I am a returning customer to Central Construction and when I contacted the office they remembered me which I think is always a plus. The job was delayed one day due to traffic problems and unexpected problems at the site prior to my scheduled work. Kyle showed up a half hour earlier than the rescheduled install and he and his worker got right to work. They were meticulous in making sure that the double gate was not only attractive but that it fit in the opening between the fence and the shed properly as the support areas for the gates were slightly offset. I had noticed a couple of things that I was not totally pleased with in my original design of the gates and we discussed some changes that made the gate design more attractive. Kyle even went so far as to make a special trip to the hardware store to replace the gate latch I had provided so that it would better match the hinges that he had brought. They were polite and very accommodating to me and cleaned up the entire area including the public sidewalk area which they had used to do the actual building of the gates. I would not hesitate for a second on hiring this company for your fencing needs whether it be new construction or repair.

I had Jody meet me for an estimate at the property before our purchase had gone through. She was punctual and friendly and listened to what I wanted. She took measurements and told me that she would get back to me with the best price as soon as she heard back from her suppliers. I got her response within 48 hours and agreed to the pricing - we set a start date and the work began as scheduled. I changed my mind about what I wanted, and where I wanted it, about 6 or 7 times. Everyone was very friendly and patient with me and understood that things happen to change what we need. Lynne came out and walked the property with me again and revised the bid, which was again agreeable. There was a crew of 3 guys that installed the fence - they were all very friendly and hard-working, and coordinated their efforts with our landscaper who was also performing work at the same time. I have already recommended Central Construction and Fence to my friends and some of my neighbors came over and spoke with them while they were working here, for them to put up fences for their houses. That is how you know what a good job they did!

Our experience with them was excellent. We had a deadline because we had company coming, and by the time we decided which company to use, it was getting kind of down to crunch time. They said that they would have it done by that day. They came by in the afternoon after other jobs and worked on it and got it done. They did their work without bothering us; they did not ask or deal with us very much but were very friendly if we came outside or anything. They were very professional about their work and very nice. If we had a question, they were willing to answer. They were very good about cleaning up and taking off their stuff, which was anyways part of the cost. They really met the deadline when it was down to the end. Even when we informed them that the company that we were expecting was a few days late, they just went ahead and had it done that day. They did a good job. We had looked at two companies; they were willing to bend in terms of the price whereas the other company did not. We would use them again in the future if necessary.

We met the co-owner of Central Construction Fence and Deck at the Seattle Flower/Garden show. We talked with him about their approach to doing cedar fencing and were impressed. We had Central bid, along with two other reputable and recommended fence companies, on doing about 80' of 6' high cedar fencing. Central was the most competitive and when we checked their references, the customers we spoke with loved them. They showed up on time, did very tidy work and a good job of cleaning up. They even 'tuned up' part of our neighbor's fence which had never been properly finished; since this part of our neighbor's fence is right next to part of our front yard, we really appreciated that little bonus. We had Central come back and do about 30' of custom trellis fencing. This was quite a bit more expensive, but they build the lattice themselves, slat by slat. It's much better quality than what you get at the big box stores or, for that matter, from most fencing contractors. It looks great. They are very nice people and a pleasure to work with. The actual work crew was very timely; there were some little delays getting the estimates which is why they're getting a 'good' on that point instead of 'excellent'. All in all, we highly recommend Central and will use them again if we need more fencing work.

I wasn't pleased with them and I only used them one time. They were not prompt in returning calls and I had to leave several messages. Before actually contacting with them they were prompt in calling me back but after we placed our order and they had our money, then it kind of went downhill from there. The lady said she was sick which I can relate to but not to stay sick for the entire duration of the project. We said we would install the hand rail ourselves but she said that it would be all put together and that they would deliver it all put to together so that we could just install it. When we finally got it, it was in a box and I would say there was at least a hundred plus pieces. There was no instructions with it so they had to email the instructions. It was just not a good experience and I would not recommend them at all. I was very disappointed with them. We went ahead and just did the best we could to get it up.

Their bid was the lowest. They were very professional. I liked them very much. The only reason I went with another provider was I like him better, and he was closer as well as local.

Central Construction was a pleasure to work with. The staff who came out to do the estimate were pleasant, attentive to detail and responsive to my questions. They had some good tips and suggestions on how to address a couple problem areas as well. The work crew was professional, efficient, and happy to explain what they were doing at a given time. They worked neatly, avoided damaging existing landscaping and cleaned up throughly when they were finished. Part of this project was done in conjunction with our neighbor (property line fence) and Central Construction did a great job working with both of us to split the billing of that portion and add additional portions to each bill. The fence is very well build and looks great - we get lots of compliments on it.

Outstanding! Great crew. Advised and consulted along the way so that the fence was constructed to my specifications. Prompt, courteous and professional.

