My experience with them was good. They show up on time and tell you what they are going to do. They give you a quote and do what they say they will do. They take the time to answer any questions. They seem to all be really knowledgeable, friendly guys. There are a lot of companies out there that you don t know what you re going to get or if they will be honest, but everyone I ve dealt with here has been honest and fair. Their prices are fair as well. That s important to me.

It went very well. I like the company. The guys are always on time and they are very friendly. I am very happy with them and will continue to use them.

They guy came out to the house and was very prompt and professional. I was skeptical that the treatment would work because he just sprayed the entry point where the yellow jackets were getting in and out of the attic, and not the nest itself. He assured me it would do the job within a week, or they would re-treat the site or refund our money. It took more like three days before there were no more wasps. There was also no odor or discoloration from the spray. A highly effective and recommended treatment.

I described a problem to them over the phone and they told me for free over the phone, how to fix it. They always said they would come out if we want them to but they help us for free first.

The service was professional and fair.

The initial service was great. The worker explained everything that is offered with the fee which is better than the pest service I had before. They will spray for insects if you want them to as part of there plan. My main goal is to keep rodents out of our yard and house, so it's bonus for us that they'll also deal with other critters around my forested home. We also were able to get quite a discount with our card.

We saw evidence of carpenter ants (sawdust from our shakes) along part of the foundation, so called United Pest Solutions, and they were able to come out within 4 working days. The technician came at the appointed time, did a nice job of cleaning up the cobwebs on the outside of the house before treating, explained what he was doing and how we could protect our pets, and said that he would be back in a week to check to see if there were any further signs of the ants. He came as promised and saw no further indication of the ants; we haven't seen any since the treatment either.

The first guy who came out to address our rodent problem was disappointing. However, the attention and persistence that Scott paid to our problem more than made up for the first guy. Scott educated us about the two different types of rats that infest houses, and why different strategies are used to get rid of them. He eventually discovered that the entrance the rats used to get in and out of the house was on the opposite side of the house, and at the attic, despite that we typically heard them in the basement. As soon as the entrance holes had been repaired, we got rid of the rats, never to hear from them again.

I called them on a Tuesday and we set up a time for that Friday which is my day off. Dan came on time and was neatly dressed, great smile, very friendly, professional and made me feel very comfortable. We went over my particular needs with the new space and the existing space. I showed him around and he said he would crawl under the house and do a survey. Dan put on overalls, mask etc. After about 45 min he came in and explained the 2 estimates he had prepared. One for the existing crawl space and one for the new crawl space under the addition. He had a drawing done to explain how he priced the 2 estimates. He gave me a book on the subject of crawl space issues. He explained everything in detail including an area under the new utility mud room where the crawl space is covered with concrete. He explained that we should do in the existing crawl space and include the mud room and crawl space door. His proposal also included a separate price to re-insulate the floor and ducts. He gave me 2 proposals because I didn't want the subcontractors to tear up the clean space while doing the plumbing, electrical and mechanical work under the new addition. I asked about installing new seismic ties and anchoring through the clean space membrane. Dan said it wouldn't be a problem to fasten through the membrane and if there is a problem or something needs to be fixed just call. We decided on including the existing space, mud room, and 2 access doors for the first scope of work. He left and within a couple of hours Adam(?) had called to schedule a time to do the work. I called them back on Monday and Ulysses came on Wednesday to start work. He was very polite, professional, fast, clean, very knowledgeable, and concerned about any disruption to our other work. He explained in detail what he was going to do and how long it would take. He had a nice clean pick up truck and a nice clean enclosed cargo trailer. He apologized that his co-worker was sick so it might take 3 days. The next day he came with another worker who was equally polite and hard working. Ulysses was very conscious the whole time about my needs and any issues no matter how minor. I forgot to plug in the power so he made sure he explained to me that he had to reach in the window and plug it in and apologized that he had to do that. They finished that same day. Ulysses was careful to go over the site and make sure they cleaned everything up. He explained step by step the list of items they completed. Things on the printed list that did not pertain to our situation were explained also to make sure we knew he wasn't skipping something. They gave me a small piece of both materials at my request and asked if I wanted a sample of the sealant they used also. Ulysses also stressed that if there is a problem please call the office. There was a slight odor in the house but Ulysses said it will last about 2 days. After 2 days it was almost entirely gone.

Great job. He came on time and worked quickly and efficiently. It did take two trips out to finish off the yellow jackets (which surprised him, he thought the first application would do it), but the second trip did not entail an additional charge, and he was happy to come back. I would use their services again.

Paul was prompt, used pressurized spray and can aerosol spray. Cleaned the window below affected area. Very neat and polite to me (89 year old). His uniform was very clean and he was well protected to avoid stings. Left affected area free of dead bugs and nest material.

The yellow jackets were quickly gone & I was able to seal up the crack to prevent future nestings. The company honored the coupon shown here on the Angie's List website, which helped to offset the higher bid (compared to 2 other companies I called). I chose this company over the other 2 since they fully answered all my concerns about the application of the treatment & seemed to be more responsive than the other companies.

They have been doing both extermination and maintenance. They've done what they were supposed to do, and I have been happy with the service. There haven't been any rats around.

They did a very good job, they were very professional, they took care of the problem. It was originally just the wasp nest but they helped me with other problems as well, being mice.

Scheduled out 5 days in advance for 9am. Called to inform they were stuck in traffic a couple of times. Showed up 25 minutes late, but I appreciated the communication.

United Pest Solutions employees, from the people who answer the phone to quarterly pest control people, are polite and thorough. In spite of my hectic schedule, the fact that our dog got sick and we had to cancel an appointment and two big rainstorms that prevented anyone from working on a 3 story ladder, the job got done and it's high quality. My neighbor rushed over and didn't want us to "kill the baby birds" and the young man performing the work was understanding of my plight and agreed to come back later (when the neighbor wasn't home) and finish the job. I would use United Pest Control again.

My experience with them was good. I asked for an estimate at the first visit. He found a couple of places to set some traps. He was very conscientious about getting in my crawl space.

They are a very good company and did a really good job. They are very friendly, and we would recommend them to anyone. They use a poison that is less toxic than what you can buy in the store, which I like. Their price is cheaper than other companies that I have used in the past.

They did a good job. I haven't seen any hornets since they came. There was a little mix up with the order, but she fixed it right away and was exceptionally nice and easy to work with. They had great customer service.

No complaints. I've pretty much covered the whole story. Out of curiosity, I might drop their service next year to see if the ants return. If they don't, maybe a one-year contract will solve the ant problem permanently. We'll see. They also said that the maintenance fee covers not only the original problem (ants, in my case) but any other type of infestation that might arise, at no extra cost. The first-time visit was $228, with $114 for each of the quarterlies.

They are very prompt and very knowledgeable. They don't oversell. They are up to date with products and methods. They call and let us know when they will be here.

They come quarterly and check all areas inside and out of the house, identifying, resolving and refilling bait stations for rodents or other pests including wasp nests or ant colony's. We have been pleased to use there service for over 5 years!

They were knowledgeable of their field. The guy was pleasant and seemed to know what he was talking about. They were very careful spraying inside my house.

It went well and didn't take much time.
