AAA Pest Control

Overall, everything went fine and it worked out well. They did exactly what they said they would do. Of course with pest control, they make no guarantees which I understand and it was not an issue. I was pleased with the service, charged what they said they would, and showed up on time.

The technician that came to our home was very polite, punctual, articulate and generally seemed to be a great guy. He made 3 visits over 2 months with the purpose of ridding our home of rats. The first visit I showed the technician the limited area of our house where we had consistently seen droppings and smelled rodents and he identified 4 possible entry points and set traps. When he returned a week and a half later the traps were all empty but we hadn't yet sealed the identified possible entry points (our mistake!). The next day we sealed all the entry points and waited. At two weeks out we still had rat activity and no rats caught so I decided to give it a bit longer and rescheduled the 3rd follow-up visit hoping that a little more time would give the traps and sealed entry points a chance to work. Still the traps remained empty. On the third visit I had the tech remove the traps since nothing had been caught in almost two months of trying and I was hopeful maybe the rats had moved on. Unfortunately we still have rats! Daily droppings and a worsening smell. When I called AAA Pest Control again it took three calls over 10 days to get someone to call me back. They said they will come to our home again but may need to charge more because it's been over a month since their last visit. They will send the same technician to do the same evaluation. I don't think I'll have them come again, I feel my time and money will be better spent trying to address the problem myself even though I have no experience.

I will not do business with the company

The job went just fine, except my son liked the ant hill. Jonny was disappointed to see the large ant hill destroyed. But it is gone along with the ant's that were coming in the house. Thanks Max.

Nacho was great. He was prompt, friendly and thorough. Even with a coupon the price was far more than other companies, but i would still recommend based on my experience so far. There will be more visits made in the next month to check for more signs of rodents.

Jeff was very porofessional; he arrived on time and thoroughly inspected the premises. He gave us information on how the rat might be accessing the crawl space and recommendations. Most importantly, the rat was eliminated and access points closed. I would definitely use this company again.

Had two bee infestations in my yard (kids' main play area) treated - one up in a tree, the other near the ground in a retaining wall. AAA Pest Control treated the nests while we were away from the house; we returned approximately three hours afterwards and haven't seen any evidence that there was ever a bee problem - even three week later!

I was referred to them by my realtor. Mr. Ziedarth is the pest technician. They are a great company and their prices are better than the other pest control companies.

Called on Saturday - they were unavailable that day but were able to come out the following Monday. Showed up on time, asked a few questions looked at the area. He went outside and sprayed the two different entrances the yellowjackets were using to access the nest in the wall. Gave us some tips on what to look for. Offered to come back in two weeks if insects were still using same access points. Took credit card info - we initially forgot to provide the coupon. We called later that day with info on the coupon and they accepted immediately. Overall, couldn't have asked for much more.

The technician, Mike, was very punctual, courteous, and professional. He gave us what we needed and didn't push for extra services, etc.

The technician, Mike Zebarth called before he came as I had requested . He was very punctual and professional. He completed the job quickly and I would not hesitate to use this company again. In fact I might sign up for the service on a regular basis for all pest control. I would reccomend this company to anyone.

My experience was just awesome! First of all, none of the other extermination companies I called would sell me just the product. Since I needed to spray an entire apartment building, I couldn't afford to pay a professional to come out to do all the units and the exterior. So finding just the product and doing to work myself was crucial. Then Joe, the manager, spent about 20 minutes with me. He explained exactly how to use the product and answered my many many questions. I felt quite confident I would be able to do as good a job and most professional exterminators after talking with him. The product, Cy-Kick, worked as well as Joe said it would. My tenants are extremely happy that the ants and spiders are done (they all died the same day), and I am thrilled I didn't need an onsite visit, and I still have enough product for another application later this season.

They were wonderful. They were very proficient and on time. They did the work that was asked of them. They told me what the problem was and how it happened. I hope I do not have to, but I would hire them in the future if needed.

