Andrey and Art came out, looked over the space, and ended up doing an excellent job laying down tile in this space. It was tricky for two reasons; the concrete floor was not completely level and there was a lip of concrete 1 1/2 inches higher around two of the four walls. They applied leveling compound to solve the first issue, and as if by design, by the time tile was laid, it was level with the lip. The result was grouted and the lip was painted by us to match. We would hire Long's again in the future.

Turned up promptly for a quote. Gave a good price straight away, ordered the product immediately on my approval and had it in from Georgia within a week. I did have to call the day before to confirm they will start the end day, but they turned up on time, worked like dogs and got it done in time and nicely. Price was better than another company whom I used before for the downstairs (and had negotiated that downwards with this other company too). I had a problem with a battery dying on my smoke alarm during the time the workers were there. Not any way related to their work, but it was making an irksome noise and as a not handy at all woman I asked the worker for help and they disconnected the smoke alarm and told me what I needed to tell my husband to fix it longer term. I would use Long's Floors again in a heartbeat. Saves time running around for quote - they gave me a good price straight away - and they got things done pleasantly and efficiently.

Went very well from start to finish. Installers were wonderful, efficient and professional. Went above and beyond helping move furniture, finished a 1-1/2 day job in one.

The salesperson was very friendly and helpful. The installers did a great job.

Very helpful at the showroom. Let us take home samples until we found the right color. Arrived on time and did a nice job.

we got bids on carpet from Longs, Home Depot and our contractor. They were all priced about the same, but ultimately Longs was able to give us more options and then got even better on price. They were just great in the showroom and were very reliable when they installed. We would use them again in a heartbeat and have recommended to others. How nice to use the local company!

I thought their price was fair. When they give you a quote, it is by the square foot or something. They don't do it by the yard, which I thing is a little easier. They were prompt. I had a woman help me and she was good. The price I think was fair. I could possibly use them in the future.

The only problem was that the baseboards in some rooms needed to be removed for carpet installation so the painter had to come back afterwards. However, Long's provided an allowance for the work. They did not figure the base boards needed removal beforehand. Long's very professionally and fairly conducted their contracted work. Highly recommended.

Overall it went well. Longs was recommended to us by our real estate agent. Initially their prices were higher than the big box stores, but they had overstock in their warehouse that we chose which was price competitive. The installation went well and they even replaced defective carpet in one of the rooms without us noticing or asking. The quoted price versus measured price was quite a bit different (25%) and higher than what we found to be the industry average (10-15%).

This is the second room that Long's has done for us. We purchased the carpet on Saturday and it was installed on Monday afternoon. They were scheduled to arrive in the afternoon, called mid morning and told us that they would be there in about an hour. They removed the old carpet and pad and hauled away, installed the new carpet and pad. The gentlemen who did the job also did another room down the hall about 1 year ago. They do good quality work and provide a great value. We looked at some of the big box stores, they would have to come out and measure, then order the carpet, then schedule it to be installed, it all took anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks as they told us they were very busy. We went to a carpet discount store in Kirkland and they advertised whole house of carpet installed for $34, but since we were doing just one room the installation alone was $168.00.

We used a remnant carpet. We got a great deal on the carpet. It was the last thing on the roll and it sticks up but they said it would go away. A year later it is gone. I would use them again in the future.

There were 2 different crews of installers (1 did carpet install, 1 did Vinyl install) Both teams were on-time, professional, friendly & did a great job! If we re-do more of the flooring in the house later this year we will definately be going back to them! fyi: some slight wear/tear on base molding where carpet was installed (baby's room) but we were forewarned and are prepared to do touch up; so communication was great in helping with our expectations! Jason- was the name of the sales guy in the store & he also came out to our house to do measurements. Very helpful & not pushy.

The office and sales staff were always friendly and helpful. The installers, I felt, did not have the level of confidence and experience needed for installing wool carpeting. There were issues with seams and with the carpet on the stairs. If you are installing wool carpet I'd suggest looking somewhere else, however if you are installing a synthetic carpet I think Long's would be a company to definitely check out.

We initially got a quote a number of months ago. We decided to wait for new carpet and then returned to complete the process. They had no problem honoring the quote from before and quickly set up a date for installation. They came and moved out our furniture, removed the old carpet and pad, and then installed the new carpet and pad. They put all of the furniture back without issue. They were very professional during the entire process. The house was left clean after the installation and they did a good job of protecting our furniture, the floors, and our walls. All in all this was a simple process.

THE SALES PERSON AT LONG'S HOME FASHION CENTER WAS NOT ONLY HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS BUT VERY CREATIVE AS WELL. SHE CAME OUT TO OUR HOME AND MEASURED IN ORDER TO GET THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF CARPETING NEEDED. WE WERE HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS AND HAVE PURCHASED CARPETING FROM LONG'S.

LONG'S FLOORS DID NOT PROVIDE VERY QUALITY SERVICE AT THE SHOWROOM. THE PEOPLE WERE QUITE RUDE AND NOT VERY HELPFUL. THE CARPET INSTALLERS WERE VERY CLEAN, EFFICIENT AND FRIENDLY.

THE JOB PERFORMED BY THE INSTALLERS OF OUR NEW FLOORING WAS EXCEPTIONAL. THE PROCESS OF SELECTION WAS NOT STRESSFUL LIKE I HAD THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. THEIR SALES PERSON REALLY HELPED OUR DECISION PROCESS AND DID NOT MAKE US FEEL LIKE THEY WERE TRYING TO GET AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE FROM US. LONG'S HAS BEEN AN ESTABLISHED BUSINESS IN OUR COMMUNITY FOR AT LEAST 30 YEARS. THEY STAY IN BUSINESS EVEN THOUGH THEY NOW HAVE ALL THE LARGE COMPANIES TO COMPETE WITH. THEY ARE THE BEST.
