Never responded to my request for quote.

Emailed request for quote from Economy website 2 weeks ago. Repeated one week ago. Both instances I stated preferred email contact. Both times I got a confirmation that the request had been received and that I would hear back "as soon as possible." To date, no reply - not even to say we're backed up on visits or maybe that I don't live in their service area (which I don't believe is the case). Because of what appears to be quality work, I would still be O.K. with considering Economy but would be reluctant to make any up front payment if the installation lead time is as unreliable as response. And, even though I don't have an emergency need, time is quickly running out on them if they want a chance at this job. Only clicked yes on would hire again because there isn't a maybe category.

Everything went extremely well and we're very happy with the new fence. They did the entire job in 3 days, they worked very fast, were careful about landscaping and irrigation in the yard. They showed up every morning of the job promptly and worked all day. Very efficient.

They destroyed the drainage in my yard and the neighbor's yard by pouring concrete everywhere. My husband had to dig everything out while the concrete was still wet, because it was flooding our lawn, while the workers stood around and watched. They repeatedly claimed they had no part in it and that it didn't happen, all while saying that we had demanded they come in the rain. Actually, I asked one of the workers if they should wait until better weather and they said no. The manager when asked told my husband "we live in Washington, we wouldn't have a job if we didn't fence during rain." The fence itself is fine, straight, seems sturdy, and is as described but the overall experience was poor. I wanted to go with a different company initially after getting some estimates but my husband had them recommended by the Ace store and wanted to use them. I would not use them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

I contacted the company multiple times seeking to have my wood fence stained. I never received a call or email back.

I am not all that happy. They need to come out and fix it, and they will not come out to fix it. I am not happy. The boards did not get nailed properly. The gate installed to get our RV in the backyard, was not installed properly. The installer came out three weeks later, and he didn't get there when I was there, and he messed it up even more, and since then, he hasn't come back to fix it.

With the advice of my salesman, Devin, I avoided some mistakes I didn't understand, and got an absolutely gorgeous fence. My neighbors tell me how nice it looks when they walk by.

The work was started on time and completed per agreed schedule. Work and material were of excellent quality. Crew was courteous and helpful.

The workers were professional and punctual and friendly. They were open to my suggestions as they were working.

In reading the review from "DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY" I would like to set the record straight... since I am the neighbor who hired Economy Fence to install fencing between us and the neighbor who wrote "do not use". There is a process that is followed when determining where to install a fence. It entails marking utilities by painting lines on the ground and also showing where it might be appropriate to install a fence between 2 properties. We reviewed the lines the day following the marking process (no need to trek out in the dark with flashlights). We did not think the lines drawn were the best location and notified both the neighbors and the company. By then, the neighbors had already called Economy Fence and threatened to sue them. We renegotiated the line location (NBD) with the neighbor present and the company representative present and ALL agreed on the new placement. The neighbors also added a section of fence for themselves on their own property. At no time was access to their property ever to be blocked to their yard. We also agreed to remove a section of fence that came too close to their house. They were completely rude and threatening to Economy Fence before and after any mutual agreement to proceed was made and fencing took place. Threatening a law suit is a very aggressive posture for a preliminary drawing of lines! The only bill they paid was for their own small section of fence on their own property. They refused to pay for their half of the fence which they agreed to (talk about ethical behavior), that is why the company continued to ask for payment. The fence looks great and there was no trash left or trees cut. No trees were involved. My hat is off to Gary, the rep, for having to deal with these people who have so wrongly slandered Economy Fence. In what universe do neighbors behave like this? I would definitely recommend Economy Fence to anyone or use them again in the future.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Our neighbor hired Economy Fence Center to install fencing in their yard. Economy Fence Center disregarded the property lines and utilities markings and painted a line to install the fence. Our neighbor did NOT approve the proposed fence line. We did NOT approve the proposed fencing as it was over the property line and nearly right against our house. The proposed location would have blocked access to our backyard. When I used the word encroachment with Economy Fence Center they acted as if they had never heard this term or understood the meaning. They attempted to tell me that I had given approval to my neighbor to move the property line and install the fence on our property and block our access to our backyard. In what universe would a homeowner decrease their lot size AND block access to their own backyard?! I used the term lawsuit to Economy Fence Center and the conversation took a turn to listening versus just yelling at me insisting that I didn?t know where the property line (clearly marked by the surveyor) was located. Ethical Behavior: Economy Fence Center provided no notice of the fence being installed or when they would map out the fence line. When we were notified we had to go out with flashlights to view their markings. In the dark, we determined they were FEET across the property line and that the angle was NOT according to the property line at all. I immediately sent an email stating that this was NOT approved work and they needed to stop all work. Price: Prior to this illegal fencing attempt we have had two fences built (Kirkland & Redmond locations). Economy Fence Center charged too much, left trash, cut trees & piles of dirt in our yard and never apologized for their error of the attempted fence line OR their error in judgement thinking that they would slide this illegal encroachment by us. Billing: We have paid our bill in full, but they keep demanding additional payment. I've sent them copies of receipts, etc., but they insist we have not paid in full. This is a SCAM. DO NOT HIRE ECONOMY FENCE.

