After our sewer backed up on a Sunday, Ambrose called back promptly and fit us into his schedule the very next day. Despite his busy schedule and the fact that he was fitting us in, he took extra time to talk me through our upcoming project of replacing the entire pipe out to the street. He's also going to come back (on his own time) to walk my husband through the plan before we start. Ambrose has been our go-to plumber for seven years now, and this type of prompt, professional response is just how he runs his business. He and Mitch have both been 100% reliable, friendly, very thorough - and affordable. Best of all, despite our larger sewer problems, they have never once pressured us to do anything until we were ready. 411 is a very practical, thorough, and professional business that does excellent work, every single time.

Called 411 plumber at 10:00 am Ambrose arrived at 1:00 fixed the shower & cleaned the drains. They do great work & I would use them again for sure.

Ambrose is such a pleasure to work with. This is the 3rd time I have used him. The first 2 times, my pipes were frozen and he came out that same day. I was impressed he could fit me in on such short notice because I called multiple companies and he was the only one that could come since it was an emergency situation (one of the times my pipe already burst). Ambrose is very punctual, responsive, and very fast in completing the jobs! With the pex job, Mitch accompanied him and he was also very nice and good. And to top it all off, at the end of the job the price was cheaper than the original bid because the job took less time than he originally thought. He was honest about that and I really appreciated that! It's hard to find good guys like Ambrose. I will use him for all of my future plumbing needs and recommend him highly!

WOW! I am rarely blown away by service done at my home, but today was special. A little background: We had a leaky shower faucet that had been driving us crazy - drip, drip, drip. My father-in-law who is quite the handyman came to town on vacation and generously offered to help try to repair the problem. After fighting to remove old shower handles for several hours he uncovered the underlying plumbing. Then my father-in-law said words no homeowner wants to hear: "What a mess! Look at the broken off tile, and you can't get at the plumbing! And what the heck is THAT?!" After taking some pictures and going to Home Depot for a bit of advice, we found we had parts typically installed in condos in our residential home, including a shut-off screwdriver stop which is what my father-in-law had been puzzled about. The screwdriver stop supposedly would turn off the water to allow us to replace leaky valves to solve our drip. So we tried the stop. And of course as luck would have it, the 40+ year old stop started to leak only now this leak was INSIDE the wall! Argh! An annoyance was now a real problem! After a search on Angie's list, we were able to find 411 Plumber and gave them a call. Within 2 hrs, they had responded and were able to fit in a visit that afternoon to help assess the problem. 411 Plumber shuffled their schedule and were able to get a team out to our house the next morning to replace the fixtures, replumb everything that needed to be replaced and what surprised me the most is how great it all looks! I fully expected a re-tiling nightmare after hearing what was going to need to be done with all the piping that needed to be removed, but they were able to go in from a closet behind the tub (adding a new access panel for our plumbing by the way) and using a beautiful remodel plate to cover the existing messy tile holes that had been left behind from the initial install. The final cost was right in the middle of the original estimate, it looks BEAUTIFUL, and Mitch and Ambrose who did all the work left our house looking spotless! I can't shut up to our neighbors about how impressed I am and have already passed on their business card to a neighbor who may need some work done soon. I have no hesitation at all about recommending 411 Plumber to all my friends/family and know that if we have any projects in the future that we have someone we can trust to turn to again!

Sent email to Ambrose Herrera on 5/4 setting out the bullet points for what I needed done. The next day he called and we set an appointment for him to come the following morning to scope out the work. On 5/7 I had an estimate by email with dollar estimates for each of my original bullet points. During the initial appointment we needed to find the water cutoff for the townhome which I was ignorant of the location having just purchased the property. In that search Ambrose checked out the crawl space. We eventually found the house cutoff in the garage hidden behind the water heater. After checking out a number of things I approved for 411 plumbing to do the work and we set 9am on 5/13 for the work to be done. Ambrose and Mitch arrived about 5 minutes of 9 and got to work. While in the house they were careful to shed their shoes which saves the carpet. There was one hitch after things were under way for a couple of hours - the water had to be turned off for the townhome complex for 20-30 minutes to place the pressure reducing valve inline. I called the HOA manager and sent out a quick warning email and so far no one has told me they were stuck in the shower without water. The whole project was done by around 2pm. They removed the old water heater and expansion tank and tidied up. They don't repair sheetrock so only the 12" x 18" hole that they opened up in the garage wall to install the pressure reducing valve remains to be covered.

Removed a cat toy that had become stuck inside the bathtub drain. Sounds silly but that little thing was completely blocking the drain and the tub would not drain even overnight.

Basement overflowed with plugged drain. Water dept verified it was not their line. Called 411 plumbing and had prompt service. They discovered that there was no outside access to water drainage lines and cut line to put in access line, ran a saw through the line and broke up the blockage by cutting tree roots.

Nothing like having your dishwasher start backing up into the bathtub on a holiday (Veterans Day). We called and they were here in very short order and figured out the problem with out 50 year old plumbing and had it running again very fast.

