From the time that Nicole came to give us an estimate for the job until the job was completed, it was a pleasure doing business with her. The workers were at our house for four days and were always on time, polite and hard-working ( the best part for me was that they sang as they worked). Nicole's relationship with the workers was professional, informative, and respectful. A happy crew is a productive crew. All the work that was promised was carried out and we were truly pleased with the results. Not only was the price reasonable, but Nicole was very helpful when it came to making some design decisions.The last day of painting, on Saturday, was a little hectic towards the end of a very long day, but everything was cleaned up and finished. There was a little mix-up about the washing machine hose not being reattached, but Nicole made sure one of the workers came and took care of it for me as soon as I found out. My husband and I would totally recommend all of this crew for interior painting. They were all a delight to work with.

The timing was perfect on this job, which requires some luck in this climate. We were fortunate. We had originally scheduled for last fall and then I couldn't gamble on the weather; both contractors were exceedingly polite when I was indecisive. Come spring, both contractors were ready to roll when I was. I appreciated the ability of Prime Coats to coordinate with the carpenter and his crew; it was essential. They knew the house would undergo a wonderful transformation and both contractors were confident.I believe that my satisfaction was their concern; Nicole and crew take pride in their work and craft. Excellent suggestions were made all around, including tactful guidance and facial expressions from the crew as I tried to stray from the original plan.One day I came home and the house looked warm, welcoming, cheerful, and vaguely familiar. I looked harder and realized it really was my home! I've lived here for 22 years, and there was a gem underneath the old exterior. I'm beyond pleased with the result. It was really fun! Scheduling for our availability and appropriate weather was well coordinated by Nichole Persson in advance. Workers arrived on time, rang front doorbell to coordinate their start time and access to back yard. Work was efficient and work areas were clean and orderly at end of each work day. We requested an increase in the scope of the work in mid-project and this was coordinated very smoothly by Nicole Persson. Excellent results on the painting! Careful Preparation, Perfect masking, Excellent Paint Coverage, Professional Clean-Up. Overall a good value for the work performed! We would not hesitate to have Prime Coats LLC do painting work again. We recommend them highly!

Absolutely outstanding job. The workers arrived promptly for work and cleaned up thoroughly after each day. The finished job looks terrific, and from the number of business cards that our neighbors requested from the owner Nicole, I think everyone in the neighborhood is quite impressed. We would definitely use this company again.

We have more deck square footage than anybody in our neighborhood and twenty big trees than dump debris on them all yeah long. We had neglected them for the 4 years we lived here and they needed a lot of love. Nicole at Prime Coats is an absolute doll, very knowledgable and helpful. Prime Coats was definitely not the cheapest of the estimates I got, but i liked Nicole the best personally of the people I talked to, and that was the tipping point for me. I didn't feel so cranky about cutting her check for thousands of dollars. Our decks look great now, and nobody's getting splinters walking barefoot on them anymore.

The whole process was very exceptional. The house looks great. My neighbors have complemented on the work and one neighbor took the info for their own use.

I had two rooms I wanted painted, a master bedroom and a laundry room. I received bids from three companies to do the work and they were all about the same price. I chose Nicole and Prime Coats because she was willing to help me with color selection and because she made suggestions with regard to what kind of paint should be used on the walls, trim, and ceilings. The representatives from the other two companies just asked me what I wanted and I didn't really know. She told me it would be a 2 day job and they would be able to start in about a week. The first day went well. Nicole and two employees showed up on time, Nicole helped with the masking then left, and the two employees worked the rest of the day. One employee was scheduled to return the next day between 8:30 am and 9:00 am to finish the job. When no one had arrived by 10:00 am I called Nicole but had to leave a message in her voicemail. She returned my call at 10:30 am to let me know that she had called the employee's house and found him still asleep but he was now on his way. She did call in additional employees to help so the job was finished on time. The next day I found a 1-1/2 inch gash in the headboard and a small ding in the footboard of my brand new bed. The workers had carefully covered the bed with thin plastic drop cloths but this offered no protection from collisions with tools or equipment. Nicole was very considerate about working with me to get the damage repaired. Overall, I think the bed should have been better protected but I would hire Prime Coats again.

Nicole was very knowledgeable and professional, and arrived a few minutes early. She provided excellent details about the process, and discovered a rotten board on our chimney siding that we were unaware of. The bid was fair, but we chose to go with another well-qualified company that was able to give us a better discount. I would certainly call them again.

