DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They under quote you on purpose to get your business. This was confirmed by their foreman. His job is to get you to buy more space for an 18% commission. They will tell you it will be 21 days for delivery but then the foreman tells you that it's 21 business days. Then when the truck driver gets on the road he'll magically have to get a repair for his truck which he should have known about beforehand because this according to him and full house movers was a routine repair based on his mileage. Then he had to stop in Arizona for Thanksgiving and his birthday. When full house movers realized that we were passed the 21 business day mark they gave us a measly $220 discount while my 7 month pregnant wife and I (with a bad back) slept on air mattresses for over a month. When they finally got there to deliver they quickly unloaded the truck and through the chaos we didn't realize that we were missing a few things. When we finally realized that a couple of things were missing we alerted full house movers they had us fill out a claim and told us that they'd try to locate our missing items. Now they won't return our calls. We've left messages on their answering machine that tells us that they will call us back within 24 hours but that's obviously a lie. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! FOR YOUR OWN SANITY! THEY ARE NOT CHEAPER AND THEY KNOWINGLY LIE TO YOU! SPEND THE EXTRA FEW DOLLARS ON A MORE REPUTABLE COMPANY WHETHER YOU ARE MOVING LOCALLY OR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS MOVING ACROSS THE COUNTRY!

Literally they picked up our things the following day from the initial call after another company couldn’t provide the services we requested.They saved us! My daughter lived in Washington state and had to catch a plane on Friday to CT. On Wednesday night before the flight the previous movers couldn’t find someone to fulfill the contract and Move her . That same night full house called picked her things up the next day. They stored it for 2 weeks and shipped to a 2nd company the rest of the way to our home. The price was the best I’ve gotten for a quote and the guys who packed did a quick and excellent job. The second company was quick and excellent as well delivering all our things in perfect condition. This is our first moving experience and we’re very happy with full house especially when reading so many nightmare reviews on moving companies.

We paid nearly $11,000 dollars for a cross country move. They promised us that the truck would be professionally unpacked by professional movers that were employees of their company. In reality, the truck driver hired day workers from Craigslist and off the street walking by who had never done moving before. They dragged our furniture and we had to assist them and pack the items into the storage unit ourselves. Hayley was so nice but lied to us as she promised us the whole move would be done by professionals that work for the company, not contracted first time laborers. In addition they screened the calls from myself and my wife: they didn't answer the call until I used a relative's phone. THIS WAS AN EXTREMELY TERRIBLE MOVING EXPERIENCE AND THEY DID NOT FULFILL THE CONTRACT THAT THEY AGREED TO. Because we had to assist ourselves we weren't able to ensure all our items arrived and they made us pay the money up front so we had no recourse. This was a contract of adhesion and we were taken advantage of as the customer. They did not fulfill their contract and ignored our complaints.

I moved from Seattle to Washington DC on 4 July with Full House Movers. Heidi called me after I filled out an online form for movers in general. I was going to use PODS but their container was too small & Heidi told me she could find guys to collect my stuff on July 4th & they would get them on a truck to DC by 7 July then it would take 14 days for them to to get to DC I gave Heidi a delivery address & left Seattle on 5 July. By the end of that week I called Heidi to find out where my goods were & she sounded vague, saying she would find out from dispatch. I told her I needed to give her a different delivery address & she said it was fine. The following Monday I called to find out where my goods were & she said I had to speak to someone called Richard from dispatch. I emailed her my new delivery address then called again to ask where my goods were. Finally a guy called Richard called to tell me that my good were only leaving Seattle on 16 July, 11 days after my departure, & would take 14 business days to arrive in Washington DC. I'm staying in a hotel where I am paying $150 a day & I have had to keep extending my stay. I was supposed to get my goods on 17 July but now there is no guarantee that I will even get my goods by the end of the month I'm spending a fortune on hotels & Full House Movers has not been honest about your business practices which has led me to spend an extra two weeks in a hotel at $150 a night. I will do whatever is necessary to ensure you pay for that. I'm a finance professional & a tax expert so I've been trying to understand why my first payment was payable by credit card while the other half to be payable on delivery has to be paid in cash or money order. I talk to the IRS everyday & this whole transaction has been a scam which needs close scrutiny. Even those reviews you have are fake & as a seasoned blogger, I can tell. I'm horrified such shocking business practices exist in America. Heidi was the sweet 'Moving Girl' until I had signed & paid then she sent my household goods to a warehouse for 2 weeks without any sense of urgency that I need them immediately. Now she acts dumb when I ask about the delivery date. I was her customer, it was her job to follow up with the dispatch team & put my furniture on a truck by 7 July. The whole moving industry is full of ******** but I won't pay for your bad service!

