John came to the house twice. The first time he looked at the roof, went into the attic, took pictures. He returned a few days later with an estimate and to discuss our options. He was extremely professional and informative. We had an estimate from a competing company and they were very close in price. It made for a difficult decision, almost resulting in the toss of a coin. We chose the competing company, but would definitely consider using Patriot in the future.

The service was excellent. They are great guys. The work was done on time and they answered all of my phone calls. I was more than pleased.

We had four bids for this project. Three of the four were almost the same as far as cost goes. John was our first contact with Patriot. He arrived right on time to look at the roof (actually he was 5 minutes late but he called to say so). He was there for at least an hour, asking questions about the leaks, what we wanted done, etc. His knowledge of roofing systems for manufactured homes was the deciding factor for choosing PR to do the job. He did an excellent job of explaining the good and bad of our roof, code requirements and what needing fixing and what didn't need fixing. He took his time on the roof measuring and inspecting to be sure we got an accurate quote. Within a day or so he returned with the quote and spent close to another hour explaining what needed to be done, material options, etc. They were right on time to start the project. The foreman introduced the crew and explained everything to be done. They were very careful to spot their trailer so as not to destroy any landscaping and covered anything in danger while tearing off the old roof. Each time I had a question the foreman would take the time to explain and answer. Once the old roof was off they removed a few sheets of the OSB between the sections (home is a triple wide) to ensure the manufacturer had done the venting correctly. They did not have any trouble removing the pieces to look because when the home was placed the set up crew did not have the OSB nailed down where the sections join. I believe this is what starting the leaking. Once they replaced the damaged OSB with new plywood they covered the entire roof with ice and water shield. At the end of the day they cleaned up any garbage on the ground before they left. Next morning they again were right on time went right to work installing shingles, new vents and skylight. Steve the owner of PR stopped by several times each day to ensure all work was being done to our satisfaction. When they left after the job was done there were no signs they had even been there. We are very satisfied with the work they did and would not hesitate to use them again. Everything from start to finish was professional. The new roof looks great. Based on other projects I've seen or had done it is nice to see there are still companies out there that take pride in their work and go out of the way to ensure customer satisfaction. Thanks again.

We requested bids from four different roofing companies. One bid was very low, and was just a re-roofing, without addressing any of the issues that made it necessary to completely replace a roof that was only 12 years old. The other three companies all addressed the problems, but were vastly different in their methodology. One company spent less than 15 minutes on the roof. Patriot's estimator was at our home over two hours - both inspecting the roof thoroughly, and educating us on what we should be looking for. He provided a code manual, and told my husband where to search the internet to find out how things should be done. He then took all his measurements, and called us back two days later to make an appointment to come back and discuss the estimate with us. He walked us through the issues and what Patriot would do to eliminate the problems, what it would cost, what discounts they could offer, and how long the job would take. He made sure we had no other questions. After receiving the other bids, one of which was nearly the same, and one of which was quite a bit more, we chose Patriot based on research, the thoroughness and professionalism of the estimator, and comparisons of the various bids. They were able to schedule us within a week. The workmen showed up exactly on time. They introduced themselves, and the job foreman made sure he explained what they would be doing, and when - and then they went to work. They were extremely careful with the tearoff of the existing shingles, making sure there was a minimum of trash. They neatly replaced several pieces of sheeting that were water damaged and removed damaged fascia boards. The first afternoon it poured rain, which delayed the job somewhat, but they covered everything up, and when the rain eased, they were right back to work. Other than a short lunch break, they didn't stop. The company provides a porta potty, so the crewmen never came into the house at all except to make sure of a good connection on the gas exhaust for our hot water heater, which slipped out of alignment when the damaged collar was removed. Every evening, they hand picked up any trash, then carefully went over the entire perimeter of the house with a magnet. The job foreman was also the TPO expert, and while he was working on the rear third of the roof, the rest of the team laid shingles. When the foreman inspected their work, he was not happy with a couple of sections because they were not perfectly aligned and those were removed and relaid - the end result is as perfect as humans could make it, and looks great. These guys are pros and they stand behind their work. At the end of the job, we got a transferable 20-year warranty on the workmanship! This is over and above the materials guarantees. In addition to all of the great work, Patriot was also able to recommend a method of financing through a local credit union that made this extremely expensive but necessary job affordable for us on our fixed income. Monday, May 21. Last night/early this morning we got a fairly heavy rain lasting about 30 minutes or so. And you know what was nice about it is that none of that water can inside our house. This is what we'd hope for and what everyone at Patriot Roofing promised would happen. You can never know just how comforting it is to know our roof no longer leaks, Thank you again Patriot.

We have nothing but good to say about Patriot Roofing (PR)! Anytime we've hired someone to work on our home in the past, Husband has had to 'fix' it while mumbling that, "Nobody does good work these days!" Well that doesn't pertain to Patriot Roofing! Our experience with them is the same as the previous evaluation nearly word for word except that we hired them twice! Our patio roof was leaking badly so on Monday, Feb. 22nd, we called PR because of a coupon discount in VAl-Pak. I got Steve Campbell, owner of PR., who sent over John Campopiano, Roofing Consultant, on Tuesday. John explained to us that the old treatment on our flat roof was no longer doing it's job and that the modern solution was a product similar to a swimming pool liner. That made sence to us so we hired PR on the spot without any other bids.We were that impressed! The job was completed on Friday of the same week with no leaks since. While they were involved with the patio roof, we were told by Steve & the work forman both, that the rest of the roof was "Near the end of its useful life." Since it, also, was leaking, we asked that John come over again for an estimate. We are retired on a tight fixed income so when John gave us a bid, we tried to talk him down on price. PR gave us every discount that they could but what it all came down to was that they wouldn't compromise their service to the customer by doing a job that wasn't up to code or didn't comply with the material's warranty. Wow! We were impressed again! So, because we liked Steve, John, and the work crew so much, we hired them again! Talk about great service! The crew was here for three days and the work was done by productive, fast working men who are a credit to the workforce. Our house is beautiflu with it's new roof and we are assured that it is up to code, properly ventilated, and that there will be no drips or weather damage for years to come. We want to thank Steve, John, & the work crew for a wonderful job and the great, courtious customer service! We reccomend Patriot Roofing whole heartedly and thank you, Angie's List for the opportunity to tell others about them!!!

They guys were great. They were extremely professional from start to finish. On the initial inspection of my roof they were more thorough then any other roofing company. They even inspected my attic and found potential ventilation issues that no other roofing company found. My house was built 25 years ago and didn't meet current ventilation codes. If I would have left everything the way it currently was, like every other roofing company was bidding, my manufacturer's warranties would have been voided or greatly reduced. After the initial inspection, they came back out and explained in great detail all the elements of the job including all the different components of the roof system. Every other company just emailed me a very vague bid with very few details. I've been burned by vague construction contracts in the past and really appreciated Patriot's detailed roofing proposal. The day the job started the guys were right on time. The crew foreman started by introducing himself and his crew then he went over all the elements of the job again. After that they went right to work. The job took around 4 days to complete from start to finish. Each day the crew swept up debris and rolled a magnet over the landscaping for any nails. There were no surprises with the job, mainly because the initial inspection was so detailed. They uncovered any potential surprises before they started. I have had contractors in the past ask me for additional money once the job started because of something they missed. It's refreshing to see a company stay within estimated budgets. Once the job was completed a final walk-through was done with the production manager to make sure everything was absolutely perfect and I was completely satisfied. I could not have been more satisfied with these guys. If you are looking for a contractor, you have to check out Patriot Roofing. They are by far one of the best construction companies I have ever had do work for me.
