Description of Work: I asked especially for someone that could hang my new draperies. They said no problem. When the man got to the house he looked at them and then said he had to call his boss. A half hour later he came back and said that the drapes were to "nice" and he did not know how to hang them. He said he did electrical work and so I gave him a new chandelier to hang where an older one hung. It took three hours and than he blew the switch. Finally I asked him to leave

Description of Work: I tried in vain to contact several handyman services through "Angies List" but they either didn't respond or were booked months in advance. |Called Mr. Handyman and they were very friendly and ready to send someone in a few days, not a few months. |In my opinion, their per/hr. cost is high but considering our "Handyman" arrived early, was very nice, worked quickly and took care of everything on my list in a shorter period of time then expected...we were very happy. |Work done: Exterior scraping & caulking, replaced section of rotting trim, inspected vents, replaced broken shingles and installed roof flashing.

Description of Work: Resealed Skylights & repaired water damage in ceiling. This guy was great. This is a rental house and we could be there when you looked for the problem, he gave us a fair estimate, did the repair and without having done business with us before, allowed us to meet up with him 2 days later to review the work and pay him.