This list of mistakes by Richard their dispatcher is too long to go into. He doesn't return calls and when he does he is unhelpful. One of his worst moments is when he told my husband that "maybe we will pack your stuff this weekend" of couse it was another week until they packed our stuff andf showed up 3 days early. This is complicated because here in Hermosa beach you need to pay $300 for a large truck parking permit for the exact day. When the truck driver calls on Sunday and says Ill be there in 24 it causes a problem. We had to take off work early to meet the truck (said 4:00-6:00) they didn't show up till 7:30 and the movers started unpacking at 8:30pm. The poor toddler across the street was screaming at 1:30 AM becasue we were out there until 2:30. The local guys couldn't finish the job because the hardware couldn't be found. Also stopped moving boxes in due to the lack of labeling. Seriously! Don't waste your time, money and sanity. I've done several big moves before and never had any problems. Trust all the bad reviews here.

We used this company for two moves this year -- the first when we moved furniture and boxes in preparation for putting the house on the market, then again to move the rest of our belongings after the house was sold. These guys are fantastic! From the super responsive office team (had my bid in less than an hour) to the professional and friendly moving teams these guys are top notch. I really enjoyed using the online booking tool, as it seemed more "legit" and I have this constant fear that the movers are not going to show up. Never fear: Two days before the move they called to confirm and get extra details. Ricardo and his team arrived promptly at 8:57 am for my 9-10 am window and got straight to work. They were incredibly courteous, efficient and professional and made our move smooth and painless. Would definitely recommend!!

Most online reviews for this place are awful and my experience has been TERRIBLE!! Honestly just the worst moving company ever!!!! So they quoted us about $2200 to move, showed up and wanted an extra $1200!!!! I hadn't accumulated anything extra in the week or two since talking to them, but no way was I going to pay $1200! I had to move that day so I threw away and gave away a bunch of our stuff and STILL ended up paying over $2600. Unbelievable. Then to top it all off, they just left our stuff in the truck and never moved at all for two weeks!!! Meanwhile we are calling about our stuff, dispatch never knows where they are, when they are coming or anything useful. Now we just get voicemail. We can't reach the drivers, for all we know they took off with our stuff and we'll never see it again! Last i heard it had been two weeks and they still hadn't even started driving with our stuff yet. The driver blamed it on the dispatcher and the dispatcher blamed it on the weather. 😡 We are out even more money because we couldn't stay in our new house yet without any sort of clothes, furniture, dishes, baby stuff, etc. We had just the essentials for a week to week and a half (a reasonable amount of time for the transition), and a very short term place to stay, just enough time for them to arrive with the stuff. My husband had to delay starting his new job because his work clothes and tools are on the truck which NEVER EVEN LEFT for two whole weeks!! I mean seriously, ***??? Not to mention we had to extend our stay (more money), eat out because we have nothing to cook with (more money), find somewhere to launder our clothes (more money), get a few things for the baby, it's just positively unreal. Oh and I just found out they used to go by the name Triple 7 Movers in Nevada, then went to California and went by the name Full house movers, then moved to Washington but kept the name. They've had countless complaints and were investigated by the BBB, then they shut down. Only to pop up elsewhere.

