Description of Work: Went through the entire house and put down the material to rid our house of ants. To date we have not had a return of ants. The residue of the application did not cause any problems for us.

Description of Work: We are using United Pest Solutions for rat control. They have been excellent. |I would recommend them, they are very thorough.

Description of Work: On time. Inspected crawl space and attic. Found 4 potential entry points for rodents. Put three traps in the crawl space and 2 in the attic. High price for the work done but the most reasonable on Angie's List. The follow up prices, though, are horrendous. About $350 to replace only the vapor barrier and $1000s to "repair" that which is needed. If I weren't old (70) and fat I'd do it myself, which I'll probably do anyway, with my son-in-law.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angies List Big Deal for a pest inspection as I could not determine how mice were getting into my crawl space. Nathan Johnson from United Pest Solutions arrived on time for the appointment and then walked around the perimeter of the house analyzing possible entry points for rodent intrusion. He explained in detail what he was looking for and showed me the areas where there were spaces large enough for entry into the crawl space. We also entered the crawl space for further analysis. |Nathan created a detailed map of all possible intrusion points and explained how these areas could be blocked to prevent mice occurrences. There was one area on the south side of my house where there is a large gap between the siding and the foundation wall where most of the activity was probably occurring. I was very pleased with the inspection/detailed report and have started implementing Nathan's solutions. I have noticed a marked decrease in rodent activity.

Description of Work: Sprayed for insects around perimeter of home. |Still had ants & spiders. I signed a form that spraying was not a guarantee so I'm a bit confused. I will contact them for verification on that. But still will call again for service!

Description of Work: This was suppose to be a $355 pest inspection, for $129. |I got a three sentence paragraph that was LESS than the Real Estate and I spotted in five minutes. Their technician said more about what he found, than in this "$355" deal. Would NEVER use them again; and certainly NOT recommend them to Angie's list or anyone else. Not sure why they even came by. Totally unacceptable response, and they wasted my time the real estate agents time - and their report, in an email - the whole paragraph - is worthless. Thanks for nothing. NOT IMPRESSED THAT THEY MADE ANGIE'S LIST either.

Description of Work: I purchased a coupon for $129 for an inspection. The inspector looked around the footprint of the house, in the attic and in the crawlspace. He shared photos of different areas and provided some suggestions for improvement. He was informative but not pushy. I got exactly what I expected from this service.

We had an ant problem which appears to have been eradicated within a week of being treated. As others have noted, you subscribe for on going prevention.

After describing what I saw in our garage, the woman over the phone said they were just ants that wouldn't cause any issue. I really appreciated her knowledge and assistance. I plan to use this company if/when the ants get out of control.

Description of Work: We called after seeing a rat in our garage, Ulysses came out and gave our home a thorough inspection. He ended up catching 11 rats! Yuck! He returned to seal all the entry points for the rodents and now the company is coming out tomorrow to remove the damaged insulation under our house. Everyone has been very helpful and patient with all our questions. We will have them back again in the fall to replace the insulation and if we ever have another pest problem we will be calling United!
