Description of Work: Rate to remove insect hive was $213.00. When I showed him the Angie's list coupon, he said that it was already included. The technician was able to remove the large hive. But left the smaller hives in the attic.

Description of Work: We identified what we thought to be moisture ants around our downstairs sliding door--outside. We call United Pest Solutions. They came our promptly. Identified the ants as some other kind, treated the problem in an environmentally safe manner at the basic rate and told us if the ants came back they would treat again at no cost, and/or do a more extensive, more expensive treatement. I like that they tried the cheaper method first and were willing to come back at no cost to try again before embarking on a more expensive treatment. The ants did not come back. The entire experience was simple, relativealy inexpensive and effective.

Description of Work: Ulyses arrived promply and completed a thorough inspection, identified the rodent problem and points of entry and submitted a proposal based on our need to remove trees and shrubs from the perimeter of the house and build a new access door for a crawl space. He completed some of the repairs, submitted a proposal to provide for three other repairs and began the treatment plan. We elected to enroll in the yearly program and felt the price was very fair. Ulysses is totally professional, works hard and leaves everything clean ......a great employee and a tribute to his firm.

Description of Work: I had an infestation of carpenter ants in my home. They were all over three rooms. They were cleaned up and a week later, we found more. I called United Pest Solutions based on Angie List recommendations. They set an appointment, came out on time, and their representative was very professional. After being at the house for about 20 minutes, he explained that he could not see where they came from. If they got into the walls, they would hatch, leave, and fly away. Since my house was closed up for a month, they must have been trapped in the house and died. As he was leaving, he said he would speak with the account manager and see if I could get a reduced fee since he did almost nothing at the house. When I received my bill, it was for the full amount of a home visit, without the Angie's List discount. I called to inquire what had happened and after investigating, they returned my call the same day, apologized for the miscommunications and forgetting the Angie's List discount, and decided to start fresh with no charges. That was an unexpected surprise, and definitely earned them a customer for the future!

Description of Work: United Pest Solutions put up wire in our crawl space vents to help keep out rats from our basement crawl space. Pricing was very reasonable - $25 per vent. And, they gave us the $25 Angie's List discount off the total for the work. We've used them several times and would absolutely call them again.

No pressure at all to sign up for annual contract. Follow up visit was included and even removed a hornets nest we identified after the fact. Highly recommend.
