I called and set up an appointment for them to come and and give me a bid for a fence. They were a no show !! I called them to see what happened and have never heard back from them.

Called on Monday. He said he would be out Monday or Tuesday and would call before he arrived. Stuck around the house. Call never came. Called back on Thursday. Never returned my call.

It went great. At the initial estimate, he said it would take multiple days, which it did. The fence is first rate. He added an extra portion of fence for no charge to a small area that had been replaced a few years ago so that it would all match. Their estimate was much lower than Home Depot and his materials and guarantee are superior to what Home Depot offered.

They removed and hauled old fences away. They did good job and price is reasonable.

Very pleasant to work with. Never met the vendor, all was done on the phone. Work was to be done by a particular date, it got pushed back several times. He made an assumption that it was OK to connect to my neighbors fence. When I told him that it was not OK, he removed the posts that he had already put into the ground and redid them as requested. It took longer than I anticipated and I was a bit upset about the initial placement of the posts. But he corrected, that without giving me any grief that and the end product looks great. I would definitely use again, but meet him to go over the details a little better.

I'll call them again if more fence and deck is need.

I called Ramiro to schedule an estimate, left message and waited a few days. After no response I called again and got a scheduled estimate date on the books. This was a morning appointment on 9-1. On the morning of 9-1 at the scheduled meeting time he was a no show for 50 minutes. At that point I was upset because I had taken time off work and received no phone call, nothing. But at the last minute he arrived. The estimate itself was just fine. He measured and explained some of the processes of replacement, seemed like he was knowledgeable. He explained that the quote was good for 30 days. I explained that I had to submit the plans to the HOA and would get back to him asap. A couple weeks later I called and left a message for him that explained that we wanted to move forward with the fence. When I reviewed the paperwork again I noticed the phone # on it was incorrect. In my message I was very clear about this and gave him my correct # multiple times. A couple days went by and no response. At this point I'm really struggling with my decision to use this company but given the other good reviews I suppress my feelings and call again. This time he answers and I explain the situation, that we want to move forward. I also explain the phone on the paperwork is wrong, he asks the address on the paperwork and writes down the correct number. He assures me that he will call me later that night when the paperwork is in front of him. I never heard from Ramiro again. Update 10/6. Ramiro contact me today. He explained why he had not contacted me previously, because of an emergency out of the country. After talking with him I decided to move forward with the fence installation. Once complete I will update this review to contain the details of the job. Thank you Ramiro! Update 11/27 After many delays Ramiro and crew finished the fence. Communications were extremely rare, no phone calls ever. I eventually called Ramiro and asked him to keep me updated. I went 5 days once without seeing them. My neighbors even started commenting on my half built fence that seemed to have been forgotten. Uhg. In the end the fence was good quality. I love it.

Nice quality, timely finish

Romero, the owner came out to give me a bid on a 6' cedar estate style fence. My next door neighbor had a fence recently built by Nice View Fence and I was impressed with the quality and how his fence turned out. Romero explained the process and how they would tie the fence into the house, and actually gave advice about staining cedar fences. I was impressed with his work, and knowledge of building fences. I ended up putting my house on the market shortly after so i didn't end up hiring Nice View Fence, but the estimate they gave me was very reasonable and judging by my neighbors fence i would have hired them in a heart beat if i would have stayed.

Ramiro and Jose are the crew; they are a small operation that can knock out jobs in a short amount of time. May is an extremely busy time of year for any contractor and they were able to fit me in between jobs. Other fence contractors were 3-4 weeks out. I contacted Nice View Fencing on a Monday, and Ramiro was able to sink the posts in on a Wednesday and put the rest in on Thursday. WOW! The results look great, and no more ugly rusted chain link (not to mention the added privacy of a cedar fence). I needed the job done fast, and they delivered. Ramiro is very smart, and was able to find a way around a problem with locating one of the fence posts by lagging it to a concrete retaining wall.

Called Ramiro on Tuesday and set an appointment for that Saturday for 1:30, he called me on Thursday to confirm. On Saturday he showed up promptly and I showed him what I wanted. Initially the estimate was for the use of 4" boards vice 6' boards. He was my first estimate. I contacted several well known fence contractor, They took two weeks to come out to give an estimate. All were higher then Nice View Fence, but one. The advantage Nice View had was I was able to watch them work and see the type of materials they were using prior to making my decision. After collecting all my estimates I called Ramiro and just wanted to change from 4" boards to 6" boards. In the end he charged me the same. I was impressed by the quality of wood he selected. All the boards either had no knots of extremely fine knots. Nothing like what they call #1 cedar at the local big box or local lumber stores. What really impressed me was they showed up when they said they would.and completed the job when they said they would They removed the old fence,posts and dug the holes. Next day they set the posts. On Wednesday they completed the fence. My neighbors who share the fence were even impressed. I really got the impression they care about the product they produce. I will call them again

Ramiro bid and came back several times due to changes in plan and negotiations with sharing cost with neighbors. He was very calm, professional and confident in what he is doing. He started and completed within 5 working days with no issues. He came highly recommended by local builder, and we were not disappointed. We will definitely and absolutely call on him again when fencing is needed.

-Ramiro, owner of Nice View, immedately responded to my request for help. Came out, walked to property and gave a good quote for what needed to be done. This was during the holiday season and I explaned to it needed to done before Dec 30 as we were leaving for California. He adjusted his schedule, they came out on a Saturday and finished that Monday (Dec 29). They hauled the old fence away, did a geat job on the new fence. Would definity recommend them. Fast response and good work.

I discovered this company, not on Ange's List, but while they were replacing the fence of a neighbor. I discovered they are listed here but were so new, they had few ratings but all were good. Decided to ask for a bid because I discretely watched them work on the new fence next door. This is a small company. The owner was actually working with the crew. He stepped over and listened to our need and brought the bid back in 20 minutes. Because we had had four other bids, I could see his bid was very fair for this project. They began work on our schedule and were open to a change in the work to add a treated 2x6 barrier at the base of the fence to protect it from the movement of the dirt on the slope. The additional charge for the change seemed to be the cost of materials only. The most impressive thing was watching the owner build the large gate that faces our street at the front of our house. He hand chose each board and then turned each board to effect the very best appearance. This is an indication of a workman who cares about his work. If you were to visit our neighborhood today, you would see three fences build by Nice View Fence.

Ramiro was professional and helped me make decisions on the fence. Price was great and he and his crew cleaned up after themselves and were very responsive to my needs.

Ramiro was up front and honest with what he would and at what price. He and his assistant showed when they were scheduled, were very efficient and did a great job on the tear down and rebuild. I have recommend him already to another who wants a fence repaired. I would hire them again.

Ramiro came out, walked the land with me and worked out what I wanted. He impressed me with the little details he thought of like small areas we may want to move our fence to make it more escape proof for our baby/pet. We set a time for him to come out and he set the posts in the ground in cement. Then he came back and installed the fence. The quality of work was wonderful. The arbor he built for one of our gates was stunning! The quality of the whole fence was truly wonderful work. The only thing I'd change is that he left little piles of dirt on our lawn from digging the holes for the posts. I don't know, maybe this is standard practice. But overall, I'd use him again in a heartbeat. Oh, did I mention that he also was the lowest quote I received? Inexpensive, quality work... you can't get better than that!
