Kevin always made a point to keep me updated with the progress and confirming our decisions for the project. The big job was not finished in one day, but Kevin and crew were sure to have the toilet up and operating for us that evening. After the grouting was complete, the rooms were put back to together and area cleaned up. Overall a good experience and we are happy with how things turned out and look.

I contacted Kevin because I needed the vinyl floor in my small bathroom replaced ASAP. He was able to get someone out the next day. Francisco was fabulous - did a great job, worked quickly, cleaned up after himself, and the floor looks fabulous. Kevin stayed in touch, and followed up to make sure everything was going well. It was a great experience - we are very pleased.

Showed up on time, did an excellent job, and cleaned after the work. Also recommended a carpet cleaning service that did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

We have a rental that had a cracked linoleum floor in the bathroom from an unknown cause. After tearing up the top layer, he found a crumbling layer underneath and a whole host of other issues. Kevin addressed each issue by calling to tell me what he found, discussing the solution and quoting the price. The job ended up taking longer than we thought, but it was well worth the investment to know that all the issues were resolved. The floor looks great. We are tremendously happy with Kevin's work and how easy he was to work with. We now need about 1200 square feet of carpet and will definitely use his services again.

I called Kevin to bid the carpet after being stood up twice by my last carpet installer, I was not happy to be sitting in a rental house waiting at 7 am on a Saturday for a guy that was cheaper, but did not value my business or time. I decided to try someone new, but who was recommended by my carpet supplier. I called Kevin and he came out and bid the job within a day, he showed up when he said he would. He listened to all of our ideas to make things cheaper and even made a suggestion on how to install a kick-board on the stairways to make the install less expensive. He was very open to our ideas on trying to save money by repairing a huge stain in white carpet rather than replacing, and he took a piece of carpet out of a closet and did the repair. Kevin and his crew did the job in a timely fashion, and everything looked great. We were delighted to see that he had fixed another area of carpet that we had planned to fix later....for free. He was on time, easy to communicate with, the work was excellent, and he even did a little extra that was not expected. I will definitely hire him again. Kevin also called about 2 weeks after the install to make sure that we were still satisfied, and that we were happy!

While the $2100 was for installation only, it included replacement of the subfloor in one of the bathrooms, and Kevin noticed and replaced waterlines on two of the toilets that were failing. He also gave us a break for the work my partner and I did, pulling the old carpet, padding and two layers of nasty vinyl. I had to call Kevin back to catch one seam that needed to be reset, but that repair was done promptly. Great overall experience!

Kevin was re commended to us by our R.C. Agent. He was prompt & courteous. His quote was good at the appointed time. He & his assistant arrived & installed 3 bed rooms, 1 stairway & re stretched 1 room. Work was excellent. Timely.

Everything was great, they showed up when they said they would, and did an excellent job. Kevin went out of his way to do little extra things, like vacuuming the back of our refrigerator off, when moving it out of the kitchen to install the vinyl. I highly recommend this contractor. The job looks perfect.
