Excellent!!! We have a very old home that came with an open door policy to rodents (rats). Once they had established an entry point they let the whole neighborhood know. We purchased our home ten years ago, and United Pest Solutions was at our house a lot that first year. It was complicated finding out how they were getting in, but once that tiny access point was discovered we haven't had a problem. Our quarterly maintenance involves servicing bait stations on our roof and the perimeter of the house (yes they are depleted every time), and treating for crawling insects. I have also called over the years for concerns with things like bees, and the company has always scheduled a visit within a day. Every employee has been, prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. I like them all very much. I have no doubt we will continue to use them until we sell our home. I highly recommend them, and have nothing but good things to say about every employee and the company.

The new technician for my area came out and did a full assessment of the home and surrounding areas. He checked and baited all rodent stations plus spray around foundation. He did remove a mouse from a bait station in crawl space. Previous work in May by UPS sealed exterior areas. Will continue to monitor. Overall service is professional and would recommend them for service.

Got the Big Deal from Angie's List. Norman came on time. He was professional in his attitude and explained it all. He inspected the crawl space for pests and took pictures of mouse droppings and wood that had been chewed. He placed several traps as well. He did find a gap in the construction where the mice were entering the space and set up a time to return. 10 days later he returned and put wire mesh up to close the gap and inspected the traps. He found no activity which was good. All the above cost $300 for 2 trips to our place and the work done. It was well worth it to know we are now free from such little pests!

i originally had them out because annually I kept seeing ants at certain times of the year. Pete came out and crawled in the crawlspace, under the wrap around porch and checked out about an acre of lot to find ant hillsI. He found several and took care of them. Also found we had some furnace pipes that weren't connect to the vents. I have now been using this quarterly service for several years. They call me prior to coming, but I don't need to be present for the service. They leave me detailed reports of what they found and what they did. If I find something between visits ( like bees nests) they come out and take care of it without an extra charge.

Service was professional and friendly. There have been less mice sightings since the work was done, however we are still finding occasional rodent droppings in our barbecue so I am not sure if we need to allow more time for the bait traps to work in our backyard.

We didn't know how bad our problem was so asked if we needed quarterly service. The gentleman was very nice and said he would look around and let us know. He said he thought he got all the carpenter ants and insects so have him come back in a year when the ants come out again. We appreciated that he did not try to sell us a quarterly service we did not need. Would use them again for sure!

very professional and courteous, and thorough. only thing is that when i set up the appointment, the office should have told us we needed to leave the home for 2.5 hours -- not because the solution is toxic, but because it is wet.

I rarely give anyone such a scathing review, but I have to in this case. There are several things I am not happy with United Pest Control, and I definitely won't use them again or recommend them to anyone. 1) Responsiveness Apparently, they are in no hurry to schedule the appointment after I purchased the pest inspection deal on Angies' list. Not even after I sent them a message through angie's list three days after the purchase. Their responded to the message simply saying, "yeah, we got your purchase, just call us during working hours to schedule an appointment". I called during after hour, and left a voice message. Again, no response in three days. Finally, I called them. 2) Punctuality/Professionalism During my appointment phone call, I asked specifically that they should call me on the day of appointment before they set out (because the appointment time they gave me was rather vague) so that my wife can schedule her things around the appointment. They said yes to the request. But no, they don't bother to call. The inspector just show up without any notice. 3) Price/Quality I think their Ads for the angies' list deal is borderline false-advertising. They stated in the ads that "A certified technician will inspect your crawlspace and/or attic for rodent activity and place traps in these spaces". But in fact, they will only place traps if you accept their bid for fixes and schedule a second appointment with them. The technician won't even place the traps after my wife stated that we will consider the bid and let them know our decision later.

They walked through the house and its attic and crawl space, provided a report with the footprint and marked with the possible rodent entrance, placed a few trap when I ask. I think the job they have done is fair because later on I requested a few free estimation for restoration of my crawl space and attic space, the inspection results is even better, and it's FREE. I would not hire a pest control company for a purely inspection any more if anyway I will find some contractor to do the restoration, which comes with free inspection.

Miguel always shows up promptly at the scheduled time with a smile. He's super friendly and pleasant and professional. He sprays the outside of the house to keep critters out and has put a couple of rat poison boxes around (due to neighbors' chickens) and we haven't seen a rat since. If I call with a problem they are quick to come out and take care of it as part of the service. For example, a few months ago we had sugar ants in the house. Miguel put in some traps and poison out which gathered them all in one spot where they died. We haven't had an ant since. And if we ever get a wasp building a nest in our eaves I know I could call him to come take care of it right away. You can pay extra to have them deal with moles as well which we did for a while, but the combination of poison worms and pellets they used weren't effective enough for our drastic problem. But we cancelled that portion of the service again without any problems.

They are courteous, professional and patient. They do regular inspections-usually the same technician, Ben, who is fantastic-and spray for all manner of pests through the all seasons program. We haven't had any major pest issues, but if we do, the all season plan will address it.

They were great. Professional. On time. My big complaint is price. They gave me an estimate of $3000 to clean up after some Roof rats that made themselves a home in my attic and crawlspace. (They are not currently present, as the traps have captured nothing so far.) They provided me with an inflated list of items they recommended I do, including a long term contract. I told them that what I needed was the minimum necessary to satisfy the buyers of my home that the rat problem had been taken care of. (I live next to a very large forested area, so rats are going to be an ongoing problem). Instead, they gave me a list of things totalling $3000 and that was not guaranteed to keep the rats away unless I bought a long term contract for maintenance. I felt like they were trying to squeeze as much money out of me as possible, whether or not the work was necessary. In other words, I think they are in the business of maximizing their income rather than addressing the homeowner's needs in the most effective and efficient manner possible. I brought in another pest company to take a look at the attic and crawlspace to see what their assessment was and I didn't tell them how much these guys projected. The other pest company came in at less than half the cost and pointed out that the expense to block entry points was excessive as the rodents were entering from only one location, and that could be easily blocked at minimal expense. They also pointed out that cutting back all the trees from around the house wasn't going to help a lot, because a roof rat can squeeze through a hole the size of a half dollar and they have teeth. They can come in through plumbing, airvents in the roof etc. They live in trees, so climbing up the side of a house is not difficult for them at all, whether or not you have trees nearby. United Pest was correct though, the most effective way of controlling rodents is to have a company regularly inspect and eradicate them under a long term contract. It's been great. They are very friendly and professional. Each time they've come, they have explained what they're going to do. They get it done very quickly. Obviously, they have to go into your house but they don't make you feel uncomfortable. We haven't had any pet issues since we've been working with them.

They are pretty considerate and they are on schedule. I think they are pretty fair about their work and I think they do good work.

My experience with them has been very good. I am very pleased with them. Their price was a little higher than usual. I had them do something extra. I would certainly recommend them to family members and friends. I would say they have a good price and do good work.
