United Pest Solutions Inc

This was my first experience, as I found them through Angie's List. They were very responsive as they came within a short amount of time. Following the initial treatment, it did not solve the issue. Therefore, they came back to attempt with a different product which eliminated the wasps in the walls. The technician was very competent and informed me of the treatment process. I was very pleased with their willingness to follow up and concern for my family. With the yearly contract, they will come out on a quarterly basis to access the situation. At the beginning, they came out repetitive times to resolve the wasp problem.

It went well. When I called in, they asked me if it was located in a major traffic area (it was) and seemed to prioritize my call based on that. An exterminator was out the next day. He showed up a little early. He checked the location and the rest of the outside of the house to check that there were no other infestations. Because of the location of the eaves trough, he stated that he would be unable to spray in such a way that they would be immediately exterminated. Instead, he sprayed with an insecticide that he stated would take 7-10 days to exterminate the nest. He stated that he will drive past within the next week, assess the outcome, and do a second spray if necessary. The amount of activity from the nest has definitely already decreased. It might have been good to actually get the nest physically removed. The service price was $160 which seems a little high, but I haven't used an exterminator before. The main thing was that they were really responsive.

Everything worked out great as for other people reporting on them; the ants appear to have been taken care of. We purchased the larger package of an initial visit plus four additional visits. Let them know you found them on Angie s list, as they offer discounts to those referred to them by reports on Angie s list.

Great. They came out quickly, sprayed, examined, told me what would happen, came again, sprayed again, got rid of the problem. Looked throughout my house for other possible pests... made recommendations as needed.

They sprayed around the house thought that I had carpenter ants but they were pavement ants.

After I hadn't heard back by Monday morning, I called another company. United Pest called on Monday afternoon, and were very apologetic, but at that point we had signed up with someone else.

My experience with United went really well. They said we didn't have to be home for them to do the work which was a great convenience. They arrived as promised and then called my cell to report the work was completed so I didn't have to wonder all day if they showed. Even asked if there was anything else they could do for us before leaving the premises. This was my first Angie's List referral and now I'm even more jazzed about the service.

Great. The first treatment didn't take care of the problem so they came back a few days later and resprayed. The hornets are gone.

United Pest showed up on time and discussed the carpenter ant problem with me. He walked around and surveyed the area to determine source of ants, then applied pesticide. Finished up and discussed monitoring I should do, and methods of stopping the ants at the source.

One call to Sean and he came out, blocked the hole, checked for any other critters and then mailed me a bill. He didn't need me to be home which was great. Thank you for such professional work.

The inspector arrived early for his appointment. After inspecting the basement, he determined that it was not related to any damaging pests but more likely was caused by shifting soil just beyond our foundation walls. He proceeded to inspect the entire house for pests to ensure we received our money's worth. Throughout the inspection, he made suggestions on how we could reduce our chances of developing pest problems in the future. He was thorough and helpful. Before he left, he offered to answer questions by phone if we had any additional concerns.

Excellent. In addition to setting traps, made recommendations for on-going monitoring of pest activity, as well as suggestions for ways to minimize the potential of attracting pests.

I called because I noticed carpenter ants in my kitchen. I left my name and number on a recording and was called back shortly by Adam who scheduled someone to come to my home at 4:00 p.m. the same day. David arrived on time and quickly determined the problem, gave me some tips about a particular plant the ants liked near my home. He sprayed the outside of our home. I have not seen any carpenter ants today. I should see none by 2 weeks. If I do, they will come out and retreat the area for "about $95." Both Adam and David were friendly and professional. I am pleased with the price and the work.

Called for appt. Monday May 14th and scheduled for May 19th. Kevin was the service rep. Arrived within the time window they specified. After he saw the area of concern he described the treatment process very thoroughly and answered all of our questions. Performed his process and prepared the billing. After a discussion of the extent of the infestation and his opinion based on my observations he revised the bill. The first one was for $110 with several follow ups of approx. $90 each. These may or may not have come to $300. The revised bill was $310.00, But that comes with a years warranty and they come out approx. Three weeks later and examine the area to see if additional treatment is needed. Kevin was very personable and knowledgeable on the problem I had. He performed his job efficiently. Their literature states they don't enter attics, crawl spaces or look inside walls so while they are confident they can eradicate the pests you still may have hidden structural damage.

Kevin was prompt, pleasant and knowledgeable. He's set up about 10 rat traps, offered poison stations, and their staff did a perimeter spray in April. We had a billing snafu, which was completely resolved. I look forward to working with them.

They have been very professional and worked to get it right. We had an inexperienced employee come out the first time, who kind of messed up and gave us some weird information. I followed up by phone a few days later and was transferred to the owner, who apologized, game me his cell phone number, and sent another guy out the next day. He even sent a note the next week that had a coffee gift card in it.

Chris arrived early and promptly started the work. He finished on schedule and did a fantastic job. While accessing the attic, the attic access cover was damaged. He made a new one, brought it out and installed it. Overall a great experience. While I hope to not need pest control services again, if I do, I will be sure to call Chris and Sean at United Pest Solutions.

Everything went perfectly. He arrived just before our appointment time. We walked around the outside and the inside of the house discussing where I had seen ants. He was very courteous and helpful and clear about exactly what he was going to do. He told me I needed to leave during the actual spraying which I did. I have not seen any live ants since the application. I have received a follow-up call to see how things are going and I told them I was very pleased. I am using them on a one year contract so there will be three (3) more visits, once a quarter. They were significantly better than the company I used two years ago.

It went very well. Over the course of a few weeks, their efforts resolved the problem.

So far, no more rats, but it's only been 5 days since I plugged up the hole. $250 seems like a lot, though.

To date, the service was very effective, prompt, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I am looking forward to future services.

We noticed rat droppings in our basement and called United to exterminate. They were prompt and professional. Their representative checked our house for possible points of entry and gave us advice on how we could prevent future rodents from gaining access. He also set poison traps around the exterior of our home as well as a few indoors. We signed up for the seasonal service, so the first visit was free of charge.

Were very punctual with coming out to the house and have been very beneficial to determine how to prevent the problem. I do have problems understanding their billing. Price is for approx 4-6 of maintenance.

It took a couple of phone calls to get a response and then exterminator showed up half hour late for appt. I had to reschedule due to time constraints. Despite this customer service was good and exterminator arrived promptly for rescheduled appointment. I was recommended and agreed to three visits to make sure the pest control was effective. I made the second appt. directly with the exterminator after the initial treatment for a month later. The exterminator never showed up for the second appt. I paid the initial bill and never called back to reschedule.

The bees continued for about a week and then finally died off. I found a few bees inside the house struggling to live about three days after the spraying. The guy came by and was here for about five minutes charged me $163 and left. I still have to patch up the hole the bees created, but they are gone. I figure next time for that kind of money I can buy a can that sprays 15 feet and save about 150 dollars.
