Longs Floors

Description of Work: Exceptional in every respect. Vinyl flooring was installed in several rooms. The project was completed in a very timely fashion. The price was good and I plan to use them for future projects.

Description of Work: We have used Long's several times over the last 17 years. They have installed carpets, vinyl, and now engineered wood for us. The last job was technically complicated by some flatness issues with the floors. Brenda made several trips to the house to estimate, and then inspect the subfloors prior to installation, both before and after subfloor repairs. She made suggestions on the best material to accommodate our subfloor and still give us the look we wanted. She communicated with the installer on what was possible. Carl and his friendly crew were able to deliver on her promises and do the whole job in one day, even though we had estimated two. The final result is fantastic -- a hardwood floor that is as nice as the rest of my newly remodeled kitchen and dining room. We are very happy with the result.

Description of Work: They installed carpet in two rooms. The electrical floor outlet is now loose-no longer secure so I will have to get an electrician to fix it. I don't use that outlet too often and it is under an end table but it is not the same anymore... :(

Description of Work: We had a great experience working with Christine Miller-Long and her installation crew when buying new carpet for our home. I liked that Christine never "sold" me, but showed us a carpets in a range of prices and helped us make a value for price based decision on the style, weight, and content. Ultimately, we decided to with Christine's recommendation and felt she helped us make the right choice. | |The instillation crew were professional and took care with our belongings. The new carpet looks great - no seams, steps are perfect. Wish I did this sooner. Would go back to Long's first (might be my only stop) when I needed flooring.

Description of Work: I was in need of a repair of a bamboo floor installed by another contractor. The Long's flooring installation specialist came to my condo the same day that I called. He was very professional and helpful in discussing the cause of my flor issues and how to keep from causing further damage, he was very knowledgeable. Because Long's were not the installer their policy would not do the repair, but he did promise to connect me with a well qualified person to do the repairs. They called me the next day and we have just well-tipped the man for giving us back our beautiful floors.

Description of Work: Full carpet replacement for the entire home, and tile for the master bathroom. Excellent service, guidance, and professionalism from the Long's Floor team.