Our experience with Economy Fence was flawless. The Economy Fence team carefully prepared a phased plan for our fencing project as we were on a tight budget. We chose to do the fence removal ourselves to save money. The Economy Fence team was friendly, punctual, thorough, and easy to work with. They far exceeded our expectations. This past weekend there were severe windstorms that took down trees in our neighborhood and resulted in an all-day power outage. Our new cedar fence did not even flinch, and I mean it. Impressive! The gates and craftsmanship is top notch and understandably when you consider the years of experience and love for their craft. I personally enjoyed speaking to the staff as they were former and active baseball players. Super cool crew! We will look forward to phase II next summer. Thank you Economy Fence for a job well done!!!

Fantastic again! This is the second fence project I've had them do and they've been great both times; very professional, punctual, and their crews do fantastic work; the quality is great and I love the fact that you can now have them install the fence pre-stained because lets face it otherwise it will never get stained and it would turn into one of those brownish grey fences like everyone else has:) So overall I am completely satisfied and pleased with the end result; Tim and his helper were great to work with on this project;

I had Devin from Economy Fence give me an estimate on having my fence replaced (approx 230 feet) He was professional, prompt and very helpful. After I decided to go with Economy Fence I was scheduled for approx 3 weeks out. Tim and Tyler were promptly at my property on the date scheduled, went over the entire project with me and went right to work. The entire job took 2 1/2 days, with 1 day off to let the new posts set up. I was completely happy with the work they did and the fence looks beautiful.

It went awful. Workers that provided quote seemed to understand project BUT the actual workers were clueless about building a nice horizontal fence. Top boards were ripped uneven and one board that was ripped had a huge knot and collapsed two days after job was completed. Two days. Awful. Quality of wood was awful. Person giving estimate did not offer differing qualities of wood although given the obvious purpose of this fence, alternatives would have been nice. Clueless. When we called to complain, they were initially responsive but seemed ridiculously puzzled about how to fix. Timeline was tight because we were hosting a wedding and I had zero confidence that they could fix fence so I fixed it. I do not suspect these guys will be able to stay in business. Quality of wood was below average. Quality of work was way way way below average.

Emailed with Jay Brady from the inside sales group. The positive was that Jay was very responsive and it was good that they didn't waste our time with in person bids. Jay mistook my 180 inches of fencing for 180 feet of fencing. The first quote was $5400 average and after correcting the quote for inches the ball park estimate was $1,000.00. We found it offensive that the per foot pricing went from $30 per foot to $66. Jay tried to justify this by saying that the crew has to come out twice. This doesn't make sense since they would have had to come twice either way. Seemed pretty shady to me.

it went really well. There price was about $1500 less than the others. The workers were excellent and courteous. They hauled away all the old stuff. They came when they said they would. It cost exactly what they said it would. There were no surprises.

I decided to go with them because I got them from Angie’s List and they offered me a 3% discount because I went to Angie’s List. I went down to their shop and I saw some of the stuff that they had on hand, and I like their work. I will see what happens when they actually do the work. They were very professional with the quote.

They put up a new fence. It went very well. They were prompt. They came out as scheduled for the estimate. They provided me with the best price. They showed up on time for the install. They did a good job. They were just very responsive and easy to deal with.