A 4 man crew arrived at 9am and started in right away. Carlos and John started working on the line from the meter to the house. They dug a trench 30 inches deep and wide. The lawn was cut into squares so it could be put back later. The dirt from the trench was put on to a tarp so it did not get on lawn. Carlos and John were very friendly and did a very good job. Ambrose went inside to start opening the walls to get old pipe out and get ready to install Pex pipe. Ambrose went under house to remove old pipe and then start installing Pex pipe. 1 inch Pex was run from meter to house and then 3/4 and 1/2 inch was used to connect to washer, kitchen, bathroom, shower and hose bibs. I wanted the new pipe to be in the walls. Usually retro- fits are run just in from of the walls to the sinks, etc. Now, they do not close the walls up. This has to be done by you or someone that does drywall. I can mud and tape so I did it myself. Ambrose and Mitch always kept me up to speed on everything. After everything was finished, Ambrose took me around to show me all the work and where shutoff valves were located. I am glad he showed me how the freeze bibs work on the outside of the house. When shut off they bleed off water for a few seconds. The whole crew was very professional did a great job. The price of $5685.00 includes a new shower valve, brushed nickel trim and new toilet. I am glad to be rid of the old corroded pipe and have water running through clean pipes. I actually went under the house and took pictures of the job. The Pex was run and hung very neatly. I highly recommend 411 Plumber.

Very punctual, came exactly at the time indicated all three times. He was very polite and gave me the Angie's List discount. Very professional, I was very satisfied with the quality of the work. Reasonable prices. Before using 411 Plumber, I had used a variety of plumbers for different jobs. This is the only plumber that I thought was worth recommending to others.

Pinch me. Is there really a plumber in this world who is so responsive, professional, and dedicated? Ambrose somehow manages to do good work AND to run a good business. That's rare in this world. Great communication, manages expectations, reliable, punctual... outstanding.

I had a nightmare come true on November 19th during our record rains. I opened my basement door and heard what sounded like thunder in my basement. I went down and saw water and sewage everywhere. I called the city and I called 411 Plumber. The city came out and said the main sewer and storm sewers were working fine. Mitch, from 411 Plumber, couldn't come that night, but promised to come the next morning. He did and ran a cable down through my clean-out. He had to try twice due to roots from a neighbor's tree off-setting the underground pipe. When he was checking things out in my basement, he noted that my pilot light had gone out on my gas water heater. He re-lit it. Just as he was getting ready to leave, it began raining hard again. Immediately, water and sewage began erupting out of my basement toilet and utility sink. It was clear to him that this had nothing to do with my sewer line. Mitch called later in the afternoon to see what progress was being made and even dropped by on Wednesday to see if he could help. Besides doing a good job, he went the extra mile in checking with me and also by assuring me that this was not my fault. I really appreciated this since it took three days to finally get to the bottom of what was going wrong.

Again, I want to share a positive experience regarding service by 411 Plumber. I left a message on Saturday regarding a clogged drain issue at my rental property. My call was returned on Monday morning and the issue was resolved by noon that same day. I will continue to call 411 Plumber for all of my plumbing needs and highly recommend Ambrose and his crew at 411 Plumber to anyone needing a plumber....despite the size of the job.

I priced-out four different plumbers on Angie's List. 411 Plumber was the cheapest and the fastest to respond. I will definitely use 411 Plumber again, and I refer it to anyone who is looking for a plumber.

We were very pleased with the company, very efficient and friendly, it was two of them that came out. They also had some parts in the car, so they did not need to order parts, which saved us time....Good job guys.

I made contact on 12-18-11, received a response on the 19th asking for a contact # to discuss the job further. I did this, but never heard back. I am using another plumber for the several jobs needed!

My shower faucet had been leaking for a couple of weeks and as an Angie's List member I looked for assistance there. I called 411Plumber who came out the next day, checked to see what was wrong and ended up replacing two washers and springs. I would call 411 again [but I hope I don't have to :-)]

Ambrose did a great job. He used quality parts. The finished project looks professonally installed and works great without leaks. He minimized the number of holes in walls and ceilings to minimize the cost to repair the sheetrock. He did so even though it took him extra time to figure out how to bypass unseen obstructions. He did not charge extra from his bid to take care of these complications that he was not able to see during his estimate.. He did not open extra holes to make his job simpler. He went out of his way to make sure the job was completed in a manner that was most beneficial for me. I am very pleased with his work.

I called 411 plumber and he came out when fix the problem with the toilets and I told him about another problem I was having with the water and he sugested a pressure valve and he installed it on lhis next visit and everything works as it should. I couldn't be more please with the work or the plumber. Will use them again

The 411 owner arrived on time, was very pleasant and a good communicator. He made some small repairs for us, surprising us by how quickly he worked. We noted--happily--that he is ethical and fair and takes pride in doing a good job. We will hire him in the future to install some new pipes.

The process was smooth from assessment of problem to completion of work.

Great job, especially dealing with the unexpected problems of missing parts and a rusted out sink (solved within an hour).

The person did a good job with the bath shower installation, but the new kitchen faucet does not seem to be fixed tightly and i find myself in need of a plumber again.

He was professional, he first looked at the probelm sink, and toilets, then started to work on the sink. He was clean about his work, was professional, told us as he was working what the problem was, he fixed the leaking kitchen sink, gave us advice on what types of kitchen faucets are out there (which we needed but had not purchased yet). He fixed the leaking toilets afterwards. He was even ok with our quite territorial dog.