To say this didn't go well is an understatement. They were the least expensive of the bids that I got, which I should have followed "you get what you pay for" mantra. They show up with a crew of 5 people. I go through the top level of the house only with the foreman telling him what goes to storage and what goes to the house. They begin packing. At no time do they place any paper or cardboard on the floors for protection, which has happened in my past moves. After the top level I go through the basement and telling him the same thing. I had to correct them multiple times throughout the day. While there one mover punched a hole in the basement ceiling with a shelf with myself and the foreman standing there. Then they think they are done, but didn't ask me about the sub-basement which I then show them and they packed. They finished with no other house issues. Then the real problems started. The truck was several days late, but that was due to weather so it wasn't their fault. The truck arrives to the house first. Again no placement of cardboard on the floors to protect them. As we go through the manifest, the boxes only have numbers with no explanation of where they are from. Most of the boxes also have no labels so we have no way of identifying where they go. One of the two legs of my less than a year old nice patio table doesn't arrive. The vacuum is broken. The pump to one of our two sleep number beds is missing. They refuse to put the bunk bed back together stating it is policy. They start putting my bed together and don't even ask how I want it orientated, and place the rug down partly going up the wall. Multiple boxes and or objects had no sticker. We have 8 unaccounted for boxes, some of which had precious things in them. Now the next day I meet them at the storage. This went more smoothly, but still had multiple missing boxes and boxes without stickers. Nearly all the boxes were not labeled so I had no idea what was in them or what they are to. The table leg doesn't show up. As far as I know none of the furniture is damaged. although tough to tell through the packing blankets. Now I have to go through every box in my 10 x 20 foot storage to discover what is in there and to see what is missing. I try to call them and they won't answer the phone or return my calls. Now I maybe forced to get lawyers involved...Whatever you do, do not use this company. They are a joke. You and your stuff will pay for it...if you ever get it

.. But that didn't happen. Here's what transpired: I scheduled them to move me in late June 190 miles away. I asked them if they did onsite estimates, and they said no. So, I annoyingly had to read off an inventory list of the contents of my 1250 sq. ft. apartment and storage unit. I was quoted $1800 (with a $300 deposit), which honestly seemed a bit low, but I agreed to it. I was told that there was a two day window for load, and up to fourteen business days for delivery. I thought about halting the entire thing right then and there, but with late June and early July being the busiest moving time of the year and us not wanting to pay another month of rent, we felt we had no choice. In retrospect, I should've obeyed my gut. The moving truck showed up on on the day I requested. The driver called me to say he was almost to the apartment complex. I had told the move coordinator I wanted them to go to my storage unit first, but I guess that wasn't passed along. I asked the driver if he could head to the storage unit first. There was a long pause on the phone (not a good sign), and he then proceeded to ask me for the address. I said, "You mean you don't have it?", and he told me no. My irritation ever increasing, I gave him the address and said I would meet them there. We arrived at the storage unit roughly at the same time. The driver got out of the truck and looked very condused. Again, not a good sign. As I showed him the contents of the unit, he began scratching his head and told me he didn't have enough room in the truck. Flabbergasted, I asked what he meant by that. He told me they didn't have room for both the apartment and the storage unit. By this point I'm pretty close to angry. However, I wasn't completely fretting because I actually had another month on the storage unit. So I told him not to bother with the storage unit and head to the apartment. We got back to the apartment, and went inside with the driver. I showed him around and the items that were to go. Again, he began scratching his head. I blurted out, "Please tell me that you have room for at least this stuff!" He beckoned me to follow him to the truck. He opened up the cargo door, and gesturing around and told me "This is the space I have." The space would barely have been enough dor a typical one-bedroom apartment. It turned out that the truck was alrwady two-thirds full! While I realize this is not an uncommon practice, the moving coordinator said NOTHING about my load being combined with others. Needless to say, I was very angry and ready to punch someone at this point. The driver kept profusely apologizing for the incident. I told him to go ahead and leave, which he peomptly did. I immediately called the company office (whuch was closed by this time) and left a rather scathing message on the phone about what had occurred, and that I wanted my deposit refunded. We ended up having to stay an extra week at the apartment, which cost us a $600 prorate from the leasing office. Luckily I was able to schedule another moving company a few days later, who provided a far, far better service. I guess in conclusion, I cannot by any means recommend this mover. Upon further research, I found that other customers were equally dissatisfied with their "service". Showing up late, lost and damaged items, and mixed up loads were common complaints. And in my case, it was either severe clerical error or poor communication (I'm not sure which). I was not informed there would be multiple loads and the driver did not even know that my storage unit existed. So, yeah.. for your moving needs, please steer clear of this company.
