Vernon did a good job over all.

Called on Friday, said he could come Saturday and look at it, gave me a time, came on time and called right before he came to make sure I would be there. Was super nice and explained exactly what would need to be done and cost. Asked if I wanted it done that day or next day. We agreed upon Sunday, the next day he came, called beforehand to tell me he was on the way. Did the job quickly and was perfect. He also answered a lot of questions I had about other things in my home with no extra charge. Super great guy, would definitely hire again in a second! Great attitude and willing to teach you how to do it yourself if you want.

There is nothing that he doesn t know how to do. I don t think he likes to sleep at all because when he is here he makes sure that the job done is right and the customer is satisfied. He is a very hard worker and he definitely knows what he is doing.

I'd call Vernon back in a heartbeat. He was on time, polite, charged us less than he originally quoted and was a pleasure to be around. He was very friendly and easy to get along with. If he was running late he would call.

Vernon was definitely to the rescue! He agreed to come out after a job he was doing in a couple of days around 5.30 pm. He said he was busy but would come to see if he could help us. He arrived at 5:20 on the agreed upon date and quickly determined that the venting had become detached from its post in the attic and that the roof vent was not the correct type for stove/oven exhaust. He made a quick trip to the hardware store for correct roof vent for kitchen exhaust, then climbed into our attic, attached the venting metal tubing to the post in the attic and then installed the roof vent within 2 1/2 hours. We are very happy and ready for our new cabinets, countertop and microwave over the stove! We are most grateful to Vernon!

Overall it went well, Vernon is very friendly. However, since he doesn't use email, it's REALLY hard to coordinate with him to get him the right address to get to my house. It was more expensive than I expected initially, but after checking with several other companies, his price was inline with what others were charging. Also, his primary line of work is re-models, so he does handyman work on the side either at night or on weekends which can make scheduling awkward.

Great. He did a wonderful job.

I have a 4 Plex, so he has worked on different units. He is very creative and came up with simple solutions to problems. He came over 1st to see what work needed to be done, and went to Home Depot to mark where items were that he needed, so that when I was paying him by the hour, he wouldn't waste time searching. I would use him again! He seems to get more informal the more you work with him.

Vernon was courteous, prompt and worked diligently. His initial estimate was greater than the final price because he was able to fix some items rather than replace. We were impressed with his honesty and good nature. Since we are so inept, he was open to teaching us what he was doing. We found him to be easy to be around. The projects took about 4-5 hours over 2 days, mostly for curing of the patches, and then the texturing. He provided receipts for all materials purchased, and anything not used up by him, he provided to us.

Vernon is very professional in every aspect of the job. He made and kept his appointments. He was delayed by traffic, notified me by phone, and arrived at the (new) estimated time. He makes sure to put booties over his shoes before he enters the house, and cleans up after he finishes a job. I hired him a second time after he completed my first job to my approval. I absolutely would hire him again, and do recommend him.

He did a superb job. He was on time, completely prepared, and just a nice guy. He got everything done in a timely manner with excellent finish work, and even my daughter said that she felt safe having him in the house. I'd hire him back in a minute, and I've recommended him to my neighbor.

Vernon was very courteous and professional throughout the process. He came to our home and walked thru my list of repairs needed. He bid the job on a Tuesday and said he could do the work on Sat. He arrived on time, with materials already purchased. Vernon worked a 10 hour day on the extensive repairs. His deck repair looked great, and he even noticed part of the deck repair involved repairing the hatch that accessed the hot tub controls beneath. I had forgotten to mention this to him, and he caught it on his own and did the proper repair. When he found more rotted decking than I had originally pointed out, he made a trip to Dunn Lumber and picked up the addt'l materials needed. When he was finished, he walked through the completed job with us. He was very thorough, and we are very happy. The price listed above was for labor, a bit higher than bid price (+$50) because of add'l needed repairs discovered. He gave us receipts for materials reimbursement. Costs were very reasonable.

I called and spoke to Vernon who said he could come out in three days. He was on time and did a great job. He gave me a quote after I showed him what I needed done. As he worked, he explained the nuances of the fixtures, and how I could take care of them in the future. The caulking looks great. He was professional and careful to be clean and neat as he worked.

Vernon was great. I was in a bind -- flooring installers had started when they found dry rot that had to be repaired before they could proceed. Vernon came to give me an estimate within 15 minutes of calling him. He came to work on the house after hours so that my flooring installation would not be delayed. He stayed until almost midnight to get the work done. Very nice quality work. He left me all of the extra materials (lumber, drywall). Very friendly, professional service. I would use his services again.

IT IS A SOLE PROPRIETOR. HE IS COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE OWNS AND MAINTAINS HIS OWN PROPERTY SO HE UNDERSTANDS WHAT YOU CAN AND CANNOT DO IN ORDER TO PASS INSPECTIONS. I HAD COMPLETE CONFIDENCE IN HIS ABILITY TO NOT SCREW THINGS UP IN CASE YOU WANT TO SELL THE HOUSE.
