+ -1 moreVery well. After my first complaint, the Company was very responsive and followed through in a very professional manner. Rick is a true pro, and very knowledgeable.
Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal to check and spray for ants. United actually came out twice to try and determine source of moisture ants and couldn't find them. I was not happy that they told me to hire a contractor with a moisture meter and find the source. Owner responded quickly and sent Rick, their service manager, to check for moisture. He found evidence in the basement walls - and then sprayed the area to kill and prevent further infestation.

+ -1 moreEasy to schedule and punctual; rep was knowledgeable about the product being used and able to answer questions. Zero sales job on trying to get us into some kind of maintenance or other program - great! A prior pest service I used once offered to use extra product on wood structures in our yard (different house, years ago). We do have some railroad tie borders and planters in our back yard here, and I failed to ask about getting her to hit those. So my only 'suggestion' for the customer feedback box is that it would've been extra nice to have been alerted to the carpenter ant possibilities of those, & an offer to give them a quick hit.

+ -1 moreThe inspection was fine but they weren’t able to get rid of the mice. They were good at getting rid of bees and tried to get rid of wasps. Also, they placed the ant traps on the wall instead of putting them on the counter and I will need to have my kitchen repainted.

+ -1 moreAsked Miguel to check for carpenter ant activity based on ants seen the previous summer. He found a trail I I was not aware of, gave good suggestion to not kill the ants if activity is seen, then he could place a chemical on the trail which they take back to the nest, thus treating the source (the nest). Also had him check for wasp nests in heavy ivy. He ruled that source out but spotted wasp activity in the hedges and found a large nest. Luckily he helped us avoid a nasty and possibly dangerous situation the next time hedges were trimmed!! Great job Miguel!!

+ -1 more+ On time + Responsive + Professional - The product did not really work We had them come for a pest control treatment, the reason was mainly for indoor spiders.. The product did really not do anything for the spiders.. we have not seen any reduction in indoor spiders.. But they were on time and did not try up-sell or anything of that nature.. If the spray worked I wuold definitely call them again as the service was good.. unfortunately the product they use did nothing to reduce the spiders in our basement...

My only concern is that we used pesticides instead of doing something more natural. I could have hung things to attract and trap them. Anyway, they got the job done quickly and well.

+ 1 moreAs you can see by my comments we were very pleased with the completed job and the professionalism of the people who came out to do the work and the customer service getting everything arranged. Good company and good follow up. Liked their work so much we have them coming out now on a regular basis to preform maintenance to keep rodents away.
Description of Work: Had a rodent issue and contacted United Pest Solutions. Their customer service discussed options and answered all my questions and arranged to have one of their service people come out and assess the problem. Their rep arrived on time for appointment (in this day and age that seems to be out of the ordinary but they have it figured out). The rep was professional and did an extensive assessment and discussed with me what he found and solution to problem. They came back out and secured entry point of rodents and set traps. Rodents were trapped and taken care of. Also showed me where insulation damage was done by rodents in crawl space. I had them re-do the crawl space insulation and vapor barrier because of the great job they had done on securing the entry points. In fact, another company's rep commented that that was actually one of the better jobs he had seen done in securing entry points etc. Their estimates were very reasonable (cost above was cost for repair and installation of the insulation and vapor barrier work which was in line with other estimates we received). Work was completed on time and as quoted when it was scheduled.

I wish that the details would’ve had more information. I would not have purchased it if I had known. The tech who came was very professional and polite.

+ 0 moreI couldn't pronounce the man's name that came to fix the areas under the house. He was very professional and got right to work. It was a rainy, wet day, but he worked under my house to fix the areas where the mice and rats could get in. He put rocks around the foundation and fixed the door that goes to the crawl space. I also met with Miguel on 10/16/14. He did the first inspection and identified the places that needed fixing. He was very professional and even took pictures in the crawl space, so I could see what needed to be fixed. He sat down with me and explained everything and even told me that I could hire my own contractor. Instead I had them do the work and am very satisfied. I will certainly use United Pest Solutions again.
Description of Work: He got under my house and fixed all the areas where mice and rats could come in. Very professional and worked very hard. He also fixed the door that goes to the crawl space so that the rats couldn't get in around that.

Description of Work: A young lady came out and said she would get back to me the next day. She was not sure what kind of pest it was after looking around. I have waited 6 days and called a few times and have not had a response from the company. I finally got through to the company and they read me the report, and the report was not complete. She did not even crawl under the deck to inspect the whole problem.
