We were having a problem with rodents getting under the house. They put up barriers to stop that and they also sprayed for ants. I was able to sign up for quarterly visits which I really like.

They came out to talk to me about what they could offer me. Instead of a higher priced one time removal, they sold me on a cheaper 4-times a year service. Ben is my service person and I am very happy with him.

I had seen some carpenter ants and spotted termites near old tree stumps. They were curious about the termites since they have never seen them in my area, so the technical directory showed. He pointed out that they were damp wood termites as opposed to subterranean and would die once I got rid of the stump. They talked to me about where I want them to spray, and then treated the perimeter of the house, as well as one wall where I had seen ants. They also inspected the crawlspace. They showed up on time and were polite and courteous throughout. They also took the time to educate about carpenter ant behavior and what to look for. They assured me that there was no evidence of infestation, so the ants I had seen are from satellite colonies. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I am thrilled that I don't have any infestations.

Very well. Phile was responsive, on time, and did a complete inspection. He found that the noises we'd been hearing were likely on the roof and not in the attic, and showed us the reasons why. He also demonstrated why the small little gathering of bees was not dangerous and should not harm us or my dog. Phil felt we were in good shape already and did not need further or costly other services.

They offered to come back out to re-spray if I needed it. I called them back and have not heard from anyone yet. It has been 3 weeks now.

Wonderfully prompt service. They were able squeeze us in and take care of our wasp problem same-day, and I didn't even need to be home to meet the tech. Couldn't ask for more!

United Pest "diagnosed" our ant problem over the phone, and I was able to schedule the first visit within a couple of days of our call. When the technician came, the work was done quickly and quietly without any disruption to our day. When the company wanted to reschedule our follow-up visit in order to bunch together calls in the same area, they called a week ahead and were very easy and professional to work with. Both times the technician came, he came at the beginning of the one-hour window I was given. I had called several exterminators, and although United Pest's price wasn't the lowest, they included the most service in their base price (treatment of perimeter as well as affected area, follow-up visit, and 60-day warranty).

United were extremely responsive and were able to fit our tight moving schedule to make sure these problems were taken care of. This was a few months ago. We've hired them on to provide quarterly monitoring and spraying services. They are always call to schedule a good time and never just show up. All in all, a great company. A little expensive, but not out of line with other companies and they provide good work. Highly recommended.

Our experience with United was absolutely wonderful, and stood in stark contrast to other pest control companies we have used. They did not try to sell us services we didn't need (monthly treatments or treating walls for carpenter ants beyond the walls with evidence of infestation.) The service man sent out to our home was professional and friendly. He performed the work quickly, found entry points where pests were getting in, and addressed the root causes. He came back a few days later to check on our traps, which were empty - probably as a result of him plugging the holes. We haven't seen a carpenter ant since he showed up. No odors or residue from whatever he sprayed. The price was more than reasonable, less than I expected for drilling into the house and treating a wall for carpenter ants in addition to a regular service. Very, very happy.

They gave me a cost quote when I made the appointment. Told them I needed the hive removed because I had small children and dogs running in and out of the front door. The gentleman on the phone was very informative and friendly and best of all was able to schedule an appointment the next day. The tech was very nice and professional and donned his bee suit and went to work. Within 10 minutes he was done leaving behind the comfort of knowing the bees were gone and a 60 day guarantee.

I called United to only do an inspection of my home. They were able to send someone the day after my call. The day of the visit, Phil called to ask if it was ok to come early and that actually worked better for me so that was a good beginning. He performed a thorough inspection of the property and the crawl space to check for unwanted creatures. I have a great deal of vegetation up against the house and he pulled the plant growth (aka weeds) back and made sure that there weren't invisible problems due to the vegetation. But it was the extras that really made me feel good about the experience. He reset the rat traps (set by a previous pest control company last year), and he sealed up a spot at the garage door. He took the time to explain the the type of activity that would indicate an ant problem and provided reading material. From my experience, the company deserves all the accolades it receives.

My problem with them is that they really pushed a package where they came quarterly for pest control, and the next technicians were not as knowlegeable and I had some major problems with scheduling. They missed an appointment at the outset and I rescheduled. For the next "appointment" someone just showed up with no call and it was not a convenient time. Later they skipped another appointment so after two no-shows with no call from them to cancel, I cancelled the service.

Eric was thorough, informative, punctual, and efficient. We are very pleased with the services.

