My experience with them was good. We were really disappointed in the fact that we had to wait as long as we did, considering we got a bid early, but they were booked, apparently. They were professional and they did a reasonable job. When we found something wrong they came back and fixed it. I don't really have too many complaints. They're responsive and punctual.

Estimator was very knowledgible. Work was done on time and clen up was very good.

I contracted Rainshield to perform a number of projects around the house. They initially had a staffing issues where the original individual who came out provided the bid then started the work, quit after a few weeks with the work not being completed. There was no activity on the projects for a month or so until I called the office. Once the office realized that the work was not completed, they responded quickly and apologized. The work they were doing was not time sensitive or an eye sore during the work. They did change individuals again during the projects, but the new person was skilled and we were happy with him. The staff kept us advised about when they would be there to work on the projects. They maintained a clean and safe work site. We expanded to scope during the project, I felt they provided a fair price for the additional work. We were happy with the quality and price of the work and would use them again.

They did a great job and cleaned up after the job was done. You never knew they were here afterwards. The quality of their work was better than expected and I would definitely use them again. I would highly recommend them.

I had contracted with Rainshield to clean and repair my gutters (reglue the corners) and to treat the roof for moss. In performing that work, they showed me the shingle material that was collecting in the gutters. I had them stop work, as it was meaningless if the roof needing replacing. I think I could have gotten a few more years out of my roof, but what would be the point? I am 59, and I expect to replace the roof once while I'm living here (if I'm still living here to replace the roof again, that is a good thing!). And I'm sure that when the economy recovers, the cost of re-roofing will go dramatically up. I signed the re-roofing proposal on September 14, but did not notice they had the wrong area code on my phone number. This caused them to call the wrong person whenever they wanted to contact me. When I noticed the error about three weeks later, I called their office and told them about it. The office staff, however, did not inform their workmen or subcontractors of the change, and so the miscommunication continued. Work began on the roof on November 1, and ended November 15 (five guys for ten work-days). They did clean up the job site, but I had to later sweep the sidewalks to avoid tracking shingle and quot;gritand quot; into the house. The gutter subcontractor installed the gutters on November 18. Windstorm blew off a half-dozen shingles on November 20. On November 21 they called (8:15 am) to schedule the final walk-through, and I told them of the wind damage. Within an hour they were out with a crew fixing the roof (apparently the glue had not had time to set on the shingles on some roof valleys where the wind was extreme). I was impressed with their professionalism, and their commitment to customer service.

Overall, the job went fine. Their quality of work and professionalism was good. The willingness to do extra things stood out the most to me.

fantastic no complaints. After they were done it did not look like they were even there everything was clean and a guy went around several times with a magnet to make sure there were no nails around the house or more importantly the driveway.

They came out and started doing the work, but when they had to come back for other stuff, the guy kept calling and saying that this or that happened. They eventually got it done. When they moved the big tub, they didn't clean up underneath it. I'm still picking up nails. A lot of my old shake is now in my attic. They didn't stick right on schedule; that could have been better. One guy was smoking on my roof, which I didn't know. My neighbors had a fit over that. They weren't rowdy or anything. As far as being professionals, I think they were okay.

I first used Rainshield in 2000 to roof my home after hearing great reviews from 4 friends who'd all used them the prior year. They were middle of the road pricewise. They workmanship and professionalism of the crew was beyond expectation. They took great care at job completion to go over the entire project, and the clean-up was impeccable. I started using them on the 26 rental units owned by the company I am employed with. We've replaced roofing on 4 homes and 5 apartment buildings, and siding and windows on all the apartment buildings as well. Over the years we've spent nearly $400k with them and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
