Description of Work: Comcast was the only available service for this area. I got the Xfinity Triple Play - cable, Internet, and phone. Phone quality was poor. I could hear whole radio broadcasts and static. These were phones I had used previously in another city, with no problem. I complained, and Comcast was very professional and prompt at sending someone out. The technician looked at the wiring, cables, even switched out the previously placed Comcast modem, but with no improvement in phone quality. He said there must be a radio station very close, and there was nothing they can do. My neighbors have Comcast as well, and they don't have this problem. After that technician replaced the modem, I lost all Internet connectivity. I had to call Comcast, again. The person on the telephone was able to send a "signal" , and restored my Internet. It is a pain having the poor quality phone connection, etc... But at least Comcast tried. They were also very responsive to my complaints, and were always able to get someone out to my house within 24 hours. The service technicians were polite, and friendly, and knowledgable. Also, Comcast always called after the service was performed, to get feedback.

Description of Work: Unfortunately because of the monopoly on cable/internet we don't have much choice but to use Comcast. They are absolutely terrible to work with. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone just trying to get services transferred from old apartment to new house. And it took 2 visits from the technicians before the internet was installed.

We were not happy with the Direct TV, so we called Comcast to upgrade our Direct TV. They provide TV, phone, and internet service. Their price is fair. I would continue to use their service in the future.

A very nice, competent, and professional tech came but had an assistant with him who was learning, I think. The tech placed the cable as unobtrusively as possible, answered my questions and followed all my placement suggestions. The one area were his assistant/learner was working, though, was done very poorly and I had to have them come out to redo it. This they did...but it required the usual hassle of waiting for an appt., having to be at home for their work, etc.
Description of Work: Added another TV cable outlet since, initially, I had only one and realized that I needed more outlets.

Over the phone I was quoted $114.00 basic charges with taxes, plus $50.00 installation. The bill I received was for $195.00.?? $30.00 difference, which makes me think my monthly bill will not be $114. I just wish they would quote actual costs over the phone. Though cost slightly higher, technician was professional and cleaned up outside cables.
