Installer Direct Flooring

Kevin and his team are incredible. They are good people, make good recommendations if decisions need to be made, and perform excellent work. I feel very fortunate to have hired Installer Direct. I was most impressed when Kevin noticed that my water heater was leaking and offered to fix it. He saved me a ton of money and my house turned out awesome. Even though the work is done I consider Kevin and Bo friends.

The job went very smoothly and was finished on time. Kevin was very professional, friendly and helpful in every detail of the job. We’re very happy with the work done and our new floors!

They did a great job. Floor nice and solid and looks great. Unlike Home Solutions who was to do the work who only specialize in excuses and reasons not to do work Kevin and his team got it done. They do provide great work and solutions to problems and does the entire job. Would hire them again.

Kevin and his crew are awesome! They raised our subfloor & replaced carpet with vinyl in our living room and hallway, and made sure the transition from the kitchen was less of a bump for our wheelchair-bound daughter than it was before. They also widened her bedroom door frame and hung a sliding door for us. Everything looks great and was done quickly. Best of all, the whole crew was incredibly nice, especially to our daughter. Couldn't have asked for a better contractor here. Would definitely use them again!

Kevin Dubois came to my house in October. He measured out floors. We went over everything that I wanted in the project. At the end of the appointment, Kevin told me that he needed to put together an estimate and he would contact me within a week. After two weeks I hadn't heard anything from Kevin. I sent a text and called. Kevin did get back to me. He apologized for not getting the estimate completed and promised he would have it to me within the week. Well, it's now been 4 weeks later with no word from Kevin. The worst customer service I have experienced!

Kevin was responsive, on time and his crew did a fabulous job installing a LVT floor. Clearly these guys know what they're talking about and it shows in their work. Completely satisfied with the work and the experience we had with Kevin and crew. Thank you! Ed

Talked on the phone several times. He kept pushing our appointment back. Promised to call and follow up next week when things slowed down... but never did.

Great, they were very neat, clean and professional!!! Will hire them again on future jobs.

Happy with the work. Francisco did the work and did a good job. Kevin was always very responsive and prompt in communications. I am still loving the vinyl. I'm so glad I splurged on that. Everyone who sees it loves it.

Well, flooring is in...not what I wanted, but looks ok... there were issues of timing that I felt could have been resolved with better time management on company's part. I contacted them on 7/6/16 and flooring was put in Sept although promised much sooner than that...I could not wait any longer having a large mortgage on the place, so accepted flooring other than what I originally wanted.

They showed up to do their work when they said they would show up. The quality of work was very high

Kevin gave an estimate and suggested a place to look at replacement tile. At the tile store folks knew him and said he was great. We told Kevin what tiles to get. The tiles would take a bit of time so Kevin suggested he and his crew come in earlier and do the underlayment so we could use the kitchen since it had been cut up. They did a great job on that. Came exactly when they said they would and were done when they said they would be. When the tile came in they returned and installed the tile, trim, and transitions that I wanted. Because there was water damage on one of the cabinets he repaired that as well and suggested I put in a dishwasher pan under the dishwasher since it was pulled out which we ordered and he placed for us. Once it was all in I didn't care for the fake look of the transitions. That was my fault since I told Kevin to order those instead of what he suggested. (Wood to match the existing floors on either side of the walk through kitchen.) He was great...once I got the transitions he sent someone over to put them in and now the floor is perfect. Had I listened to Kevin in the first place I wouldn't have had to have that done but he charged me an amazingly fair price so I didn't feel so bad. I would use them again without a second thought. They were super professional and nice people.

Kevin and his crew are the best. Easy to work with, knowledgable, accommodating and did a fabulous job.

They were very professional. Showed up exactly when they said they would, communicated well, and carpeted my house, including the stairs, in 1 1/2 days. They brought their own lunch and drinks in order to save time, and really did a fantastic job. Cleaned up everything and were gone before we knew it. I would highly recommend them. In fact, I signed up for Angie's list just to be able to let everyone know what a nice job they did.

They were prompt and professional and do a high quality job. Kevin was very helpful from start to finish, making sure we were informed when we picked out our carpet and getting the quality and style we wanted, all the way to following up with is after the job was finished making sure we were pleased with the work performed. I always recommend Kevin and company to my friends and family who need carpet!

We went to wholesale flooring place he recommended and looked at lots of tile and carpet. Can't decide yet what to do, on floor and other aspects of re-doing room. But we will hire him once we decide. Kevin was a great guy. Fun to talk to; seemed very genuine and honest. And he was able to tell me about heat pumps to boot! (which helped us decide to get a ductless heating and cooling system, which uses a type of heat pump)

The quality of the work was great, Kevin's guy was a hard worker and clearly skilled at floors. The finished floor looks really nice. In a nutshell: it was good work at a fair price. I would definitely consider using them again.

Kevin's responses were prompt. He arrived to the job when he said he would. He made the job look easy and I still wouldn't do it myself. Very professional, personable and a great instructor to his helper to bring him along in the trade.Good job guys! Would definitely use him again and recommend to others.

Excellent service from Kevin. He assisted us in picking out carpet with suggestions based on living style, and we were very happy with the company he referred us to in selecting carpet. Price was very good for the quality we chose. He did the job as he told us he would, on time. A pleasure to work with Kevin, very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about his craft! We highly recommend him as a service provider. We are recommending him to our other family members and friends.

I did not hear from them and had to have someone from Angie's List reach out to them for me. I had some trouble selecting the tile but after I did and contacted him, he wanted another phone number. I no longer feel comfortable with the deal.

I did not end up using them due to scheduling miscommunication.

After being stood up by another installer (who is not to be found on Angie's List), Kevin was delightful. Really nice attitude, nice workers, good advice on products. Good installation, cleanup, price. Would definitely use him again and recommend him.

Great. Kevin Dubois set up the plan and helped with some of the labor. One of his assistants, Bo, did the bulk of the work. Bo and Kevin are meticulous in performing their work. They clean up well after completion. The vinyl tile looks great and works really well in the bath where ceramic tile would be much colder and not have as much cushion. The vinyl tile is also less expensive to install.

Everything went great! Both the tile guy & plumber were very personable & on time. We were happy with work. The quality is great & I've had no problems since installation!

Kevin and Bo were a pleasure to work with. Once the job was scheduled everything was very prompt and timely. Bo went out of his way to do a fantastic job on installing the tile floor. He cleaned up black mold found under the old floor and repaired a toilet flange and wax ring resolving a toilet leak problem we didn't know we had. He was very informative and worked hard to complete the job in a timely fashion and in HOT conditions. The floor looks beautiful and SO much better than ugly vinyl.