I've used Prime Coats before and was very happy with their work. The previous job involved prepping, priming and painting the exterior trim. They did an excellent job; were punctual and professional. I found a small crack in one of the windows they painted and the came out immediately to replace it. The second time I hired them, I needed to have a newly plastered bedroom ceiling painted. They were again punctual and advised on non toxic paint in the bedroom and completed the job on time and to my safisfaction. I highly recommend them.

The hitch mentioned above involved having to texturize the walls before painting -- a process not anticipated before the wallpaper was removed.

We called Nicole in December to get an idea of how much it would cost to paint trim throughout the house, paint the bathroom & the difficult task of painting our Oak cabinets in kitchen and bath. We had no idea what was involved but she was very good at explaining how she would tackle it. Very pleased with her bid , but we decided to go with a company that seemed to have great experience with oak and dealing with the grain, as we did not want it to show. Saw previous work they had done that convinced us to go that route. Would certainly call on Nicole in the future as we used her in the past and she and her crew are wonderful.

Wow! I wish all A-rated Angie's List companies delivered service like Nicole and her team. They were great. Very courteous and professional. When I pointed out some paint that had got on the carpet, they took me very seriously and cleaned it up right away. They really care about their work! Would recommend Prime Coats more than any other Angie's List company I have ever used. They won't let you down.

Very well. I think the price was fair for the quality of work they did. They did a thorough, good job. Workers were fast, quiet and left everything clean. I have recommended them to several friends.

The work was well done. The owner told us what to expect from each phase of the work and delivered on her promises. After each day, the crew cleaned up and stored the materials for the following days' work out of the way in a tidy stack. I was very pleased with all aspects of the job and when we need painting services again, I will not hesitate to engage Prime Coats.

Because of rainy weather off and on all summer, the job was performed later in the year than both they and I expected. That said, once they commenced work, they took advantage of every break in the weather. There was a crew of three, who worked very well with each other and me. They were unfailingly pleasant, quiet and extremely hard workers and worked very long days to take advantage of all the light available. They went out of their way not to inconvenience me.

They did what they said they would. They were on time, did a great job. They were flexible and had a great staff of employees, and were always good at communicating with me. Nicole the owner was wonderful. She was fully insured, and this makes me more comfortable doing business with them.

Nicole (the company owner) was very professional, pleasant, and responsive. She met with us in advance and had some good tips on how and when to choose colors, communicated very well with us and the carpenters on project scheduling, and made sure the work was done well. Her workers were pleasant and very good. Daily cleanup at the work site was excellent, and when the work was done the house looked great.

We recieved an estmate from Prime Coats while choosing a house painter this summer. It was a very clear and detailed report of specific preparation and painting details to be performed that was within range of the other estimates we reviewed prior to the job. The choice to use another contractor was not based on the Prime Coats estimate. In fact, Nicole was a very knowledgable and straighforward during the process. We went with a friend of a friend, tried to save a few dollars in the process, and ultimately ended up regretting not using Prime Coats to complete the work.

It was great! We initially had the house disorganized to put in a new floor and refinish other floors. We decided since everything was moved around to try to find a painter. She was the only person we called who responded in a timely fashion and she happened to have a date available so that she could paint while the house was in disorder from the first project. She was always professional and friendly and the job was high quality. We liked that she chose high quality paint.

The carpenters were excellent. The quality of the work cannot be beat. My husband and I are extremely thrilled, We have had work on our deck prior, actually 5 times throughout the 17 years of owning it, but Prime Coats LLC was the only company who wowed us. I can not say enough positive things about Prime Coats LLC and I would definitely recommend their services. This entire process took two days and felt the price was very fair. Our deck hasn't looked this good in all of its years, even the day it was built.

The job was finished timely and there was excellent communications as the work progressed. I am so glad I use Angie's list. I have contracted for two different jobs and in both cases we had superb service, excellent craftsmanship and friendly workers.

From start to finish the services provided by Nicole and her team were professional, high quality and completed meticulously. This company prides itself on quality customer service and it showed. I was very pleased and have received numerous comments on how great the house now looks.

Terrific. I took bids from 3 painters, and compared them on price, proposed activities and materials. The owner of Prime Coats came out to bid on painting the building, and an adjacent building that we later chose to delay painting until 2011. She thoroughly inspected the building exteriors, and provided a detailed estimate. She described the scraping process, how lead from the old building paint is contained, how the prep work would be done, etc, in great detail. After reviewing bids, hers was the most competitive given our criteria. We scheduled her to paint over the summer. Her crew started on time, and finished on time. The paint has only been on the house for 8 months, but so far it appears that they did an exceedingly good job. We look forward to working with her again for future house painting.
