The house is looking so much better without the pesky spiders and I don't have to worry about walking into webs. I was so pleased with the work that when my Mother needed bees taken care of, I told her to contact Angie's list in here area. Another happy customer.

After talking to United Pest Solutions, they said what they did was basically remove 2 wasp nests for the deal through Angie's List. This seems a lot different than what is suggested by the ad. I decided this isn't what I am looking for and decided to cancel. Could you please issue me a refund. Thanks! BTW they also took a long time to email me for the appointment as well.

I purchased this product as one of the "specials" listed on Angie's list. Other than the attempted upsell when scheduling the service, (tried to get me to purchase a more expensive treatment), I was very happy with the service. The technician who came out was friendly and personable, and was happy to assist with my needs. He was right on time and I was very happy with the service.

I bought the deal and was able to schedule inspection fairly quickly. The inspector was on time and thoroughly inspected the premises for rodents and set traps. Service was efficient and as quoted.

They inspected - found no evidence of any rodents ever, but did find that builder of this 2 year old home had left holes in foundation concrete around sewer and storm pipes that could allow rodents in at some future date. They came back within 2 days and filled the holes with rock and concrete. Excellent, professional, great cleanup.

Awesome! I have been chasing the rat around for a week. And then bam. Literally, the first time I left the house after the guy came, the rat got himself killed. Yay.

They did find a grapefruit sized nest. She suited up for it and was able to remove it. She was here for maybe a half hour. The communication was very good and she seemed to know what she was doing. I was very pleased because she didn't have to spray chemicals to remove it.

It went fantastic. They were very professional. They took care of the wasps I was very impressed with the sales person. I would highly recommend them again.

Kris was very professional. He was no-nonsense, punctual, good at communicating the options, and clearly indicated what was done afterward. Although they originally recommended doing more work than I wanted, they were happy to do the more limited job that we agreed upon.

Provider , United Pest solutions, did not call to schedule in two days, as represented. I had to call twice. Eventually, I was told that my yellowjacket nest was not sufficiently "exterior" to be a $99 Big Deal. I feel that provider misrepresented the Deal and do not trust them. Please refund my $99 ASAP.

Karen was very prompt, efficient and helpful in explaining and taking care of the problem. The whole process only took about half an hour and she called in to make sure we weren't charged more than the $99 Angie's List special. Would recommend this service to others.

They had us watch it for 12 hours to see if they would need to come out to do a second treatment, at no additional cost. The first treatment was effective and we didn't need for them to come back.

The removal man was very knowledgeable about entomology, especially wasp behavior and habits. He said about 30 percent of the nest was queens, and each of those queens could have started new colonies in the neighborhood. He took one queen and a larva and preserved them. The bad news (for me) was that yellowjackets like the east sides of houses and that there would likely be more nests in future years. The job was quick and thorough and the information on wasp behavior quite interesting.

It went well, we got what we expected..

After doing a thorough exam of outside and inside , they gave us a lot of info on what to do. They recommended trimming bushes that would keep the rodents from climbing up to roof. They recommended adding a small barrier door at the entrance of the crawl space. The work was done promptly at a very reasonable cost. A good outcome and we would recommend using this company.

The company was very courteous and helpful, however I spoke with the person answering the phone and she said that they would be able to provide service on Monday (I called on Friday). I reviewed other deals and called back and again was told again Monday, but the person I needed to talk for the details was answering another call, so I was told to purchase the Angie's List coupon and I would receive a call. I called back after a few hours of waiting for a call back and found out the service could not be provided until Wednesday. I could not wait till Wednesday, since the problem is a nest of aggressive wasps that threaten us (and neighbors walking by) and I will be traveling...and it was 2 days after the date I was told would be available. I would like a refund and will procure services from another Angie's List provider, but will not do a big deal.

