Pros: Timely estimate, scheduling, very professional installers. In fact, our installers Anthony and Gustavo were top notch. Anthony as the lead was an experienced, flexible installer who was able to problem solve and work with us on uneven terrain. Gustavo shared his insight and together they installed a beautiful fence. They communicated well with us when unforeseen mishaps occurred (e.g. their cement mixer went kaput one day and they were so apologetic and came up with a plan right away). They were always on time, had all of the equipment they needed, were polite with my kids & neighbors, etc. Cons: Our bid (done by Gary) was horribly incorrect. There was a tremendous lack of transparency between company members. The installers were shocked at the scope of our project when they showed up. They had no idea how uneven our terrain was, how much clearing was required and how large the job actually was (shy 3 acres). The estimate was for 4-5 days and they needed 9-10 days (these guys worked HARD - it was clearly a bid issue, not an effort issue). They had to call out their supervisor to ask for additional support. The bid simply did not accurately reflect the job. And, here's the biggest kicker: after completion we said our thank yous to our installers (again, they were fantastic) and expected our bill in the mail. Instead, we got a call from Gary stating that he had made a mistake and was "with his tail between his legs" because he had underbid our project by $6,000.00!!! That's more than 1/3 of our project cost. He "left out the labor". I was shocked. Were there no cross checks? Doesn't anyone review bids? Fortunately, we signed a contract. I asked Gary to work it out with management and get back to me with a solution. He did not call back for two days. He then left a message without stating a plan. My husband then called him back (phone tag ensues). We have not heard anything at this point, nor have we received a bill. So, I would hire our installers again in a heartbeat. The fence looks great. The overall project rating here got bumped way, way down because of our interaction with Gary and our MAJOR, unresolved estimate problem. Update: Two days after posting this review I got a bill in the mail for the original contract amount. We paid our bill. Still no personal contact from Gary or the company. Were we being scammed?

Devin was very prompt and professional . He asked me my needs and we discussed the options and the types of fencing products he was quick to measure the layout and we received the bid in a timely manner. The bid was a very competitive bid We ended up going with another company

Extremely well. Removed old fence and installed new posts and 86 feet of fencing in one day. Clean up everything and was very careful to not damage any surrounding plants.

A few weeks ago I wrote a negative review about Economy Fence center. I was not happy with the service. I'm writing an updated version to say that upon reading my review they contacted me immediately and were intent on fixing the problem. It's clear they care about their reputation and making sure the customer is happy with the final outcome. As the customer, I appreciated the prompt and efficient response to my complaint. I realize that sometimes things don't turn out as expected, but what is more important to me, as the customer, is the actions a company takes to make things right. They definitely came through in the end. Thank you Economy Fence Center.

Called the Everett office on Tuesday, August 20 to get an appointment for an estimate. The receptionist took my info and indicated an individual that handles my area would be calling back. It's now August 28th with no response. I shouldn't have to make another call to remind them. I emailed one of their competitors (also on Angie's List) the evening of August 20 asking for an estimate and received a call from them the following morning. I read the reviews on Economy Fencing and did see a post regarding lack of responsiveness in their Everett office. Looks like the issue may not be resolved yet. Disappointing coming from a Super Service Award winner as the reviews indicate they do good work and are competitively priced. Hope this review helps them fix this issue. Thank you

I called a couple fence companies for estimates and Economy was very professional from the start. They were also the lowest estimate. They scheduled for the estimator (Gary) to come out and he was very thorough. He checked all posts and condition of the fence boards. He did not try to "sell" me on more work than necessary. He found a total of 13 posts that needed to be replaced and wrote down for the crew to bring additional materials just in case. They did exactly what he said and a little more for the exact estimate quote. The crew of two showed up on the scheduled day a little ahead of time and got right to work. They even went to explain to the neighbors what they were doing in case they saw them working in their yard. Nice guys, hard work well done at the estimated price. I cannot ask for anything more! They are worth a phone call for an estimate.

I filled out a request for a quote through the company website and received a reply email asking for more detail and setting a time to meet on Friday at noon. I replied I could make that, I waited half an hour and no one showed.

It went well. They were fast and reliable. the only thing that was not perfect was the clean up. They left cement mix in my garden with straw and just spread it around. The quality of their work was impressive.

