We didn't care for him. He didn't want to do what we wanted to done which was have the trees brought in and thinned. We didn't have any problems scheduling.

Polite, on time, and the trees were trimmed well.

Zeb Haney performed this work. He consulted closely regarding the objectives for the work, which included improving a neighbor's view by trimming a large Cherry tree. He took the time to look at the view from the neighbor's porch and even had the neighbor take a picture with his camera from an upstairs window so he could see exactly how the tree was obstructing the view. Following this he set about trimming three trees, one large, one medium and one small. He's knowledgeable and responsive and takes time to answer questions and educate customers. Following clean-up, he took extra time to meet with my wife who had just arrived home even though he ended up having to basically repeat everything that he had already told me. He uses a sketching application on a smart phone to illustrate plans, growth patterns, etc. which is very helpful too. I think Zeb's a great resource.

While the work was done nicely to my satisfaction I believe I was overcharged. It took him 2 hours to prune my trees and the invoice was for $600, that is $300 per hour. While I did sign the proposal it never mentioned how long it would take him to complete the job. it only took 2 hours so I feel I shouldn't of been charged $600.

Tree Resource has pruned our 44 trees in 2010, 2012, and 2014. Tree Resource is the only tree company to be trusted to prune trees properly. They use the ansi standard for tree pruning, use only ropes to climb trees(no spiked shoes), and do an excellent job of cleaning up after completion of the pruning. Owner, Zeb Haney, and his crew were very professional to work with, and were most willing to answer any questions that we had concerning the health of the trees, etc. I highly recommend Tree Resource as the best tree pruning company in the NW.

Very knowledgeable arborist who provided a detailed assessment on a tree we were unsure of its longevity. Also verbally consulted on health of all trees on property. We later used them for pruning services and were very impressed with their work and the manner in which they provided the service. Will definitely use them again.

The service went okay. We also received an estimate for additional work. I was not home while they did the assessment and my husband dealt with the staff. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

I'm very happy with the work that they did. It worked out very well. They're very busy so it's a good idea to be very patient with them in terms of timing because the calendar is filled up and you just have to be patient, but it's worth the wait. We've exchanged emails to set up the first part of it and nothing really happen there for while. They had misplaced the agreement that I signed and mailed to them so I reminded them. When he found it on his desk everything was fine after that.

No work was done as the contractor wasn't interested in fulfilling the Angie's List deal. He wanted four times the $199.00 tree trimming deal from Angie's List. They are the "used car dealers" of landscaping.

They showed up many hours late to our first appointment. They finally sent me an estimate for the work much later then they agreed on and the estimate is outrages. I requested a refund, I have had the service done before and it was much less than this company wants for the service.

Fine. Knowledgeable, personable, knows a lot of pacific NW tree history. This purchase required that I be responsible for taking notes.....the fee did not cover his doing a report for me. He was up front about this on the phone, which I appreciated, and that was fine with me.

I do not need this deal, as my neighbors are taking care of the tree I purchased this for.

Mick (sp?) initially came out to assess the needs of an old apple tree in our backyard. He went over his findings carefully and clearly and made recommendations. He followed up with an email including pictures he had taken and some links for additional information about the specific kind of apple tree he determined it was. He and Zeb (the owner) came out on the day scheduled for the pruning. They clearly explained what would be done, and got to work. They were thorough, careful, professional. When they were done they had me come out and explained what they had done and why, what their recommendations were for future management (another pruning in about 2 years to restore the natural shape of the tree) and additional action they recommended that I take (enlarging the area of mulch around the tree). They mulched what they had taken off and dumped the mulch in the most convenient place they could access with their truck. Mick offered to help move blocks to encircle the new mulch area (I declined on that - they had already done what they contracted to do!!), and he blew the entire back yard free of leaves (would have done the deck if I'd let him!). They were fabulous... Communication was the only issue - had to make a couple of attempts initially to connect, but once we connected, it was great.

I purchased the big deal and they were wonderful. They were just terrific. It was more than the $99 big deal price but I couldn't tell how much more. We have found them to be really pretty good. My husband dealt with them more but I know that he was very pleased with how punctual, informative and by how much they seemed to know their business. The quality of their work was excellent.

My understanding was that I was to get a "Tree risk and health assessment" valued at $125 (by Tree Resources) for just tax - Angie's ad was for "$99 for $200 toward tree service". How's this relate? All we got was a simple quote that told us nothing about our trees, just the work they would perform. The quote did not mention a $200 credit that I was expecting based on the Angie's deal. We hired a different service who spent an hour with us reviewing all our trees for free. Their take was different and more accurate than Tree Resources (specifically Silk Tree mentioned in previous section) - plus they reviewed tree health and appropriateness of the tree locations with us. This was what I expected from Tree Resources. I signed the initial SOW (assessment SOW) and emailed it to Tree Resources on 6/20. Finally after pestering them, I got a response back on 7/18 to schedule an assessment. We finally got our initial assessment on 8/15 after they changed our meeting time that morning. We got the work quote on 8/20. Not very impressive customer service. The Assessor showed up early (nobody home) riding a motorcycle - my wife almost called the police as she was alone when she came home and found a stranger wandering thru our yard. Assessor left for another appt. before finishing ours - my wife spent only 20 minutes with him. Never heard back from them again after they sent the work quote. Angie's list needs to take some ownership of the misleading ads that businesses can place.

They were great - did a really good inspection and were very knowledgable. We did not end up really needing any immediate work, so we did not do anything past the inspection. We would definitely use them is we have a problem arise. They were great!

We had scheduled an appointment in which no one showed up. We requested a refund for the Big Deal.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and it went fine. Another similar service did not think very highly of them, and actually had the owner Zeb employed by them for a while,and then Zeb went off to do his own business, which is Tree Resource, which makes me question now, about some problems with Zeb's advise. He gave me some advise, and then the other place gave me some advise. I would hire them again. I thought they were fine, it just put little flags up about the difference in opinion. I have used them 3 times, and I would hire them again. They gave every effort,and other than him being on the phone all the time, instead of working, other than that it was fine. I thought the price was fine.

Job got postponed a week due to crew illness. On day of job crew got lost and was 1.5 hrs. late but did all the promised work and put in the full contracted day (6.5 hrs.). Excellent work, including disposing of branches I had pruned earlier. Excellent clean-up afterward, as well. Friendly, courteous arborists Ryan and Nick explained what and why they did what they did.

A large branch broke off our ornamental cherry, which was what prompted this consultation. This positive experience led us to sign on for the "two arborists for a day" deal. Ryan spent a full hour evaluating particular plant specimens for which we wanted work done. He answered questions and gave us a good idea of what would be required.

Excellent experience. Not only did they come out and take care of my tree's, they answered all my questions about other tree's, shrubs, etc. They also cleaned up all the debris from pruning my trees.

They were very professional and timely. There were no problems with them. They were also easy and efficient to schedule with. However, the price was a little high.

Zeb and the arborist that came out to do the estimate and pruning were very knowledgeable and professional. Our tree in the front yard was not growing properly and had branches going every which way. Overall we are very satisfied with the results. The one thing to be aware of is you'll need to be patient on getting the work scheduled depending on the size of the job. If it's smaller, my experience was, they needed to schedule it around other jobs in the area so we had a moving target on the actual day the job was going to get done. The tree was accessible without needing to have someone home so it was just a matter of keeping in touch with Zeb on when it might happen.

Awesome! Punctual. Easy to get a hold of and schedule. Guys came and trimmed the tree, did an excellent job, cleaned up and left our house in great condition.
