Ken did an excellent job. Tank was close to overflowing and the filter was clogged. Explained everything he was doing along the way. Would highly recommend.

Excellent work. Watching the "CrustBuster" liquefy the solids tank was interesting. Good father (Ken) and son (Sean) team.

Prices were somewhat high but they did excellent service. They also had great advice on locating my septic tank every 3 or 4 yrs.

At 11:35 pm last night, my daughter and I were on our hands and knees, piles of soggy bath towels between us, wondering where all the water was coming from. By lunchtime the following day, we learned about baffles and bacteria; scum and sludge; and...well...let's just say that it was a crappy educational experience (in a good way!). For you locals, I can't possibly recommend McNel Septic enough. Ken was great and had the heart of a teacher. We now know how to better maintain our septic system. The cost was slightly higher (~$537 for 1,200+ gallons) than the competition, but worth every penny because of the education and thoroughness.

Helped me find the lid to my tank and dug it up as I have only owned the house a couple years. It was not an easy job as my tank's outlet lid had fused itself to the tank and had to be pried open. They let me know what was going on every step of the process and were very nice. I really appreciate the explanations and the professional work and checking the status of my tank. The replacement of the outlet pipe cost me money today but will extend the life of my system over the long term.

Possibly the best service we have ever had. They bent over backwards to get us immediate help as we were unable to use any water. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and very approachable. He kept us informed as to every step and explained each procedure understandably. They now have a new life time client! I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Quick response. Was able to squeeze me in between appointments. Had a septic alarm early in the morning, but the control panel indicated the water was not at a level that needed the pump to run. Shawn was able to isolate the problem to a backup pump shutoff float that was defective. Replaced the float, reattached float cables.

Excellent! We were having issues with our septic tank where our pump was no longer working. We called several companies on an emergency to have all of our tanks pumped. McNel was the soonest that could come to pump the tanks. They stated it would have to be Monday as they needed a different truck for our narrow driveway. They ended up calling and performing the service on a Saturday as they were able to get their smaller truck working sooner. The quick response, professionalism, honesty and service we received was excellent! We will be using this service provider in the future!

The owner of this company was a GREAT help to us! He first off gave us a referral to another company when he was unable to get to us in an emergency situation. I then called him later and he walked me through an awkward situation I was in with my septic system and others services I was going to need. Essentially he told me how to remedy the situation myself on a temporary basis until I could decide how to move forward. What a breath of fresh air! Clearly a good man doing right by people. Refreshing. We will FOREVER use him going forward for all our septic needs.

Before calling, I located and dug up the lid to the tank. When Shawn and his dad arrived, he told me there were actually 2 tanks that needed to be pumped due to this being a cascade tank. He told me where it was and let me know that if I dug it he wouldn't have to charge me for digging. He also agreed to be back in half an hour without charging me for his time spent waiting. He arrived back as scheduled and cleaned the tanks to the bare concrete pumping out 12 years of accumulated sewage. Nice job, good people.

We had an emergency, our toilets were backing up. We called a plumber, but he said it sounded like septic was plugged. We called McNel Septic, was asked to describe problem, and they scheduled Shawn to come out within 2 1/2 hours. He showed up within that time, assessed the situation and quoted the price based on the size of the tank. He immediately got to work and had the tank pumped within 45 minutes. He cleaned up after himself. He was pleasant and professional and knowledgeable, as were the people I spoke to on the phone. I appreciated their advice and quick response and think the cost was reasonable.

I'm in the middle of a home addition and while digging for a sewer reroute my contractor ran into a huge concrete septic tank which was abandoned in the late 70's with sewage still in it! I made frantic phone calls to pumping services and luckily got hold of Shawn. He was at my house within an hour. His pleasant and fantastic attitude made the whole disaster calmer. Big thumbs up! My remodel wasn't delayed as a result.

They were very good at communicating with me and were very professional and courteous. They did an excellent job, and I would highly recommend them.

It could not have gone better. After the issue was said and done, McNel spent extra time teaching me the how's and why's of septic tank maintenance. They also review and correcting some of the work done by previous septic services - for no charge. I will definitely continue to call McNel Septic; I recommend them to anyone. They are good.

They arrived on time (slightly early, actually) and finished the job quickly. They took the time to explain how things went and to explain how my septic system was looking after they finished. Overall a great experience, and I would definitely use them again.

Shawn was on time, quickly located tanks & lid. Careful to return area back the best he was able. Super helpful, explaining levels he was looking for. Products to use such as the best brands of toilet paper for septic tanks.

McNel was able to come to our house earlier in the day (than the agreed-upon meeting time), based on their revised morning schedule... They called me to see if I could meet earlier. This actually helped me out, due to my own cramped schedule, so I was happy to say, "yes!" We met at the house, and they walked me through the condition of the system, as well as some do's and don'ts. We agreed that it was a good idea to have the system pumped, and they did it in a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable price. I would call McNel again.

Service went good. However, they were very backed up and had to wait 2 weeks to get service performed. This is a problem when you have a septic backup.

They were very reasonably priced, and I have used them before for another property. They are reliable, show up on time, take the time to explain to me what they are doing and why, and let me know about the maintenance I can do myself to keep the system working well. They also give me advice on what not to put down the drain and what toilet papers are better for the septic system than others.

They arrived on time and did a good job. Their pricing was fair. They were also friendly and we would use them again.

They worked on it for a while before they could figure out what was going on and why there was a blockage. It turned out that the blockage was in a part of the system that stored the septic before it went in the tank. They cleared up the blockage and didn’t charge me extra for it. I would use them again.

The pricing is within reason. They were recommended by the previous owner of the house, and they have always delivered great service. I have not had any issues with their customer service, and they always show up on time.

They were great. They got the job done and check up on me to give me status updates. They were very communicative and there were no issues scheduling with them.

They were prompt and seemed to know what they were doing. Their customer service and the people who came out are courteous and professional. I feel like their pricing is also at the industry standard.