Apparently they are too busy to take on a new customer. I called in for an estimate and was told as salesperson would call me back. I never heard back from the company. UPDATE: I received a call from the company after my original review about lack of contact was posted. The company representative apologized for dropping the ball on my first contact and explained that they would have someone out right away to provide and estimate and resolve the issue. We had already contracted another contractor so we did not take the offer.

Great job - they cheerfully made special arrangements to have the materials delivered to us a week ahead of time so we could stain the wood before the fence was installed, showed up when they said they would, and did a neat and professional job. The area was immaculate when they finished, and the fence and gates look terrific.

Overall workmanship was good. The morning they were to start I was called and informed that someone called in sick and they would have to delay the start of the project one day. I called our sales contact Devin and within several hours there was a crew at the house. They got a late start but pushed though and finished on time. The site leads had some good suggestions for my project that I felt added some value to what we were looking for. Some very minor issues with the work such as several boards not getting nailed at the bottom and one board too short on the bottom (3/4") as well. It was just two boards so I nailed them myself and not an issue. They offered to come out to replace the short board and 1-1/2 weeks later they showed up unannounced after the fence was stained and replaced the wrong board. I called and they were insistent on coming out to amend it and I asked them not to and would leave it the way it was. After the fence was stained and the new bark was in place it was a little hard to see anyway. Would I use them again yes they just needed to be more pro-active in a timely manor and notify the customer before they come do the repair.

Their services was good. They came out, they're really fast and they cleaned up after themselves. They were professional and their work was good. They were also very friendly, that was a bonus. They just kind of come in and fixed the big mess. The times they said that they said that they're gonna be back to us and they did and I didn't see anyone leaving the house all day. They were just kind of in and out in a flash, they did the work really fast.

They did a great job. I had 5 bids on my job, and they beat out everyone else by $1,000. It only took them 2 days to build. They reused the brackets from the old fence. Great job! The workers were very nice and professional. Their hauling rates were very good.

In the recent storm one of our posts failed. My fence was swaying in the breeze. I contacted Economy fence and they were over the same day to talk to me and assess the situation. They fixed the fence the next day. They replaces one side of the fence. They did a great job! I have 2 dogs that are family members. The workers were wonderful with them. They fixed a weak area in our back fence too. I'm hoping our neighbor in the back will go in with us to have that part of the fence redone too. There was a small gap between the old gate and a new post which I did not see when they left. I was a bit overwhelmed. We have done lots of work on the house so I thought I was getting a rest day but turned out I got none so I was not as aware as I should have been when they asked me to make sure the fence was OK before they left. I called them the next day and they came out and fixed the gap. I was afraid one of my dogs would push their way out. They secured the fence so that could not happen. Great guys!

They were all very friendly and professional, including the estimator, coordinator, foreman and carpenter. They showed up on time for the estimate as well as the day work started, saving me time away from work. They did exactly what I asked for, finished a day earlier than planned, and the finally amount charged was the same as the estimate. After completion, I got a call from the coordinator making sure that I was satisfied with the job, and then received a thank you and comment card in the mail a few days later.

Service was good. Representative showed up on time and gave me a couple different estimates.

Devon came out to provide an estimate for the cedar fence. He responded to questions and follow up emails in a timely manner. Economy Fence came out to install the fence on designated day and time. But due to various circumstances with the property line alignment and having to remove trees to install fence, decided to cancel project. Economy was understanding and kind enough to allow me to exit contract with a reasonable exit fee.

Devon was prompt and helpful when he came out on short notice to provide an estimate. His cost was equivalent to the second estimate we received, but we chose his company because he was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He showed up to start the work on time and finished the job on schedule. We have been very pleased with the results!

Not well, avoid as they obviously have too much business.

Economy Fence was incredibly responsive and sent out a sales rep the day after we called. We thought the entire back fence needed to be replace as well as a portion of a side fence, but the sales rep said that most but not all of the back fence needed replacement and that other sections could be repaired. An experienced crew came out the next week, and were careful not to disturb beds along the fence as they neatly disassembled it, installed new posts and replaced sections as needed. Took about a day to do what would have taken me at least a few weekends myself to complete. They also cleaned up the area after they were finished and hauled old materials away for recycling.

All services completed in 2 days! They were very friendly, responsive, and professional. Would definately hire them again!

They were fabulous. They were prompt and did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were here on time. They stayed late to get the job done because there were some complications with where the fence actually is. They were fantastic. I was absolutely thrilled and I would recommend them highly.

They showed up on time, completed the project well, cleaned up after themselves and the price was very good.