Kyle came out to look over what we wanted done and was able to give us some cost saving suggestions. We received the estimate a couple of days later and they had broken it down into different projects with a cost for each and offered a nice discount based on how many projects we would do. All of the projects were done over a 2 week period and we are happy with the results. Lynne, the office contact and Kyle were very easy and pleasant to work with. After the work was completed, Kyle told us to call them if we noticed anything wrong no matter how minor. True to their word I noticed a strange white residue in a couple of small areas on the deck. I called them that afternoon, Lynne called me back the next business day and Kyle came out right away and took care of it.

The owner was wonderful and we liked him. They came and gave us an estimate and we called them three months later to go ahead. They came out and finished the work in a day. The work was great and we are enjoying it.

Provided estimate the very day I called and began work the next day. Replacing the fence was a two-day job and they worked in sections so during the 12 hour period between days one and two my dogs were allowed to go into the backyard. When I discovered one escape artist made it out by going under the fence they immediately came out the next day and poured concrete under the fence; no escapes for the last two weeks. I was so impressed they're going to repair and upgrade my deck. Highly recommend them.

Tear-down crew showed up on time. The old fence was gone in a day and the new posts installed. Three days later, they returned and put up the new fence (a 2 day project). They also "racoon-proofed" the fence along the deck, using cyclone fencing on top of the cedar and burying it one foot into the ground. The mess was completely cleaned up when they left.

Very responsive to all questions and provided multiple quotes and options. I had them first replace a 32 privacy enclosure. It was replacement of existing structure, which they tore down and hauled off. The completed all the work in very timely and professional manner. I had them come back a week or so after completing the project to do another small job. I was very satisfied the office (Lynne) and Kyle and his crew. Pricing was very good for the work performed.

They were on time, pleasant and made several changes during construction per my request. No arguments or price changes. I have used this company before for fencing and fence repairs and they have always given me excellent service and the materials were top notch.

The company needed to renew their Federal Way business license which delayed the start of the project by a few days. The company is now located in Puyallup which caused some confusion.

If they couldn't do something right away, they would call and leave me a message. I have no complaints. I am so impressed with them. They stayed on top of everything. There was one gate that didn't fit quite right, but they continued to work on it without asking me for the rest of the payment, because they want it done right. They are very diligent in the way they do things. They cleaned up great. They had great communication, I never had to wonder what they were doing.

Stacey (owner) came to my home to take measurements and notes with regards to an estimate on a vinyl fence then subsequently failed to contact me with further information OR the bid which was requested. Phone calls also went ignored. Very unprofessional.

We had been considering replacing our fence for a while and received an estimate of $5k from them before the big storm. After the storm, even though they were in high demand, they stuck with their original estimate. It took a while to get on their schedule, but, on the day scheduled, they arrived on time and completed the work according to their estimate over the course of two days. The fence is beautiful, and the gates they built fit perfectly and swing like a dream. The workers were courteous and careful -- none of our landscaping was harmed, and they cleaned up afterwards. We'll definitely consider hiring them again when we get around to replacing our deck!

THE ESTIMATE BY STACEY, THE OWNER, WAS PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. SAME FOR THE QUALITY OF THE WORK--WELL DONE AND I EXPECT THAT THESE BOARDS WILL HOLD UP FOR QUITE SOME TIME. I DID HAVE SOME PROBLEMS WITH HAVING PHONE CALLS RETURNED IN A TIMELY MANNER. APPARENTLY THERE IS ONLY 1 PERSON STAFFING THE OFFICE AND ALTHOUGH SHE WAS VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL, MY SCHEDULING WINDOW WAS FAIRLY TIGHT AND I DIDN'T GET PHONE CALLS RETURNED AS QUICKLY AS I WOULD LIKE. THE INSTALLERS WERE ABOUT 20 MINUTES LATE AND DIDN'T CALL TO LET ME KNOW--I HAD TO CALL THE OFFICE TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON. OTHER THAN THESE SCHEDULING GLITCHES, I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK AND WE WERE ABLE TO GET MY PROJECT DONE FAIRLY QUICKLY.

VERY PLEASED WITH THE DRAWINGS THEY PROVIDED PRIOR TO BEGINNING THE WORK. WE KNEW ACTUALLY WHAT WE WERE GOING TO GET AND WHAT TO EXPECT. THESE FOLKS ACTUALLY DID SOME MODIFICATIONS WHEN THE BUILDING INSPECTOR DIDN'T LIKE WHAT HE SAW.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE WHOLE JOB. THE OWNER CAME OUT TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE AND WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY WERE ABOUT 6 WEEKS OUT, BUT SHE GOT ME IN, IN ABOUT A WEEK OR TWO, BECAUSE I EXPRESSED IN INTEREST IN GETTING IT DONE SOONER, FOR THE SUMMER. I WAS VERY APPRECIATIVE. THEY DID A GREAT JOB!