From the phone call to arrival was a quick 24 hours. The price was higher then the other top rated Angie's List companies, but they also returned for for a total of three visits and not just two like others. Upon arrival, the plugged the hole the rats were using(an old mole hole-a good reason to get rid of any moles you have)and set 17 traps to catch any remaining in the crawl space. Put out bait traps outside to reduce the population in our garden. The inspector was to return 8 days later, but they canceled the day before due to snow that fell-but left the message on my business line which if they listened mentioned I was on vacation for two weeks. They never attempted to call us at our home number which left us wondering why they were not arriving. Another 5 days later and we had them back again. Only one rat trapped. On the next visit, no additional sign of rats in the traps so we are hopeful that all are gone. We purchased a bait trap and three rat traps from AAA to use on a ongoing basis. Two things that I wish were different in our experience with AAA Pest Control. The first is that I have the slight feeling that the rat that was suppose to be trapped in our crawl space may not have been from our home. We had asked the inspector if we could see the rat he had caught and he retrieved it from his truck in a plastic bag. When he opened the bag he commented that it was all "dried up from sitting on our heating duct for a week or two". What hit me as odd was that I don't recall him setting traps on top of the ducts(but he might have)and that the insulation in the bag with the rat was not the type my house uses(maybe the bag was from another project). Not a huge deal as we did not hire him to catch rats, but to be sure that the hole was plugged. I suspect that he thought we would feel better if he caught one of them. In any case-it was a non issue for us because we had only wanted to see how big rats could be and if it was ours or someone else's was OK. The second "wish" I had was that they should have automatically offered to inspect our attic for rodents, but did not and I had to ask for them to do so. Overall, I felt I could trust this company and that the cost was worth the investment. I learned some valuable information on prevention and how to monitor the situation(traps set, etc.)for the future. I would certainly use this company again and appreciated that they were "local" to where I live. I have suggested to my neighbors that they check their crawl spaces as well(our home is only three years old).

I recently moved into a new house. During the Summer I noticed roof rats eating from my bird feeders. I was able to capture two of them with a hav-a-hart trap and release them in the woods. I suspected there were rats in my crawl space since my dog would bark and growl at my floor heating vents. after researching Angie's List I decided to give AAA Pest Control a call. They also had a $25 off coupon. The scheduler was very professional and was able to get someone out to check out my rat situation the next day. Mike, the technician showed up promptly and did an inspection. He said there was definitely a rat situation in my crawl space. He also checked out possible entry points. He found that there were two areas that needed fixing around the gas and sewer pipes that entered underneath my crawl space. He said that he would set 10 rat traps and come back in a week to secure the entry points. Mike showed up the next week right on time. He went in the crawl space and discovered three trapped rats, big ones too! He then secured the entry points with wire mesh, liquid nails and expansive sealant. Mike reset the traps. He came back two more times to check on the traps. No more rats!

They were really good, they actually diagnosed my problem over the phone and they did not have to come out at all, which was really great. They charged me nothing and the person that I talked to was really nice.

The service was timely, quick and professional. They were here and gone within 20 minutes probably. I just thought the cost was a bit high.

It took about two weeks the first time for almost all the ants to be killed back, and we had recurring infestations for about another two months. Since then we have had the ants return twice and both times they were gone within a week.

We called the company once and stopped by their offices twice for advice concerning a possible pest infestation. We suspected fleas due to the bites we'd received and the fact that I'd thought I'd seen 2 fleas (in different areas). The phone call was very helpful, and we were invited to stop by and talk with one of the pest-control experts. My husband did that and the consultant sent him home with glue boards to see what we could "catch," along with some very helpful advice about how to check for various pests. After a couple of weeks, my husband stopped back in with our glue board samples and met with another consultant. We really had caught nothing to speak of (maybe a gnat or two, and a fly), and in that time we stopped experiencing bites. The consultant thoroughly interviewed my husband about what we'd seen/not seen, and anything else related to possible bugs. The consultant made it very clear that he wouldn't treat anything because there was no good evidence of a problem. We were thinking so, too, but did want the company to at least look at the glue traps and identify the critters so we could rule out a bigger problem. All in all, we were pleased with the time and care the company took with us even though we didn't need their services. If we ever do have an "actual" pest problem (knock wood that we won't!), they will be the first place we call.

We saw a small pile of wood particles in our master bedroom, and my husband thought it might be carpenter ants. When I called AAA Pest Control, they mentioned that it was a relatively a common issue in the area and that they specialized in carpenter ants removal. Doug came out and sprayed all over the house, inside and out. He also sprayed our little tool shed for spiders at no extra cost. The only thing that we weren't told was that there would be no guarantee for the carpenter ant treatment since our house had a flat roof. We weren't told that when we made the appointment but thought it was probably fair.

I went to their office to get an estimate, and then they came out to the house for the work. They were professional. They came and did what they said they were going to do. They took care of the problem. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

I do not think they are the most expensive nor the cheapest, but they do a great job. They are nice to deal with. They come and do the work when they say they will. They explain the work well. I will continue to use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

This price is per visit. I have been very pleased with them. They did one treatment for water ants, which is what our suspicions were about. They did three visits for the rodent problem. We were pleased with their work, and then decided to go with the service every ninety days. They are not the cheapest, but for the service it is a good value. I will continue to use them in the future and have already recommended them to others.
