VERNON TO THE RESCUE

Pro arrived on time after informing the customer in advance. Expertly fixed the wall. Cleaned up afterwards.

Vernon arrived on time, had all necessary tools, gave a fair bid for the job, did all work to a high professional standard, within a reasonable amount of time, and was friendly and pleasant throughout. I will be delighted to engage him again for any other handyman projects that might arise.

It's evident that Vernon has a lot of experience. He knew exactly what was needed and how to do it. We will definitely call on him again.

I had an old, busted light fixture outside at the end of my sidewalk. The electrical out to it was still good but the fixture needed to be replaced. Vernon came out, looked at it, got some guidance from me about what I'd like it to be replaced with. Then he went to some stores to get the equipment, came back, and installed it. He came in a timely fashion and took care of the job with no hassles.

I had a garage door rail that had gotten bumped and bent. I had the replacement rails, but they weren't exactly the right size or had the right mounting holes. Vernon did the work to cut the metal to the right length and drill the right holes to mount the replacement properly. The garage door now works as well as before.

Didn't go at all. No one actually bothered to contact me. Will look for someone else who is interested in business (and money I guess).

Vernon went above and beyond to help fix a support beam that needed replaced on our fence and did an excellent job! He is prompt and very professional and would hire again for other handyman services.

It went great. Quality job, funny guy, fast and reasonably priced.

It didn't. He came to the house & told me that putting baseboards down was really easy to do (and I should do it myself). He said that pricing the job was "going to cost you a lot of money". Really? That is what I wanted done and he was supposed to give me an estimate. Very obvious this individual didn't want to do the job. Total waste of my time. And unprofessional. You don't tell a potential customer s/he should do the job themselves - that is, if you're in business to make money. Vernon is going to do what Vernon wants to do and apparently he can pick & choose. Not someone I would ever hire to do - anything.

I thought it went well until I cleaned my new mirror and found 3 small scratches. Vernon denied responsibility but I know for a fact the scratches weren't there.

He did a great job. Superior value for the price

Vernon was a very nice gentleman, very knowledgeable and very professional. He took care of the drip quickly. The showerhead actually was a bigger issue. He gave us advice on what needed to be done and fixed what he could. We very much will use him again.

Great! Vernon came over to give me an estimate which I thought was reasonable and he went right to work. He replaced the cartridge quickly and moved on to the baseboard. The baseboard we purchased was a bit too short but Vernon made it work. Also there was some mildew from the water which he removed and cleaned with Kilz. He was very personable and professional. He even helped my husband move an armoire (really heavy Ethan Allen piece) out to the garage! I am calling Vernon back to remove a bit of moss on the garage shingles and to replace a part on the main kitchen faucet. I would recommend Vernon to my friends.

It went very well he came did a good job and I was very pleased.

We are very pleased with Vernon. He was prompt; showed up the next day. He used his subcontractor for the flooring. Not only did they replace the subfloor, they also pointed out and showed us that a new joist will need to be added as well as the water tube to the toilet being replaced. That was one of the reasons for the water damage. We were very pleased with their prompt service. We already had contracted the tiling with Lowe’s. If. I had known about Angie’s List I would have used Vernon’s subcontractor to complete the job. Thank you, Vernon. We will be contacting you again for additional work.

Very punctual, friendly, did a great job securing hose bib and patching the siding where the plumbers had left a big hole.

Vernon showed up ready to go, he started on the repair right away. He had it done in 2-3 visits, he cleaned up after every time he came. Very friendly and fair pricing.

I have hired a few contractors from angieslist and I have been pleased with all of them. However at the top of the list is Vernon. Professional, polite, consensus and an eye to detail. On top of all that, he by far is the best value for work he does. The master bedroom he mudded, taped and textured for me looks fantastic. The corners are so sharp and the room looks great.
