Nice View Fence

Guys did an amazing job for a reasonable price. Other companies contacted were charging almost 60% more. The front gate, double door, wide enough for a car, started sagging. It was because a 4x6 post holding it had split and twisted. I called Ramiro and he came out and fixed it right away. These guys stand by their work!

Nice View company never showed up or called us. Even though I saw this type of review earlier, I thought maybe they wised up? Now they have another F grade added to their site. Angie's List isn't that great after all, for hiring someone.

Promised to come out to look at the job and provide an estimate. Never heard from him again and did not respond to attempts to contact him for follow up.

They built a beautiful cedar fence, 91' total, with 2 gates. Ramiro consulted with me about dealing with some idiosyncratic yard/house/patio obstacles. The result was perfect.

I basically gave the job to Nice View fencing, but they never came back again to do the work. I asked for a quote in writing. They claimed there was a problem with his fax machine/email. Looks like I am not the only customer who experienced "no show "nice view fencing. Not worth the grief!

The finished product was good, but there were some struggles along the way, mainly getting the fence to accommodate a large cedar tree that sits on our property line. The first attempt was not good, with about a 1-foot gap on one side of the tree, which Ramiro told me was the best he could do, given the shape of the tree. I pressed him on it and he finally rebuilt this section--only took a half hour--but he wasn't happy about it and pretty defensive. Not sure I'd hire him again for this reason, but the final product was good: a very solid and otherwise attractive fence.

Took a day for tear down, a day for setting posts and two days for installation over the course of a week. Everything went smoothly. Ramiro was excellent to work with.

The rep would say they will come but wouldn't show up nor pick up calls.

All in all, easy to work with. Scheduling and email communications was a little bit of challenge, however, they were punctual, on time, and got the work done and cleaned up without any hassles. We have another part of the fence needing work and will call them to do this work as well.

The work Ramiro did was excellent. He and his helper began by removing the old fence and hauling away the material. Then they came with fence posts and dug the fence post holes and added the cement to hold the posts in place. They waited a few days for the cement to harden and they returned and built the new fence and created two doors for the fence. Their workmanship was outstanding and they cleaned up after their work was done. I would highly recommend this company for the excellent work they do.

Ramiro and his crew at Nice View Fence did a good job all around. Our old fence was the original that was built over 30 years ago and was falling down in places. The new fence Ramiro put in is solid and beautiful. Nice View Fence was the only company that came out to bid, so that's why I only give them a B rating on price. That and an extra $200 that was added for extra time clearing brush. I called 2 other companies for a bid and neither one could come out because they were booked for the rest of the summer. Overall, I am satisfied with the work done.

Never showed. Stopped returning calls. Just one guy with his personal cell phone.

Never happened. He was scheduled to come out a week in advance. He texted me two days prior to our scheduled appointment. I didn't see his text since I only carry my personal phone on my days off. The day of my appointment he was a no show/no call. Once I texted him back when he hadn't shown up, he ASSUMED I was not interested in him coming since I didn't respond to his text. He is the one that wanted to change the scheduled appointment, not me. When I didn't respond, he should have called me to confirm his need to change things. This is not a good way to do business with a potential customer.

New View came and work hard and did a beautiful job. The only hiccup was the start got delayed by a family emergency but once they started it we smoothly. They even offered a cash discount.

they gave us a great fence for a great price and 2 neighbors used them also.

It went well. Ramiro made suggestions that improved our project and saved us money, too. He and his crew worked hard, efficiently, and professionally. He installed a six foot black chain link fence, two gates, and the fence for a dog run. We needed the work done early and he accommodated our schedule changes. The fence, gates, and dog run turned out well We are completely pleased with his work.

On budget, ahead of schedule and looks better than I expected.

Ramiro's work was excellent. His build quality was far better than the original fence was built with (he pointed out the defects), such that his section was much stronger and more sturdy. There is no question that if I ever rebuild the fence, or if I ever need a new fence installed, I'll hire Ramiro again. He's also very punctual. He let me know (four days ahead of time) when he anticipated starting, and he started exactly at that date/time. His pricing was great, and so was his work quality.

Ramiro was very knowledgeable and did high quality work. All posts were set 2' down and he used quality cedar board with no defects. He takes a lot of pride in his work and provides a 5 year warranty. I would gladly recommend him to anyone needing a new fence or replacement of an existing fence.

Went ok, neighbor was mad cause the disturbed there fence and the was a possibility of there dogs getting out

I called Nice View Fence for an estimate on the repair of our neighborhood fence that wasn't shutting and locking properly. Amazingly, Ramiro was able to come out that same day, and when I was discussing the issues I was having with the fence, he told me that replacing the fence and/or lock wasn't necessary and that he would be able to simply push the pole back into alignment so that the gate would then latch again. He did this free of charge and it now works perfectly. Ramiro was so kind and courteous and now I actually wish I had a larger job I could pay him for. I would definitely recommend him to others and he will be my first call if I ever have anything future fencing issues.

Ramiro seemed professional in the beginning but once we hired him that all changed. He promised to show up on Saturday to begin working. Never showed up until Sunday, no calls no explanations. He showed up when he wanted to and left when he wanted to. Did not return phone calls. Promised to have work done by Thursday. Did not complete the job until the following Tuesday. He did not do the job he was hired to do or asked to do. We specifically asked him to make the fence at a angle so it did not include the power lines. Then we saw he put the posts that placed the power pole line was on our property making it hard for the power company to work on the lines, we ran out right away and told him not to do that. He assured us that it was okay. Then the power company came out and said it was not okay. He said no problem he would fix it since it was his mistake and we asked him three times not to do it. He never spoke of charging us extra for his mistake. We also asked for a 4 foot gate. He installed a 6 foot gate. Not at all what we asked for. He also install a large gate using cracked boards. We asked him to fix it when we paid him, he said yeah I will be back Saturday. That was well over a month ago, he has not come back to fix it. He also install that gate at such a bad angle you cannot get vehicles in or out of the driveway. Buyer beware when he presented us with the bill it was $318.00 more to cover his mistake with the power line. I said no way that was 100% your mistake I am not paying it. My husband agreed to pay $150 of his mistake. He took our credit card number and later we got a charge for $170.00 which was not what we agreed to pay for his mistake. We have called and left messages asking when he will fix the cracked board on the gate that he did but have yet to receive an answer. We would not at all recommend his company. He offers a warranty but what good is the warranty if he won't come back to fix his own mistakes and does poor work?