They were very responsive and professional. They came on time and finished the work in timely manner. They did a very good job and their quality of service was great. The price was also very reasonable.

Ben was very helpful and suggested ways for us to complete the task ourselves (saved us $). He also returned my follow up phone calls in a timely manner.

They were very good. It took them a couple of tries, but they said it would, but now there have not been any ant complaints in a couple of months, so I guess it worked. What they told me turned out to be true, so I guess they knew what they were talking about and were knowledgeable.

Prior to closing on our new home, our home inspector found old rodent evidence in our crawl space. United Pest Solutions made a special trip out to Duvall (not a regular day for them) to come inspect the space. They determined there was an 80% saturation level, so all of the insulation was removed and replaced along with everything else which was in the crawl space including old construction debris left from when the house was built. It was our understanding that the removal and replacement was going to happen the same day, however that is not what happened. A crew appeared without an appointment on the same day as our appliances were being delivered and our furnishings were being moved in (two days after we moved in) without previously letting us know they were coming to install the insulation. The crew which showed up was great, they stayed out of the movers way. Layed down drop cloths to ensure our carpets were kept clean etc. The work was done several months ago, I'm still waiting to receive an invoice which says "paid" on it. I would use them again.

I called UPC because they were highly rated on Angie's List. They dispatched an exterminator to come out to my home within a week. He set rat traps in the crawl space. He even took pictures in my crawl space to show me the damage the rats had caused, and took pictures of the 2 rats. He came back about 10 days later to check on the traps.

We have had a major wasp infestation for the past 3 years in our detached studio. Husband is highly allergic and it was getting in the way of our enjoying our yard. The scheduler was very helpful in explaining the various programs available for treatment (one time visit, quarterly etc) and the benefits of each. They listened to my concerns about toxic treatments around pets and humans, and assured me that they have accounted for this in the products they use. I had been leaning toward the quarterly treatment option since the problem was so severe it interfered with our enjoyment of our gardens. The technician was very helpful, courteous and informative. He inspected the entire property for wasps and other pests (rodents, ants etc) and explained his findings to me in detail before performing any work. He was sensitive to our pets and made sure they were safe during his inspection (they like to go under the house and often get stuck!) He suggested "integrated pest management" options to me - such as putting up flashing to make the nesting area inaccessible - and was very upfront about one time service being enough to solve our particular problem. I was relieved to hear this, and appreciated his honesty. The treatment took less than half an hour and within minutes I saw results. I am exceptionally pleased with the service from United. I will definitely call them if I have any more issues related to pests.

I am very pleased with their services. They are very knowledgeable. They know what to do and how to get the job done. They cleaned up after the work was over.

They are odorous ants because if we take one and squish it they stink. If you spray your regular ant spray on the ants, they will group off and create another queen. They will even wander off and create another group. They are hard to control. The preferred solution is that, they have a spray, which when sprayed clings to them and kills everybody in the nest. They spray inside and outside. They explained all this and enriched our knowledge. They came the first time and then they came once a quarter to re-spray. The work is warranted and if the ants reappear within two weeks, then they come back and re-spray. They are very responsive. If we tell them not to come a particular week they will put it off. If we call a day before, then too it's not a problem with them.

They did everything professionally, quickly and cheaply.

We began seeing ants gather around the cat food when left out too long, a few weeks ago. I called United Pest Solutions after reading the great reviews on this site. I talked with an extremely informed employee and found out everything I needed to know and more on ants!He took his time explaining the types of ants I might have, answered my concerns about what kinds of chemicals were used and how much everything cost, even with the Angie's List discount! Eric was the Exterminator who came to our house and diagnosed our ant issue (we had Pavement ants that would most likely need a one-time service). During this service, I was told to vacate the area for 4 hours so the treatment could dry. While chasing our 1 1/2 year old son around and trying to get ready, I was a little frazzled when I was told to move everything away from the perimeter of the room, but Eric was very patient and told me he would happily wait in his car until I was ready. I was all packed and ready to give Eric the go-ahead, until one of our cats decided she didn't want to leave the basement! After failed attempts at shaking her food dish and playing with her toys she would not come out. My husband had to come home and help me move her out of the basement. Finally, we could give Eric the okay, after ONE hour! He was so understanding and kind. He finished spraying the area in less than 20 minutes. I was so appreciative of United's knowledge of pests and pest removal and even more appreciative of Eric who was very patient with a crazy customer with an equally crazy cat!

I was favorably impressed with the service but not the ant control product.