Great; I strongly recommend that you request Kyle and his helper as your installers; they are the hardest working guys I've met in a long time; on the day they did the posts it was sub-freezing out and they had to use a steel bar to chip the concrete mix off the back of their truck; I never heard a complaint or even saw any disgruntlement; they were both very friendly and professional throughout the day; amazing considering their working conditions; the posts went in straight and true; They returned today to finish the fence and cladding of the gate; when I arrived home I was amazed at the quality of their work and how much they completed in a single day; I was recommended to Economy Fence by AE Gates and that has proven to be a great recommendation. they didn't leave until they'd raked and swept up everything; job site looked great when they left; Kyle is very creative and a great problem solver; I had them set the rebar cages in the piers for my gate posts and I watched as he invented a method of centering the conduit and keeping everything stationary as they poured the concrete; I asked him this morning before I left to make sure they came up with a way of filling the gap between the gate strike post and house as well as the gap to my rv garage and when I got home they were done and both of these challenges were done and looked seamless; As an employer myself I know a great team when I see one and Kyle and his assistant are great; Simply stated, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this experience and highly recommend them.

Let me begin with our "A" grade - we got what we paid for and what we needed for our home and budget. Economy did a very good job of removing the old fence, planning the job, sticking to the estimate, and putting in the fence we wanted. The on-site crew was friendly and informative. My three comments and advice for other Angie's List fence buyers are to (1) consider quality, (2) set expectations clearly on the site clean-up and treatment, and (3) set expectations on communication. 1. Quality: We had an estimate from another top-ranked fence company that did our neighbor and they were about $3,500 more than Economy Fence. When I compare the two almost-identical fences, I can see that the more expensive job had nice finishing, i.e. better alignment of frames and boards, nails completely driven in, no splinters or splits, and finer touches on the gates. As I wrote - we're o.k. with what we got and yet I can see that not all fences are equal in quality workmanship. 2. Site Treatment: There was a bit more stepping on the neighbor's plantings, piles of dirt left behind and damage to our sprinkler lines than I expected. When I was told the sprinkler line would be cut, I expected a cut rather than just shattering the pipe with a post-hold digger. The contract says they are not responsible for damage to lines yet one might expect less damage when it was planned rather than if it was accidental. I thought removed dirt might be spread under the fence or removed and not just pushed on to our plantings. Again, I'm o.k. with the sprinkler repair and cleaning up a bit but I wish I had negotiated this up front. 3. Communication: The guys on on-site were terrific but there was no offered communication from the project's supervisor. i would have liked to know when the crew was coming were definitively and appreciated an intermediate and final walk-through on the job. This is something that I would negotiate up-front on a similar job. Economy Fence did a very good job for the price. I'd recommend them to a friend with the above pieces of advice to ensure greater satisfaction.

The initial job went well. I was happy with the work and the compay representative. The problem arose when Economy Fence was asked to stand by their work and the Trex product they represented. A year after the install, the railing is splitting everywhere a screw was used. I called the company and they sent someone out to look. Economy Fence said it was a failure of the Trex product I would need to file a claim with Trex. I did so, Trex had the deck inspected and claimed that Economy Fence installed the product incorrectly. All this took 5 months and as neither Trex or Economy Fence would admit fault, I am stuck with a subpar Deck rail that I will have to pay to replace. Economy Fence basically said this was not their problem as they could not come to an agreement with Trex and I needed to work it out with Trex. As the cusotmer I should not have to be in the middle of a dispute between the contractor and their supply distributor! Do not hire this company if you want a company that stands by their work and product the represent.

The best description is efficient, quick and well done. Plus they hauled away the old materials that needed to be taken down. This was rerouting a section of fence around a large cedar tree that had literally grown so large it was knocking the fence down. There was a very short time after the estimate when workers came to do the job. They went about the work quickly and were done faster than I thought could have been possible.

They did it last August and it costs $2500. It is good and positive. They did what and when I ask and one more was something that was not quite complete, they came back and took care of it. I was not here when the workers came, that person was friendly and informative.

The two man crew was here for the better half of a week and completed our very large and complex fencing project without a single issue.