We started hearing the "pitter patter of little feet" (and not the good kind!) on our heating ducts under the house. Then we spotted some droppings in a back room. Eww! Rats! Found United Pest Solutions through a Big Deal for an inspection. Took a day or two to schedule the first visit. Our technician, Norman, was very professional, thorough & personable. He checked all around the foundation, went into the crawl space, even the attic. Examined the droppings and confirmed that it was Norway rats. He set about 3 traps in the crawl space and two under the kitchen sink. Showed us photos of areas where he believed they were accessing the crawl space (torn vent in the foundation, tunnel near sewer pipe, etc.) & gave us a bid to do those repairs. No hard sell, just good information. Advised us on ways to reduce rat access (cut back shrubs, etc.) We considered their bid overnight and called them the next day to schedule it. Work could begin in 7-10 days. On repair day, Norman showed up with concrete, gravel, screens and assorted other items, headed into the crawlspace (after disposing of 2 rats that'll never dance on our vents again) and did the repairs. Work took about a couple hours. Showed us photos of what he'd done. Placed a couple more traps to catch any remaining rodents. Returned a week later to remove them (plus one last dead rodent.) Two weeks later, no droppings, no scurrying sounds, no sign of any further infestation! During each visit, the technician was pleasant and thorough. He was thoughtful about us & our cat (no toxic materials, made sure traps were placed in such a way that the cat would not and could not get to them) and gave us lots of good advice about how to prevent a ratty return. True confessions: The thought of having rats in my house creeped me out. I keep a clean house but, ick, rats!? Norman was very professional and matter of fact about their presence & their determination to find food & shelter. No judgments. Also worth noting, there was no hard sell about yearlong follow-up plans or additional services As it turns out, our neighbors have been having a similar problem. They used a different company and had much less satisfying results. We've since referred them to United Pest.

They were quick to respond, arrived on time and completed the job to satisfaction.

Contacted United Pest Solutions mid morning, Weds July 26th. to remove a wasp nest in attic. Bees were starting to show in bedroom. Technician Norman arrived at scheduled time that afternoon. Norman is a skilled professional and resolved problem. Bees were exterminated, nest removed & area vacuumed to remove dead bees and nest. Would highly recommend.

We have two very small children and 2 dogs and my wife noticed yellow jackets entering into the upper eaves of our house. We started to freak out because they were very clearly "IN" the house now and not just external on the eaves like we have gotten used to. I called United Pest Solutions and was honestly not very clear about what we needed done, because frankly, I had no idea how to explain the situation. I essentially said I needed someone to come 1) clean the eaves and 2) go into our crawl space and find the hive and remove it. The operator I talked to was incredibly helpful despite my inability to really "explain" the situation. He gave me a competitive quote based on what he could glean as the problem and told me he had to check quickly on scheduling. He put me on a very brief hold and when he got back he said he could get someone out in a few hours! When I got home, Ulises was here performing the work. I had a brief talk with him and he explained that the bees were actually IN the wall and that this was fairly common. His recommendation was that he was going to put down something that the bees would bring back into the hive which would kill it, and that he really didn't think it was necessary to tear out the wall or do anything drastic. Then in a month or so after it had been confirmed as being killed, he said to seal the hole and it should be good. I went inside and called United because it seemed that the quote wasn't really reflective of the work that they had to do, and I was curious if they would honor that fact and charge me for the work done vs. the quote. To my surprise, the operator again was incredibly helpful and courteous. He said that as long as they really didn't have to the second part of the original quote, he would be happy to change the quote to reflect the real work. I know that seems like something that would be expected, but believe me, I have dealt with plenty of companies who will stick hard to their original quote regardless of what the changes end up being. Especially if the quoted amount was more than the actual work. I then realized that I had never mentioned that I found United through Angies List. I honestly didn't expect them to do anything but again they surprised me. The operator told me that they actually had a deal running and he gave me the deal. I will ABSOLUTELY use United Pest Solutions again and will recommend it to everyone that I know in the area. There is absolutely a reason why this company has such outstanding reviews and has won so many awards. Thank you again to Ulises and also the operator (whom I apologize I missed his name). Excellent, excellent, excellent. If I could have given an A+ I would have.

The treatment itself was fine, but I didn't receive the counsel I wanted for preventative care.

It was good. The deal first stood out and we've used them several times since then, actually. They were very timely, courteous, they don't seem like they are trying to sell you on a million things you don't need. I didn't feel like they were screwing me over. They've been nothing but good.

If you live in Seattle, you know how hard it is to control sugar ants. UPestS takes care of my home and a rental property on a service contract. They do a great job and come promptly if there is any invasion. They also bait for rats and treat for other insects, including sweeping outside for spiders.

I could not have been more pleased with the service provided. The inspector came out and was right on time, within minutes of the scheduled time. He was very polite and professional and explained all aspects of the service. Provided me with a clear description of steps I could take to mitigate the problem as well as showed me the area's that were of concern. Overall I would highly recommend them and will be having them back in the fall to perform additional mitigations and treatments.
