Even after they have sprayed there are always spiders.

We're signed up for a maintenance plan to get periodic spraying. This has been working great for us to prevent any ant buildup.

Full rodent inspection. Attic and Crawl Space and Garage, and exterior, etc. A very professional gentleman named Nathan, wore boot covers, used 'clean' gear, and expressed concern over whether I had a respirator if I was going to follow along in the insulated spaces. Truly, this was the experience you wish to have whenever you have people provide services at your home. Upon completion, he noticed that this was a LIVE TRAPPING issue and not something they usually perform. He offered me a referral, made a small price adjustment, which was unexpected but appreciated, and went on his way. Terrific experience overall, and I would be a return customer or recommend this group without hesitation. By the way, the referral they made was available, also very professional and polite, and is scheduled to inspect the live trapping job tomorrow. So it also appears that they care about who they refer you to as well. That's a good sign.

Provider was friendly and on time. Performed job quickly and effectively.

The provider was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and acknowledged that it is difficult to get rid of the ant colonies, but over time we were informed that they could be controlled. We saw no ants that summer, but they did come back the next year. We were able to get rid of them with bait purchased locally. Other than accidentally breaking a ceramic tray for a large potted plant, I was pleased with the experience.

Set traps in attic and crawl space and sprayed the perimeter of the house, came back a couple of weeks later to check on them. They will have another company come do the repair work necessary to fill the gaps that allow mice in. The quote for that part is about $550. They also said that the Angie's list special was just for inspection. If I wanted them to set traps and spray for insects, I would either have to pay per session or sign up for one year of service for $95 for every other month service (about $600 annual cost). I opted for the annual contract. We still have spiders, but the ants are gone. The person who came to the house did a great job. The reason I deducted some points is because of the pushy follow up calls from the office. I had not decided on having their contractor come out to do the repairs to fix the gaps. I got a call and the guy stated that even if you fix the gaps yourself, unless we do the work, we will not guarantee any future rodents making it into the house. A few weeks later I got another call, saying that they can have their contractor do the job or we can do it ourselves, but unless the gaps are fixed, they cannot make any guarantees. This second call made sense, but I did not like the pushy first call. Overall I am happy. The office personnel need improvement but the field guy is professional and effective.

Smoothly ? particularly given the fact that it is a long-term insuluble problem.

We signed up with United Pest Solution months ago, but we have a year contract with them for regular maintenance and the occasional bug stomping. They have great reviews on Angie's List, so we decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed. They came to our house on time were very professional and did a great job explaining all the possible entry points bugs and other things could get into the house. We originally had a rat issue, so they placed traps/bait strategically throughout the house. We also had issues with ants as well, and they did a thorough spray down of the house. We had to be out of the house for 4 hours, so make sure you plan something fun to do after they spray. For the price and the service (very friendly!) they are worth it. I had to call them about paying a bill, and their phone customer service is top notch. They took care of me very quickly and happily. So far, we haven't had any issues with bugs or rats (fingers crossed). Overall, I think United Pest Services is a great service at the right price. They definitely know what they were doing and were able to answer any question we threw at them.

Arrived on schedule for Preventive Interior and Exterior Pest Treatment. Sprayed outside and inside the house with some pest control solution.

It was fine. It was really good. I would give them a good rating. The price was reasonable and they came when they were supposed to. The product seem to work pretty well.

Things went fine. I still use them. I did the Angie’s List and then, I signed up for a service every other month. The services have been going fine. They are fine. They are very prompt and they always let me know when they are coming. I would tell a friend that they are reliable and they know bugs and stuff.

Despite the service, we believe that it made no difference whatsoever. If anything, we seemed to have even more spiders. He warned that we still may have some spiders but we saw an INCREASE. However, not sure if this area of the U.S. and with an older home like ours will ever be able to reduce spiders.

They responded quickly and came out to the farm and treated the old house that was crawling with carpenter ants. Every few months they come out and continue the treatment. They always give a call before they come out and show up when they say they will. I have not seen any ants in the house since they started the service.

They had to come back a second time as they did not go under the house on the first visit (which they should have done) and was where the nest was. They did come back the second time promptly and there was no charge.

Good. He showed up early and completes est in short amount of time.

They were very punctual and courteous, but didn't do a great job spraying. There was a small (3 inch in diameter) hornets nest under the eaves outside my back door. After they spray the hornet remained there happy for several days. I'd expect that after a pest control company comes out, it would have been handled or at the very least mentioned to me. I had to go to Home Depot a few weeks later to finally by some spray and take care of it. I still see house spiders lurking around the house and its been two weeks since they came out. It just wasn't effective. On the bright side, the provider did point out an area where field mice could enter my home and recommended that I take care of it. I wouldn't have known about this if he didn't call it out. Finally, too make the experience even worse, I feel like I was overcharged by Angie's list. It cost a whole $100 more than what I paid the previous year for better results. To be fair I don't think the cost hike is the providers fault because I purchased through Angie's. Long story short, I don't think I'll continue doing business with either service in the future.

I've been using them for years. They're very responsive.

All the technicians have been very courteous and punctual. The first technician had a hard time getting rid of the yellow jackets and had to return once or twice to spray again. Later, we were assigned another technician who seemed a little more knowledgeable and checked the house more closely and made more recommendations for how we can prevent pests. We paid a couple hundred dollars to have someone come out from United Pest Solutions to fill in places where mice and insects were getting in. It wasn't a huge job, but it was one more thing we didn't have to deal with. That has helped a lot. If you don't get the results you expected, you may want to call UPS and have them check your house again. Their customer service is quite good.

Went well, returned for a second application of product. So far no more ants.

We were hearing some scratching in the attic early in the mornings from our bedroom. Wasn't sure what it was so called UPS out to take a look (after doing an Angie's search and comparing reviews and pricing). The package was the 1-time rodent inspection and remediation (since we weren't sure what it was). Ulises arrived on time and went up to take a look and we discovered that some of the soffit boards were loose and hanging open. He looked and found a number of bird nests, one particularly new. After we discussed the issue and possible handling, he removed a couple of the boards so he could access the area and pulled out the nesting material. Then he reattached the boards (including needing to adjust some nearby for fit as well as tightening up some other suspect openings. All in all that area is tightly closed off and we haven't heard any more morning noises since. After that Ulises did a roof check, general walk-around and wrote up the exclusion report, recommending further handling treatment regarding the bird access for long term considerations. The bid seemed reasonable, but based on his explanation of the work involved I can take that on myself. Ulises was a great service person. Very personable and knowledgeable and was will to discuss and explain the issue at length. He was very professional in his work and, while doing the soffit board securing work, had an admirable attention to doing it well instead of 'good enough'. As well, I was admiring his ladder stabilizer wings and he clued me into where to find those (better than what's available in the box stores).
