AAA Pest Control

I found AAA Pest Control on Angie's List after some little ants decided to take up residence in our kitchen. Susan (the owner) was very helpful on the phone (and VERY knowledgable about our little ants and general pests in the Pacific Northwest) and scheduled Chris to come over the next day to treat for the ants. Chris arrived on time, was dressed professionally, covered his shoes when he entered our house, and provided a thorough explanation of the recommended treatment after I showed him our problem. He was pleasant, efficient, and very tidy. We know these little ants can be difficult to get rid of, but we're hoping this did the trick!

Ah, the wasp summer of 2013. We'd been successful in getting rid of wasps building nests in our eaves, but these were deep in the backyard stone work, so we had no luck with our spray. AAA came out the day after we called and, viola, no more wasps. Using our Angie's List coupon the price was reasonable, too.

I called the # given and spoke with a very knowledgeable and helpful lady who set up the appointment for the next day. Chris, the tech, arrived on time and proceeded to get to work. He drilled a small hole in the area of the entrance and sprayed a powder in to target the nest. He proceeded to explain that any bees that were not in the nest at the time will get that powder on them when they return and also be exterminated. The process may take 2-5 days. The next day there was very little action, if any, so our problem was solved. Plus the work was guaranteed so if for some reason the spray didn't reach the nest, he would come out and spray in a different spot. I would definitely recommend them and/or use them again. Note: I had called a couple of providers from Angie's List and they all charged the same amount, however, AAA offered a $25 discount coupon (that took the price from $159 down to $134+tax) and they were able to respond more promptly. That sealed the deal.

We had an urgent need,as carpenters were in construction to replace a deck for us. From the list you providedd We decided on AAA pest control because of the number that had been reported to you with "A" rating. The company was here within 2 hours, so our construction wasn't held up at all. Thanks for YOUR references.

Called and got a phone consultation/estimate from Sue. She was very knowledgable and diagnosed the pest right away as a moisture any (other companies said it may be termites, but wouldn't know for sure until after an in-home diagnosis). The estimate was very competitive, especially with the discount through Angie's List. Franklin came the same day and was right on time. He sprayed the infested area and even sprayed the perimeter of the house.

They treated the house 12 months prior but the ants came back. I had a 12 month warranty so they honored the warranty and came back to retreat. Very professional and accomodating

They showed up on time and had the job done in a very short time. I have not had any issues since. I would use them again.

We could hear a weird noise in the wall and thought maybe a squirrel or bird was in the attic/wall, but after watching the roof near the chimney we discovered a Seattle style congested freeway of yellow jackets coming and going. My husband kept telling me they were eating the wood in the wall and the house was going to fall down (we'll that's not exactly what he said, but you get my point, which was that I was quite panicked to get someone in to help us). We have used AAA Pest Control in the past (for ants, rodents - thats right we've got it all going on here) and they are super accommodating. They come to Vashon every Wednesday. Chris came and confirmed it was yellow jackets, (3rd house on Vashon that day!). Turns out yellow jackets eat drywall not wood, but I'm happy to report all our bees are now in the garden and not the attic wall!

Bees died off within a few days. Satisfied. Good prompt service. Explained everything. Would have wanted them to removed the nest after they'd died off

He gave me a great deal. I did have some trouble trying to get a hold of him.

This was actually a very good experience considering the problem. All of the people I spoke with were very nice and responsive. The technician, Chris, was terrific. I did not feel uncomfortable at all and he was extremely professional and helpful. I was especially pleased that he did not use poison, but a natural ingredient, in his treatment of the problem. I definitely recommend use of this company!

We were experiencing problems with spiders. I went to Angie's list and found AAA Pest Control. When I called the receptionist was quite cordial. I made an appointment for one of their employees to come and visit the home. The man came and first walked around the house, then gave me an estimate which was satisfactory. He sprayed all around the house and made appointments to come back later for follow-up. We are no longer bothered with spiders.

The pest removal guy seemed knowledgeable and efficient. After the first treatment, the hornets didn't all leave, so I called them back and they honored the warranty of their work, and came right back out and re-treated the area, and that did the trick. I would recommend them to others, and I would use them again, if "new visitors" show up next summer.

It was a great experience. Mike was punctual, and a very pleasant person. He listened to my concerns carefully, gave clear and easy to understand descrriptions of what was going on, and what needed to be done about it. He was very professional and obviously very competent at what he does. I feel very confident that the problem has been resolved.

Contacted AAA Pest Control after using them previously to handle exterior pest spraying and crawl space rat extermination. The do not provide animal control services for things such as squirrels. However, rather than just tell me that they couldn't help, the representative took the time to advise me on possible do-it-yourself solutions as well as referrals for recommended companies should I want a professional to do the work. I really appreciated the genuine helpfulness of the representative and would definitely use AAA Pest Control again should I ever have a need.

They did a really good job; very extensive work. I was very pleased with the service.

We had a problem with a bees nest at the house. Called AAA Pest Control because of their ad in the Angie's List magazine. Called a toll-free number and received a quote of $139. The man transferred me to a different person to schedule the work. They were able to get someone out the same day. The technician, Frank, was great. He was friendly and professional. The only snag was in the bill; it was different from the phone quote I received earlier in the day. I ended up paying $149 + tax. That's still a fair price. But, it's not a good customer experience. It's what we all dread. I would still recommend AAA Pest Control. I just wish they had consistent pricing from start to finish.

Mike arrived exactly on time and was ready to work. We discussed the hornets first, that we thought had been building nests high in the cathedral ceilings of our homes. It turns out that what I thought from a distance were nests - were not at all - but cracks in the ceilings and the wasps were flying in and around the openings. Mike carefully probed the openings and could not find any nests whatsoever. Solution is we need to calk those cracks adn consider putting screens on our doors and windows. We next looked at the rat situation and although there are no rats now, it was a mystery to us to find two dead rats in the master bedroom's walk-in closet last winter. How did the rats enter? No rats or droppings anywhere else in the house. Mike used his flashlight and probed and found large holes in the crawl space (between 1st and 2nd floors) directly underneath the closet's sliding pocket door. We will call the contractor who built our house to seal up the hole in the crawl space. We looked at the many small ants inside and outside of the houses and found many points of entry. Mike thoroughly sprayed the outside of both houses. He also gave me many small ant traps that had boric acid among other things and told me to put them on the counters and other spots around the house and to ensure that no food and water are left out at night so that the ants go directly to the bait. The carpenter ants were found in several places but most notably in a garden area that had "railroad ties" as the building material for the bulkheads. The entire area was sprayed with carpenter ant spray. Mike was here for many hours and was incredibly thorough with his work and also answering our many questions and educating us about how to prevent these varous pests from overtaking our lives in the future.

AAA is excellent. Their pricing is fair. In my experience, they have been very responsive, and very helpful. I had a nasty bee problem in my attic, when I first started using them. Yellow Jackets had built a huge nest. AAA responded right away, and took good care of it. They explained, and provided very good service. I will continue my contract with them.

We had a good time dealing with them. They did a good job. Their prices are pretty reasonable.

We are very pleased with their services. They come three or four times a year.
