Ulises was prompt, professional, and helpful on the initial visit and the complimentary follow up. I purchased a one-time treatment to take care of odorous house ants (non-structural pest, but still annoying!). He inspected the exterior and interior to see where the ants were trailing, and he explained why. After discussing, I took his advice to only treat the areas where the ants were seen. He found a hidden spot in a utility closet to make tiny holes in the wall in order to spray inside the walls. He patched the holes, and now I can't even tell where he did the work. In addition to spray, he also baited where the ants had been. Finally, he sprayed the exterior and told me what to watch for to keep the odorous ants out going forward. I would gladly use Ulises and United Pest Solutions again (if I had to). I gave them a B on price because their minimum rate seems steep in light of the minimal work done & amount of time spent at my house. I also gave a B for responsiveness because it took several rounds of phone calls to get things scheduled with their office.

Ulysses listened to all my concerns and treated the inside and outside of the house. He found all trouble spots before leaving and treated the areas appropriately. He was professional and courteous. He went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of to my satisfaction.

I can only assume this company has all the business they need. I called in the morning and was told that the scheduler would get right back to me. I was quite upset as I had a wasp nest inside my exterior wall in the back of my house and I needed it taken care of ASAP. I waited for a little while, but since I had read the previous review and I really needed this taken care of, I called another business. It's a good thing too, because I did not hear back from United until four hours later, by which time the other appointment was scheduled and the problem was taken care of that afternoon.

I called on 7/28/2013 with a desperate message of a large amount of yellow jackets going into the side of my house. They NEVER even called me back. No one ever answered the phones, I constantly got the message machine. If they don't deal with yellow jackets they at least could have called me back to tell me that! The part that was very frustrating is that I drive by this company every day and they have trucks all over the place....so people were there in the office! If I ever have a pest problem, I will not even attempt to call them again. They never even got a chance to make a good impression with me!

Ben is a real professional and it shows! We had used this company for some bug issues before and liked their promptness and thoroughness. They applied a portion of the initial wasp treatment fee to the first month of maintenance, which we appreciated.

They were great. The guy they sent out was fantastic. He explained everything he was doing. He was very thorough, on time and clean.

On 8/6/13 I called United Pest Solution and got a voice mail because they had closed for the evening. I left my name and phone number and told them what time to call me. I waited for there call only no one called me at the time that I ask for. They did call me late in the evening but I had given up waiting. They did leave a massage for me and was not very concern doing business. I just felt they had drop the ball and was not interested in doing business. The real strange thing about this I had use this company before and had no problems. I think they may have change owners. I will be calling someone else to do the job.

We called United Pest Control based on the other reviews I read in Angie's List. We had spotted what looked like a mouse (he made a late night appearance on our dining room table and then jumped off and disappeared into the kitchen!)> I left a message on the company's answering machine since the incident happened on a Sunday night and got a call back on Monday. The fellow on the phone took my information, asked a lot of specific questions, and we set up an appointment for Thursday. He quoted me a price for the rodent eradication visit and also gave me information about their quarterly inspection service. But it wasn't a hard sell and I was happy to have the information. On the day of the appointment, Andrew arrived on time and chatted with me again about what had happened so he had a better idea of what to look for. He went into the crawl spaces under the house and did a complete inspection around the foundation, looking for access points and sealing them up. He said we had two dead rats under the house, which he removed. There was also evidence of some mice activity. He set traps and bait and he will return in two weeks (or sooner if we need him to) to check everything and to remove any rodents that might have returned and died. He also noticed a small ant hill at one of the crawl spaces and sprinkled for them as well. Andrew was extremely helpful, professional, and pleasant to work with. He answered all my questions, gave me good advice, and didn't try to sell me any services or supplies we didn't need. I really appreciated his thoroughness and approach to the work. I'll update this review in two weeks when we see if our mouse problem has been solved. But based on my current experience, I'd call United again if I needed their services.

Very professional service. They advised us ahead of time that we should vacate the house for 4 hours following treatment so we were prepared for that. As soon as the service rep finished spraying inside, we locked up and left as he continued to spray outside. He returned two weeks later to check for any additional ants and made another round of spraying. We have been very satisfied with the service and treatment.

I explained that my mother had a compromised immune system and might have trouble with indoor spraying. I was told "no problem." All spraying was done around the outside of the house. The servicemen were very personable, punctual and responsive.

Since it was moisture ants, the solution was removing sheet rock and the affected area -- so it was carpentry. This was done by another company. I appreciated that the company gave an honest analysis and did not try to sell us services we did not need.

I started using United Pest Solutions Inc about 2 years ago and I continue to use them. They are coming back tomorrow. I have a quarterly service with them. The fellow who services our house is really experienced, he is professional and thorough and I haven't had a problem since he has been servicing our house.

United Pest Solutions (UPS) service rep. came quickly after initial call. He went throughout the house, both interior and exterior, to check for entry points and found a couple. Because I have a good sized terraced planted yard (not grass) with a fair amount of ground cover (like ivy), as do my neighbors, there is ample area for rates to breed and live around the area, and all try to gain entry to homes to get food. The rep. found 3 places where rats were getting access. These were netted, boarded up, or otherwise closed off, and vent holes were re-caulked to seal up where one appeared to have been chewed. Two bait stations were installed outside, and several traps were installed in the laundry room. This seemed to remedy the problem until several months later when the rains came, which drove rats into the house from access points in the crawl space - which leads into the heat vents throughout the house. UPS came again and found the problem, sealed the access, and placed several traps in the crawl space. Because of the returning rats (always gaining access from newly discovered areas, not the old ones that were sealed off), I contracted with UPS for an annual maintenance service, which I have had since the initial incidents. Each time I have called UPS, their response has been excellent and the problem identified and resolved. One suggestion they had for sealing the crawl space to prevent future rat entry was excessively costly (after checking with my general contractor) and, I thought, unnecessary, so did not have USP do. With the two bait stations in place and the rat traps in strategic locations (laundry room, crawl space, and garage closet), and removing a bird feeder away from the house, I have not had another rat problem in several months. Overall, I consider USP to be very prompt, courteous, and professional and they get the job done effectively and I would recommend them to anyone with a pest/vermin problem. I do feel that their quarterly maintenance charge for the service performed is on the pricey side, but honestly have not taken the time to compare with their competitors so am not sure.

The serviceman sprayed my home's entire exterior (including crawl space) for any kind of insect and pest. He checked my home's entire interior - all rooms, attic, and garage for insects and pests. He cemented an area in my crawl space to provide a better seal. He set traps for mice. He will be returning in 3 weeks to follow up with everything. I will have them return quarterly for maintenance. I have had a yearly pest service in the past but have never had such exceptional service as United Pest Solutions provided. The serviceman was so professional that I called their office while he was here working to "sing his praises." I would highly recommend this company!

United Pest Solutions Inc. made sure everything was good.

I had been a customer of a fairly large chain and was very dissappointed with the service and even worse, the problem kept coming back. UPC told me why the problems were still there and then fixed them. Now the problems will stay outside and out of my home. Everyone from the front office to the technician was extremely polite and knowledgable.

They sent Ulises out to help me. He arrived on time, and was very professional and courteous. I showed him where I was seeing the wasps and he went up in my attic to check it out. He took pictures of a small nest that was up there and the entry point. He sprayed for the wasps and then baited and sprayed for the ants as well. He explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions. He also told me about the company's seasonal service options, as well as suggesting ways that I could do the maintenance myself so I did not feel like I was getting a sales pitch or anything. I asked him to do an estimate for some insulation work in the attic and am planning on calling in the fall to have that done. I have not noticed any more wasps or ants, but there is a 60 day guarantee and it has only been a week or so. I called several other companies to get quotes before having United Pest Solutions come out, and I found their prices were competitive and their customer service is excellent. Overall I am very happy and would definitely call them again.

They contacted me immediately and let me know that this deal does not cover rodent removal, whic is what I needed. I contacted Angie's List for a refund.
